Lyra Valkyria scored a big victory over Bayley this past weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

In a moment after the match, a bloody messed up nose Valkyria says that this might be the best she’s felt in her entire life. She emphasizes that going solo is the way to go. She never needed Bayley or Becky. Valkyria intends to go straight to the top.

Paige officially made her return to WWE after four years at WrestleMania. She was a replacement for Nikki Bella to wrestle alongside Brie Bella for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Titles that Paige and Brie would win at the big event and hold them up until this past Saturday, on July 18.

On Sunday, a special edition of the Nikki & Brie show took place where the twins brought their podcast to Fanatics Fest and had Paige and AJ Lee as their guests. While there, Paige talked about her time with AEW and although she has nothing but positive things to say about the company, she wasn’t where she wanted to be.

“Well, I did go to AEW and you guys, I did have a great time there but my heart wasn’t it, and I feel like you could see that in my performance when I was in the ring there and my character and it was just like, I’m a WWE girl. I love WWE, and so yeah, I went there for a couple of years and we went our separate ways and it ended really, really great and I have nothing but love when it comes to AEW and Tony (Khan) and stuff like that but yeah, when it comes to WWE, that’s just where I’ve wanted to be forever.” (Fightful/Transcript)

Paige grew up in WWE and was with the company for 11 years before being released in 2022.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Paige discussed her return and how it was leaked beforehand. She says it feels frustrating that there can’t be any surprises anymore.

“It was the Monday before ‘Mania, and then I was like, ‘Okay, well, I’m gonna be in Vegas anyway because I’m gonna be doing my podcast and signings and all that kind of stuff so I don’t think it’ll look too strange if I’m around,’ but everyone was kind of guessing. Everyone was just like, ‘Oh, Nikki’s hurt. The only person that could potentially replace her would be Paige, right?’ So, people were starting to guess and then, the day of ‘Mania, I was supposed to go do a signing, and then the last second, they pulled the signing and got me to go to ‘Mania and I was like, ‘Well, that gives it away then’ because I had to cancel a signing… Also, we got so frustrated, because it leaked the day before… I was like, ‘We can’t have surprises anymore?’ It was the most frustrating thing ever, and we were just like, ‘Okay, well, we’ll just make the most of it. People are kind of guessing that I’m gonna be there anyway’ but the reaction… I get chills thinking about it, and I love that I got to do it with you guys, and hopefully get to do it with you (A.J. But first continuing their rivalry Tessa Blanchard teamed up with Thunder Rosa and Johnnie Robbie taking on Olympia, Sanely and CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone succesfully defeating them in a two out of three falls tag team match.

Eight women competed in an elimination match this Sunday Night, Thunder Rosa, Reyna Isis, Keyra, Garra Negra, Sanely, Skadi, Hera and Olympia.

Thunder Rosa was the last woman standing pinning Olympia and earning a title shot at the Leyenda de Plata Event!

Last night two women’s matches were officially announced for AAA’s summer event, Verano de Escándalo.

After the debut of La Catalina and the return of Lady Shani to AAA, the pressure has gone higher and higher for the longest reigning AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, Flammer.

And after weeks of tension it was officially announced that she will put her title on the line in a triple treat involving the three women.

We also had a number one contender mixed tag match, the winner will get a title match for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championships at Verano de Escándalo.

Faby Apache and Joaquin Wilde competed against former champion La Hiedra with her new partner Laredo Kid.

La Hiedra tried to get under Lola’s skin throughout the match. Faby and Joaquin got the crowd by their side with their high flying moves and wrestling skills.

Using all her resentment and hidden feelings ever since losing the AAA Mixed tag titles as fuel thus winning the number one contendership after an interference from Laredo Kid.

Verano de Escándalo will be held on July 25th from the city of Aguascalientes and will be aired from July 25th till August 8th.

Hikaru Shida continues her winning ways ever since capturing the vacant TBS Title to start the month. After already defending it successfully against Harley Cameron, Queen Aminata was up next.Shida was able to take down Aminata on Saturday’s Collision. After a vicious headbutt from Aminata to Shida knocked the champion into the ropes, Shida capitalized with the ropes as leverage to secure the pin.

Much as Shida did with Cameron, she didn’t let up on Aminata after her win. She continued an attack which prompted Maya World to come in for the save.

As a rising star, Maya will get a TBS Championship match next weekend at Redemption. This is the second women’s match confirmed for the event as Thekla will be defending the AEW Women’s World Title against Willow Nightingale.

Triangle of Madness want more titles.

It wasn’t enough that Julia Hart and Skye Blue just won the Artist of Stardom Titles with Thekla on Saturday, bit now they want the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles also. On the July 18 episode of Collision, Hart and Blue challenged the Divine Dominion for the titles, but in a no disqualification match.

Divine Dominion have been champions since March and the Sisters of Sin have yet to get a shot at the tag team gold since.

With Thekla being the AEW Women’s World Champion, could the Triangle of Madness be fully dripping in gold come Wednesday?

Fatal Influence are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions as Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid have defeated Paige and Brie Bella. This took place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in NYC at Madison Square Garden. This ends the title reign of Paige and Brie at 92 days with four prior successful defenses.

This marks the first gold for Fatal Influence since being called up to the main roster after WrestleMania this year. This is the first championship for Reid in WWE. Henley is former WWE Women’s Speed Champion, NXT Women’s North American Champion, and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion (with Kiana James).

The final moments of the match had Jacy Jayne interfere as she reversed the pin of Paige to Reid into Reid pinning Paige.

AEW’s Triangle of Madness are dripping in gold.

On July 18, the trio from AEW consisting of Julia Hart, Skye Blue, and the AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla have won gold in STARDOM. They defeated Dream Trine (Hina, Ami Sohrei, and Lady C) who held the gold for 53 days. This is the second time that Thekla has become one-third of the Artist champions. She previously held the trios belts with Giulia and Mai Sakurai.

This event was the start of the Grand Prix. Hart will participate in this at a later date. Also, Syuri retained the IWGP Women’s Title against Natsupoi.
