Obviously, that is not true but go watch a few episodes of Monsters Inside Me and see if that doesn’t make you think about all those times you didn’t wash your hands, walked around barefoot, or ate sushi! I’ve been tired and sluggish lately and if I still received health benefits from my place of work, I’d have no qualms scooping some of my poop into a cup and walking to the hospital to because HEY I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A FEW SCARY CREATURES IN THERE.

A while ago, I blogged about how my skin type changed from normal to oily without my noticing. For a time, I was misguided and started skipping moisturizer and using harsh soaps on my face to strip off all the oil, thinking that that was the reason behind my overactive sebaceous glands. Obviously, this was a mistake and you should never ever do that! My skin was dehydrated and producing more oil to make up for it. I finally smartened up, started using a water-based moisturizer, and switched to makeup meant for oily skin… and what a difference it made! On a good day, I can last without having to blot at all.

There are a few of things I like about having pink (or any unnatural/loud/non-Asian color) hair. It’s different. In a nation where the majority of the population are too scared to go beyond black or brown, I stand out. Friends have no trouble picking me out in a crowd (works well in airports) or from a distance and cameramen tend to gravitate towards my head. Like, I’m pretty sure those dudes from Myx or ASAP covering a show would have no interest in getting my opinion to broadcast on national television if I didn’t have pink hair, ya know?

I was 19 when I first saw Hanson. The best seats we could get cost a little over 3000PHP— money that I, a college student relying on mommy’s wallet, didn’t have. I didn’t want to ask my mom for money for Hanson so what did I do? I took the money meant for my college course’s team building seminar, met up with my friends at Araneta’s ticketing booth first thing in the morning, and used it to buy a fifth row ticket (rows 1 to 4 weren’t for sale).

Obviously, if money wasn’t a problem then, it wasn’t going to be an issue now. When we got confirmation from Yam (who works for Dayly Entertainment, if you haven’t figured that out yet) that they’d be playing a second show in Cebu, I wasted no time booking flights for me and Sanya.
