firstly, this hot take is 2 weeks old. i don't get it..

secondly, the "other residents" in question who were offended by the event and who were very sensitive to the tone of how the organizer spoke to random adults who were threatening him later made jokes about shooting at the protestors with their kids.. these "other residents" then wrote to maclean with the strong implication that the organizer was a molester and/or running an lgbt conversion camp and hurting their kids.. is anyone going to write an article about that? just wondering.

Does that sink the PMP plan? Will property taxes remain unchanged?
For homes assessed at $250,000, taxes were expected to increase around $150/yr for the next 5 years to pay for the bond.

As someone who attended school (elementary) in the old building during the time it went from "the old Pepperell High" to Main Street School to Peter Fitzpatrick, I'm happy to see the building won't be demolished and can have some local use.

...there's quite a lot of parking available for the rail trail in Pepperell... not sure why that didn't bear mentioning... also, said parking is right on a main swath of town businesses where you can hit up a restaurant to grab a drink, a meal or an ice cream for yourself/your kids, sunscreen, bugspray, or bandages from the drugstore for that blister or scrape, or lubricant from the car parts place for that squeaky noise your bike is making...

I never have been a big fan of Joe, Jonny and Dave. They don't do a thang for me. I'd love to see Billy and Dweezil though. When Joe, Jonny and Dave are gone, they will pretty much be forgotten. There is more to this story than written here as I am sure many Townsend people are aware of. At the time of the murders it was reported that LaPlante was strongly suspected in the disappearance of another local girl. At the time of the Gustafson murders Danny was out on parole from an attack on a Townsend Father, his daughter, and her friend, in their own home after their return from a pop concert. It was reported at that time that the daughter had told LaPlante she didn't want to be his girl friend. Danny was free on parole on a bond that was set up by LaPlante's mother so that Danny could be at home for the holidays, but he chose to murder the Gustafson family instead.

These girls and their coaches are amazing. This story only hints at a portion of the services they do in our community. A great example of this is their annual participation in the Nashoba Valley Unlimited Basketball program. They come in on Saturdays, often their only opportunity for some free time during their long season, to help these athletes have a great experience on the court. The best part is that they come because they WANT to be there, not to gain attention for themselves or earn some award. Thank you MIAA for taking notice of their achievements.
