Ash by Elegance shocked the wrestling community last September when she announced she wasn’t medically cleared to compete and actually considered herself retired. She made this announcement at Victory Road and had to vacate the title. Ash’s former student, Kelani Jordan, became TNA Knockouts World Champion later that same night.

Ash was able to return to the ring in January. She has kept close to herself what exactly had her out of action for months. Although she is still not sharing the exact health issue, she shared with the Generation of Wrestling podcast the following –

“I’m still going through it, which is crazy. You don’t have to have an injury or…what I’m going through is a health issue. A lot of people, especially my situation, I don’t look sick. I feel good today, but tomorrow might not. It’s definitely a health issue. I had mentioned, once I have a solid diagnosis…my issue is weird. They call it a medical mystery. I’ve done so many things. I spent numerous days in the ICU that nobody really knows about because I haven’t put that out there yet until I can honestly find out what this really is. We’re on a good track now. It was scary. In the beginning, what happened that forced me into retirement has trickled now into this, and it’s all adding up to being this one diagnosis. I’m just not going to say it yet until it’s out there.

“When they were like, ‘You can’t wrestle anymore,’ I was like, ‘What do I have to live for?’ This is my life and they’re telling me I can’t do something that keeps me motivated. I was not working out, and that’s my life, too. I was like, ‘I gotta do this.’ The doctors were slowly like, ‘Well, this is good, this is good. We think you’re medically good.’ I was good, I came back and I’m good to wrestle, it’s just sometimes difficult because my body kind of goes a little wonky. A couple of days before Rebellion, I have a couple more tests. Knock on wood, everything is going to be fine, but then we’ll have a solid answer of what it is.” (Fightful/Transcript)

Last night the longest reigning AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer had another challenger in the name of Sussy Love. Would she prevailed?

In her most important match of her career, so far… Sussy Love took on the champion one on one. The young star dressed in blue came in fast as a lightning bolt against Flammer and her toxic following that were chanting the champions name through out the match.

Flammer’s toughnesss surprassed Sussy’s uniqueness and with a codebreaker followed by a nasty looking double kick to the face, Flammer prevailed once more.

Mercedes Moné announced on Saturday that she had to relinquish her last belt she held. This was the APAC Women’s Title from the Malaysian promotion.

The founder of the promotion, Ayez Shaukat, posted a reply to clarify his side of the situation.

He wrote:

I woke up on 3 hours of sleep to a flood of texts, tags, and questions, so let me say this clearly. I have nothing but respect for Mercedes Moné. She is a global star, in high demand, and I understand that her schedule and travel limitations are real,” he wrote.

I do not blame her for this situation, and I appreciate the opportunity we had to work together. But the public narrative being pushed does not fully reflect what actually happened. We did try. We did explore working with other promotions, because that was what was asked of us. I personally reached out, followed up, and tried to make multiple scenarios work.

I also need to correct this clearly: I did not ask other promotions to fly my wrestler in for us. I have the text and email receipts to back that up, and I am prepared to stand on that truth if necessary. I have chosen not to post private communications lightly because I still believe in handling business professionally, but I will protect my name when needed,” he continued.

For more context, I was even willing to go beyond our limits on my side. I openly said I would take on extra work and secure sponsors to try and bring Mercedes to Malaysia. That ultimately was not workable, which I understand, so we were pushed to explore solutions abroad instead.

I would have genuinely loved to make something work with Arek in Poland and Hal in France. Both were respectful, professional, and tried to find real solutions. I appreciate both of them for that. But when we looked at the full picture, it simply did not make business sense financially for us.

I also want to address Winnipeg Pro Wrestling. Our interaction was minimal. I reached, was initially ignored, and only received a single response declining based on budget and their story direction, which I respected. That was the extent of it. So the public version being pushed does not reflect my actual communication with them. Again, I have receipts for that. I am not here to tear anyone down or create more drama.

To Mercedes, I sincerely apologize for any public discomfort this has caused. I still have respect for you, and I understand you are likely speaking from what was communicated to you.

I am only here to stand on the truth, protect my name, protect my company, and move forward with dignity.

APAC Wrestling will keep building. We will keep fighting. And we will keep representing Malaysia with pride.

RHIYO is back together, at least for now.

On the April 4 episode of SmackDown, Rhea Ripley defeated Michin. However, for the third week in a row, the numbers game of the WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab was far too much for Ripley. SKY appeared on SmackDown to add some help to her former teammate.

From this, Ripley will be back on Raw this Monday to team with SKY. They will be taking on Michin and B-Fab.

With Cargill likely at ringside and SKY’s troubles with Asuka and Kairi Sane, are the numbers and obstacles still too big for the former tag team champions?

Tiffany Stratton hasn’t had the best of luck lately attempting to get a win over the WWE Women’s United States Champion, Giulia. Two weeks ago, Stratton had a non-title match against Giulia, but couldn’t come up with the win.

Inaugural and former two-time WWE United States Champion, Chelsea Green has tried to lend her services for a number of weeks to Stratton. A request that up until now, Stratton hasn’t shown any interest in.

In a SmackDown exclusive, an exchange between Green and Stratton took place.

Green – “Oh, I saw you over there looking all lonely and tacky and miserable after your loss to Giulia, so I just thought I would come here and say, I told you so. Oh, I bet you wish you took me up on my offer last week, but you don’t have any taste, so that makes sense. Anyway, I will be out of this boot and this chair in no time, and I will be going for said title, so…”

Stratton – “I just had a Tiffany epiphany. Maybe I have been a little bit too proud, and maybe I do need some help beating Giulia, and as annoying as you are, you could be a good help for that. So, I won’t wheel you away just yet.”

Alba Fyre emerged to help, but Green told her to stand down.

This past Saturday, NXT showcased its biggest event of the year, Stand & Deliver. The highlight of the show was Lola Vice capturing the NXT Women’s Championship, where she triumphed over Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey in a memorable Triple Threat match that will be talked about for years. Outside of this, two women’s matches were also on the card and a preshow mixed-tag team bout.

First, on the preshow, the TNA Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace and the rest of Birthright took on the team of WWE Speed Women’s Champion Wren Sinclair, Hank & Tank, EK Prosper, and Shiloh Hill. HIll picked up the win for his time by pinning Charlie Dempsey.

Following that, the intensely personal rivalry between Zaria and Sol Ruca unfolded. The match kicked off without delay, as Ruca bypassed her entrance and immediately attacked Zaria in the ring. Zaria proved to be a tough opponent, but Ruca ultimately secured the win. It required three Sol Snatchers to keep Zaria down, with the first one executed on the unforgiven ramp. However, this took a toll on Ruca, allowing Zaria to recover and charge at Ruca, spearing her through the ring ropes back into the ring.

Zaria attempted to take advantage of the situation by lifting Ruca for an F5, but her back failed her. This created an opportunity for the second Sol Snatcher. Just as the count was about to end, Zaria managed to kick out, surprising everyone—maybe even herself.

Zaria would capitalize with another spear and an F5, but Ruca kicked out. Then, on top of the turnbuckle, the two traded blows until Ruca landed an X-facor from the top to the mat. One final Sol Snatcher put the nail in Zaria’s coffin to get the win for Ruca.

Lastly, for this yearly event, we witnessed the NXT Women’s North American Title on the line. It would be the champion, Tatum Paxley, taking on Blake Monroe. Monroe had stolen the title belt and kept it for the past number of weeks. However, Paxley would retain and get her belt back.

Towards the end of the match, Paxley’s head hit an exposed turnbuckle, only for Monroe to land the Glamour Shot. However, Paxley would kick out, much to Monroe’s displeasure. Frustrated, Monroe went for a second Glamour Shot, but Paxley countered into Cemetery Drive to retain.

Mercedes Moné is officially belt less. At one point, Moné held 13 titles. She started to lose most of the belts when she lost the ROH Women’s TV Title to Red Velvet followed by the AEW TBS Title to Willow Nightingale in December. Since then, she has traveled the world dropping titles on the indies.

The last title she held was the APAC Women’s Title from Malaysia. Moné announced the news she had to vacate the title in her recent edition of Moné Mag.

“A Tough Decision
While I was in London, I had to make a tough call.
I sent the Malaysia Championship back.

My team and I really tried to make things work—we put in the effort, had the conversations, and explored every option. But at the end of the day, they told us they didn’t have the budget to fly me out and weren’t open to working with other promotions.
For me?
That just didn’t align with the vision.
So I made the decision to vacate the title.

And look—this business isn’t always easy. Not every partnership works out the way you hope. But I’ve learned to stand firm in my worth, my time, and what I bring to the table.

Every title I hold means something.
Every move I make has purpose.
So even though it wasn’t easy, it was necessary.
Because growth sometimes means letting go.

I’m always moving forward.”

Moné has been on a hiatus from AEW since dropping the TBS Title to Nightingale in December. She has recently commented that she will be returning soon. She has dropped titles to the following women –

In a remarkable match at NXT’s Stand & Deliver on Saturday, a new NXT Women’s Champion has been crowned. A Triple Threat match had Jacy Jayne defend against both Kendal Grey and Lola Vice. It was Lola Vice who finally won the big one to become the NXT Women’s Champion. This makes her the first Cuban American to win a championship in WWE history.

The final moments of the match had Wren Sinclair taking out Fatal Influence and running them back out through the crowd. This left Jayne in distress as she was calling for Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid to come back.

While Jayne was reeling, Grey took out both the champion and Vice on the outside. Grey got Jayne up top to land Shades of Grey, but as the referee was counting, Vice locked in a submission on Grey. After trading cover’s and counter’s, Jayne lands Rolling Encore to Grey knocking her out of the ring.

Jayne turned around into a back fist by Vice who pinned the champion to become the new champion. This ended Jayne’s second reign at 137 days. Vice becomes the 22nd woman to win the gold since its inception in 2013.

Vice is now a double champion as she is also one-half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions with Mr. Iguana.

There’s no denying the in-ring chemistry between long time ring competitors Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. These two women have wrestled along side each other as friends and against each other as bitter enemies.

When it comes to WrestleMania, these two women have not had a singles match at the biggest event of the year. They’ve had two championship matches that have involved a third person. First, at WrestleMania 32, Sasha Banks joined them in a Triple Threat as the Divas Championship was retired and the new WWE Women’s Title (later Raw Women’s Title) was born. They then battled again in a Triple Threat at WrestleMania 35. There, they became two of three women to be the first women to main event a WrestleMania. They were joined by Ronda Rousey in that match.

The two wrestling icons have had plenty of singles matches on pay-per-view events, but none as big as WrestleMania. While speaking with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, Lynch was asked if she sees herself and Flair ever having a singles match at the Show of Shows.

“I don’t see why not,” Lynch said. “I would say it’s always on the docket. Anytime we come back to fight each other, there’s always… interest and there’s always intrigue. People always want to see us beat the bejesus out of each other. And isn’t that a fun place to see, because I love beating the bejesus out of her.”

At this year’s WrestleMania 42, Lynch will be challenging AJ Lee for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title. A title Lee won off of Lynch and also a title that only Lynch has held twice. Can she make it a third?
