			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="size-full wp-image-494 alignright" title="me = 25 lbs less" src="http://divaonadiet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/me25.png" alt="me = 25 lbs less" width="169" height="100" />Well, I am soooo behind on getting this update out! Time has just been getting away from me! I already made the announcement on twitter when I weighed in on Wednesday, so a lot of you already know! But finally and big, huge (and totally unexpected!) shwoosh! I lost 4.2 lbs this week! Now, I am pretty certain I was still dehydrated after overdoing it on libations and chips and salsa on Monday evening! So I was bad and weighed myself again on Thursday morning just to see, and I was right&#8230; my weight was back up 0.8 lbs. But even so, that still has me in the super-amazing, I-am-so-happy range for the 25 Pound Milestone!!! I was so excited to see that little blue star pop up on my tracker when I entered my weight! See, since starting Weight Watchers back in 2008, and being on an off it, I have never made it that far! Of course, I have more to lose this time than any of the other times I tried, but I&#8217;m telling ya, I do BELIEVE this is gonna be my year! I am finally gonna do it! Here&#8217;s the even cooler part, that I didn&#8217;t even realize until today&#8230; My BMI is at 29.8, which just squeaks me into the &#8220;Overweight&#8221; category. I am no longer Obese!!! Well, I suppose if I weighed in at a Weight Watchers meeting or my doctor&#8217;s office with my clothes on, that wouldn&#8217;t be the case, but I am going with my naked-as-a-jaybird weigh in! <img src='http://divaonadiet.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Now what did I do to lose all that weight this week? Well, I kinda think it was just making up for the last few weeks of very minor losses, because I just keep generally doing the same thing every week! I can tell you that I have tracked everything, good or bad, every day of January, and I did use weekly and and sometimes almost all of my activity points. This week I used all my 49 weekly points, and just 1 of 26 activity points that I earned. In general, I don&#8217;t meet the healthy check guidelines every day. I try to, but some days, I&#8217;d say about 1 to 3 of them, I just can&#8217;t. I&#8217;m not perfect! So there ya have it. I&#8217;m gonna keep on chuggin&#8217; along! And hopefully this week I will have time to post some actual other things that I have been wanting to, but just haven&#8217;t!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So yesterday, at work, I was venting my heart out, typing up a storm for this here post&#8230;. bitching, moaning, complaining, etc, about my measly 0.3 lb weight loss this week. I&#8217;m glad I got the chance to vent, but after some other positive moments and some awesome support from my twitter friends, I decided that I wasn&#8217;t going to sit here and bitch and moan to you. (It&#8217;s your lucky day!)</p>
<p>The thing is, I had an amazing month in December, and it just appears that my body is being a little more stubborn this month! It seems I am in a bit of a plateau. This is where it gets hard, but here I am, sticking with it!  And hey, I haven&#8217;t had a gain in 7 weeks! I have tracked my food, activity, and HCG&#8217;s every day in January! I have worn my <a title="FitBit Ultra" href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?B=286239&amp;U=137414&amp;M=31379&amp;urllink=updateweek7" target="_blank">fitbit</a> every day to see just how many steps I am doing and how I am sleeping! And I have worked out more and eaten better in the last 7 weeks then I have in a VERY long time! So there you go. I am doing good, and I am not going to sit here and bitch about it!</p>
<p>On another note, I am sad that I don&#8217;t have more time to tweet or get on facebook, or that I didn&#8217;t get a chance to do a Meatless Monday post, or a giveaway roundup, and that most of the recipes I have tried lately are just ho-hum and aren&#8217;t worth a post! I&#8217;m even annoyed that I didn&#8217;t even put together a cute picture for this post! But is that the most important thing? Naw. Eventually I will find some time again for that, but the most important thing is that I am sticking to it. I am totally sticking to it!</p>
<p>Oh, and let me not forget, today two people noticed that I&#8217;ve lost a lot of weight! Nothing like a little validation for all of your hard work! (You can than me now, Weight Watchers, because they both asked me how I did it and talked about joining!) So kids, that&#8217;s it for today. I&#8217;m exhausted, so I am hitting the shower to rinse away my treadmill grime and hitting the bed! Until the next time!!! &#8230;</p>

I keep thinking, I could have eaten better, I could have drank more water, I should have stopped eating earlier in the evening, I should not have had that wine, I could have worked out more and harder&#8230; And I sit here on the couch, after a workout and dinner, looking at my stomach still sticking out, and I am disgusted. I am thinking that cartoon Bob the trainer on my <a title="Wii Biggest Loser" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002BUSVJO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=divaonadiet-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B002BUSVJO" target="_blank">Wii Biggest Loser</a><img style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=divaonadiet-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B002BUSVJO" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0" /> workout my was right. I need to push myself harder to lose this gut. And then I think back to what I read in my latest book, &#8220;<a title="Working Out Sucks! These are positive influences, right? Wrong. In the course of a single sixty-minute episode, we watch contestants lose 50, 100, 200, or even 300 or more pounds. The effect misleads us into thinking that we should be losing significantly more weight each week than what our scale tells us, and in a world ruled by immediate gratification, we lose hope and motivation when we don&#8217;t experience immediate de-fatification. This frustration leaves to stress, shame, and disappointment&#8230;&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Voila! My disappointment appears to be based on the idea that I can (and should!) lose enormous amounts of weight because those people do it! But hey, who am I kidding? I am not at a fancy house or ranch filled with trainers, doctors, and nutritionists with 24 hours a day to dedicate to working out and eating right, and Bob Harper is not actually in my face when I stop doing an exercise move on <a title="Wii Biggest Loser" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002BUSVJO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=divaonadiet-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B002BUSVJO" target="_blank">Wii Biggest Loser</a><img style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=divaonadiet-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B002BUSVJO" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0" />! (and thank God for that!) So, here&#8217;s a news flash for my little primitive brain: I don&#8217;t HAVE to hurt that  much and be that miserable, and I can still drink wine and have splurges, to lose the same amount of weight in a longer period of time! It has happened to a lot of people &#8220;just like us&#8221; who aren&#8217;t on TV. Doesn&#8217;t that sound so much better than pure torture for a few months? And how many of those contestants gain it all back when they go home? Ok, not all of them, but some of them!</p>
<p>So, hell yeah, I&#8217;ve convinced myself&#8230; I am thrilled to have lost 1.7 lbs this week! In fact, I just realized I haven&#8217;t gained at all in the last six weeks, splurges and days of not working out included! That rocks!!!</p>
