Number 10

Little Kim fell three places this week to number ten in her fifth week in the top ten. “Download” is the jam that uses the computer and the internet as a metaphor for love and/or sex. Yea, I know. Original …right? She has Charlie Wilson on this jam from the GAP Band singing the hook. They got a few weeks in the top ten mostly off of credibility from their past works, but whatever works.  Charlie Wilson will indeed be performing at the Taste of Chicago today.

Number 9

First week in the top ten for Webstar featuring Jim Jones. It ain’t a bad thing to have Jim Jones on your cut, and I’m sure the record company knew this before they paired these two. They tryna get Webstar known for more than the “Chicken Noodle Soup.” It’s enlightening to see all these DJ’s get record deals (light bulb goes off!) The name of this jam, by the way, is “Dance On Me.”

Number 8

I like this little jingle. Phoenix Phenom is the artist, and “Love Song” is the jam. Yep… I liked it the first time I heard it. Old girl has potential, but depending on what outfit she has on and how her hair is whipped… she favor Aaliyah a little. This may work against her… I dunno. As a new artist she’s aiight, but as an Aaliyah look alike, she fails. Don’t think she’s tryna imitate Aaliyah on purpose. Whatever the case, two weeks on the chart so far.

Number 7

Fabolous moves up two spots to number seven this week with “Put It In The Bag.” Four weeks in the top ten so far… and that’s all I have to say about that.

“Ricky Bobby” gets another week in the top ten, which brings the total weeks to six.

Method Man and Redman are up to number five this week with their latest jam “A-Yo.” They ain’t lost a step, and they are smart enough to keep working together. Four weeks in the top ten so far.

Number 4

“Epiphany” by Chrisette Michele is down three spots to number four this week, but it’s still my shit. Last week’s number one song has been in the top ten for ten consecutive weeks, and that’s longer than any other song this time around.

Number 3

Lil’ Wayne and them are at number three with “Every Girl.” Nine weeks in the top ten for this one. Lil’ Wayne is still on top of the world for now. Too bad he’s accused of having an illegal gun. This former number one jam spent three weeks at number one before loosing the spot to Crisette Michelle last week. Neither of the two are doing badly this week.

Number 2

Six weeks in the top ten brings the Fast Life Youngstas to number two with “Swag Surfin’.” I don’t see nuthin’ wrong with the young artist out there copping some time on the chart. Can’t help but like it sometimes.

So… Michael Jackson is gone y’all.  I still cain’t believe it.  It’s amazing how much his life resembles that of Elvis Presley.  If I’m lucky enough to be around as time goes on, I’ll definitely remember what I was doing at the time I heard that Mike died.  Technology allowed me to share these moments with thousands of others.  Rest in peace Mike.  And now… life goes on.  Music goes on.  We’ll be back to count them down again soon.  Same time, same place. ’til then, don’t bump into the turntables!

Number 10

My boy Fabolous is back in the top ten with his latest release “Throw It In The Bag.” First week in the top ten for this jam, and Fabolous wants us all to know that he ain’t rappin’ bout stealing… he’s rappin’ bout shopping. Thanks Fabolous.  I would have never figured that out.

Number 9

This joint goes out to the entire high school Senior class of 2009. I had the honor of spinning at a prom last week, and this was the number one requested joint. Got it into the top ten last week, and it moves up one more place this week to number nine.  “Rick Bobby” by B-Hamp.

Number 8

Method Man and Redman are back in the top ten with “A-Yo.” First week on the countdown for this one as well. These two cats have chemistry like Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby. Like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Like Mudd and Jeff. Glad they did another project, and they should keep doing projects together.

Number 7

Lil Kim moves up two places this week with “Download” featuring Charlie Wilson. She must’ve stayed up many late nights to come up with this concept (sarcasm). I’ve actually heard dozens of unsigned artist make little parody songs that use this metaphor. Ya know… love and the internet? But lil Kim has the record deal, and she has two weeks in the top ten so far.

Number 6

Number six this time around belongs to the Fast Life Youngstas. “Swag Surfin’” is enjoying it’s third week in the top ten, and this has started to grow on me. The video kinda cute in a ghetto/hood type of way, and it’s always fun to see the kids do their dances.

Gotta love number five this week. Laura Izibor is an Irish R&B singer that I think I may wanna have sex with. How old she she anyway? 20? Yea, that’s old enough This is her fourth week in the top ten with her current joint “From My Heart To Yours.” This my friend, is a good-ass song. Nuff said.

Number 4

Hurricane Chris holds steady at number four this week with “Halle Berry (Se’s Fine).” Caught a link off Twitter the other day with Miss Berry doing the dance named after her on Ellen. Hit me up to sign the petition to get Ellen to stop dancing on TV ;). Five weeks in the top ten for hood celebrity Hurricane Chris.

Number 3

The three spot goes out to a former number one song. In fact, “On The Ocean” by K’Jon spent three weeks at number one. It fell to number two last week, and lands at number three this time around. Who is K’Jon anyway?

Number 2

This little jam is my shit! “Epiphany” has been in the top ten for seven weeks, and this goes on my list of slow songs that you can actually break dance to. For real though… I love it and there is no other way to describe these types of songs. The artist is Chrisette Michele (did I spell that right?), and she has made a name for herself with this one.

• “Blame It” by Jamie Foxx featuing T-Pain fell outta the top ten after an amazing 15 week run.  That ties it for the longest stay this year. It also spent two weeks at number one.

Second week in a row for Lil Wayne in the number one spot. It’s been this dude’s 15 minutes of fame for like the last couple of hours for cryin’ out loud. He has a CD out that is doing well, and he’s about to put out another. I thought Michael Jackson should done that exact thing to follow up Thriller, but that’s neither here nor there right now. “Every Girl” is number one for the second week in a row. All congrats due…

Ya know, I really like this song.  Number ten this week goes to Lil Wayne and “All The Girls.” First week in the top ten, and another Lil Wayne cut to crank to ten when you hear it.  “Cause we like heerrr, and we like her too!” That’s what’s up.

Number 9

Chrisette Michele moves up one more spot to number nine this week. This is another good-ass song, man!  “Epiphany” makes me have a  sudden manifestation of the essence or meaning of something… and ya don’t stop.  Second week in the top ten so far for this jam with the catchy little hook.

Number 8

Keyshia Cole holds steady at number eight this week with her latest release, “You Complete Me.” She’s been in the top ten with this one for seven weeks so far, which is standard for a good hit.  Unfortunately, Keyshia hasn’t cracked the top 5 this time around as she usually does.  We still got love for her, cause her name generates mad traffic from the search engines.  Plus, I still wanna hit that

Number 7

Hands down one of favorite songs out there right about now.  K-Jon moves up two places this week to number seven with “On The Ocean.” One can see post all over the internet saying that this cat sounds like Case or KC or somebody to that effect.  The good thing is that those are all complements.  Most importantly, this is a good-ass song.  Three weeks in the top ten so far.

Number 6

Rick Ross manages to move up a spot this week and land at number six.  I hear him and 50Cent recently squashed their beef.  That’s good news if it’s true, even though 50Cent put out that XXX video of Rick Ross’ baby momma.  50 was a fool for that.  Meanwhile, Rick Ross has a top ten song on his hands, and let’s hope all the pub about the beef helps him sell some records.  “Magnificent” featuring John Legend is at number six this week.

Number 5

Sometimes, one hears a song over and over and it grows on them.  Such is the case for me and Kid Cudi when it comes to “Day and Night.” Man, I catch myself singing the hook over and over, and I in no way took this song seriously when I first heard it.  Now, I think it’s cute.  Five weeks in the top ten so far as it is up one spot this week, and still heading in the right direction.

Number 4

Twista drops two places to number two this week with his latest jam, “Wetter.” Most know by now that this is like part two to his previous jam, “Get It Wet.” Ten weeks in the top ten so far, with two of those weeks at number one.  Not bad.  I respect this jam, but it’s not quite my favorite Twista cut.  This one is a success, but it didn’t move me like his verse did in “Po Pimp.” Boy, if that ain’t the best verse he has ever written in my opinion.

Number 3

Jamie Foxx is currently working it out at number three this week.  “Blame It” has been in the top ten for eleven weeks, and it has now been in the top ten longer than any other song this week.  Jamie spent two weeks at number one, then it fell to number three, then four… and is actually back up a notch to number three this week.  It just still makes everyone dance, from Jr. to Grandma, with no complaints.  Should this not have crossed over by now?

Number 2

Busta Bust moves up to the number two spot this week.  I like this one when I first heard it, once again in spite of T-Pain being all over the track.  I cain’t go through a top ten without mentioning T-Pain’s ass.  In case you ain’t know, I gave up on hating on that dude a long time ago.  Take too much energy.  Whatever the case, Busta-Bust has been in the top ten for seven weeks now with “Hustler’s Anthem.”

• “Turning Me On” by Keri Hilson finally fell outta the top ten after a brilliant run.  Two weeks at number one, and a whopping sixteen weeks in the top ten.  This song was in the top ten longer than any other song this year.

K’Jon kicks off the top ten this week as he moves up four places into the ten spot.  This is a fantastic song!  You can quote me on that.  Finding this live performance on You Tube was a treat, so be sure to view this video.  It’s a good way to get to know this cat if you’re asking, “Who is K’Jon?” Not coincidentally, his Myspace page is myspace.com/whoiskjon.  How about that?  First week in the top ten.

Number 9

Number nine this week belongs to Rick Ross.  He’s up one place this time around with his latest jam “Magnificent.” Two weeks in the top ten so far.  I never did watch the entire video of his baby momma from the 50 Cent web site.  I believe I was somewhere where that wouldn’t have been appropriate.  Whatever the case, she’s a porn star now if she wasn’t at first.  Meanwhile, John Legend is on the controls on this one along with Rick and Justice League.  Two weeks in the top ten.

Number 8

Kid Cudi is up another spot himself to land at the number eight spot this time.  This cut grew on me, and grew on me, and I’m not embarrassed to say that it rings in my head when I hear it.  I’m not embarrassed to say that I catch myself singing the hook up under my breath sometimes.  Nope, I’m not embarrassed at all.  “Day Night” has been in the top ten for three weeks.

Number 7

Keyshia Cole is at number seven, and it’s not just because “I wanna hit that.”  Well, I should say that ain’t the only reason she’s at number seven.  I like her little song too.  Check this out though… the next time I talk about her on this chart, I’m not gonna talk about having sex with her.  Watch.  If I do, I’ll give a T-Shirt to the first person who notices.  Five weeks in the top ten.

Number 6

“Stanky Leg” may have reached it’s peak a couple weeks ago when it was at number three.  Last week it fell to number four, and now it’s down to number six.  I’m always down for a popular dance that doesn’t involve too much moving around.  Especially if I’m out and I got on one of my “get-down” shirts.  I ain’t about to have big old sweat pools up under my arms in the club if I can help it.  Six weeks in the top ten.

Number 5

Keri Hilson is having an incredible run in the top ten.  Its been here longer than any other song this week.  “Turning Me On” spent two weeks at number one.  It started it’s way down the chart, froze at number eight for a couple weeks, and is slowly making it’s way back up the chart.  Up one more place to number five this week is Keri Hilson.  She was right up the street from me at the Sears Center last week with Lil Wayne and them.  The after jam was at Club Heat.  That much action right in front of me out here in the burbs.  I wasn’t supposed to go?  Fourteen weeks in the top ten.  Wow.

Number 4

Busta Rhymes its up another spot this week to land at number four with a little help from T-Pain.  I guess Busta was like, “Fuck it, he’s on everyone’s cut.  Why not be on mine?”  Yea, why not?  I like the hard beat in this one.  It almost sounds like a Dr. Dre track.  Five weeks in the top ten for Busta-Bust and T-Pain with “Hustler’s Antem.”

Number 3

Jamie Foxx lands at number three this week with a little help from T-Pain.  You would think I like T-Pain’s ass, as much as he is all up in my top ten.  However, this jam spent four weeks at number one, which is the most by any song so far this year.  It kinda still makes you turn it up when you hear it, even though you hear it “fifteen times a day, for three months.”  “Blame It” has been in the top ten for nine weeks.

Number 2

This dude came up on from getting his song on the air at WGCI with Timbuk2, and now he’s got a record deal.  I’m about five seconds away from wanting to hate, because we didn’t have these opportunities back in the stone age days when we used to walk around shopping our demos on the ToneMaster tapes.  You’s better ask somebody.  On the real though, big ups to Jerimah.  “Birthday Sex” is no doubt the number two jam this week.  Five weeks in the top ten.

Jazmin Sullivan slides into the number ten spot this week.  I’m still tryna figure out how I feel about Jazmin over all, but this jam has slowly but certainly grown on a brah… and it’s in the top ten for the first week.  “Lions Tigers, and Bears” is the name of the jam, and if she’s not affraid of them she should be afraid of something.  Especially if she’s the type to commit vandalism on someone else’s car to get revenge.  One of her songs make that claim, right?  Yea, I’m not sure how I feel about her yet.  First week in the top ten.

Number 9

Next up tonight is Keyshia Cole with her latest jam.  She’s no stranger to the top ten, and she’s still just as attractive than ever to me.  Boy, would I knock the stuffin’ out that Egg McMuffin.  I just wish she didn’t have that reality show on TV.  Yea, it adds to her success and everything and I’m proud of her, but c’mon.  I can never ever watch for long cause her sister and mother yell too much for me.  I caught Frankie being funny as hell once or twice, but can never get past all that damn yelling for the same thing over and over.  I hope this doesn’t hurt my chances of getting it on with Keyshia one day :)  Two weeks in the top ten.

Number 8

Keri Wilson is still hanging around in the top ten with what is gonna be her signatue cut apparently.  Down three spots this week to number eight, but the dope thing this week is that this song has been in the top ten longer than any other cut by far.  I’m glad “Turning Me On” is still around, cause I get to use this opportunity to flirt with my girl Sheena if she looks in on the chart this week.  She’s an attractive little somethin-somethin who likes this song, and I’ve been tryin’ to whisper cyber sweet nothings softly in her email account… Oh wait, everybody in the world can see this, rite?  My bad ;)  Meanwhile, Keri Wilson has been in the top ten for an awsome twelve weeks.

Number 7

“Birthday Sex” is up to number seven this week by Chicago’s own Jeremih.  This is the cat that came from WGCI’s weekly local unsigned artist show.  They started playing him in regular rotaion, the other stations did too, and now he’s signed to Def Jam.  And ya don’t stop!  Second week in the top ten for the young brah, and the good thing is that it is indeed a good song.

Number 6

Busta Rhymes is up to number six this week with his latest effort.  From the high-top fade, to locks, to some type of receding fade, braided up Sho-Nuff looking thing, to now the two-guard with the tight lining to show off the steroid neck.  I’ve been a fan of Busta-Bust the entire trip.  This dude is my age and he’s still out there rapping.  Let’s see how far it will go.  Even Uncle L eventually fell off.  Oh yea, featuring T-Pain.  Second week in the top ten.

Okay, I’m gonna allow this song to move up to number five this week.  “Stanky Leg” is a hit, and the dance doesn’t take a lotta energy, so it’s alright with me :)  Three weeks in the top ten for the GS Boyz, and I’ve decided not to hate on this song anymore.  I’m just gonna do the “Stanky Leg” with everybody else.

Number 4

Beyonce falls two spots to number four this week with “Diva,” and I cain’t help but still feel like her songs are all starting to sound the same.  The tripped out part is that I still like her and her music right now, so I guess that translates into her having her own style.  Always gotta point out that I was origianlly a Beyonce hater.  Eight weeks in the top ten this week for Beyonce Z.  Get it?  Beyonce Z?  She’s married to Jay Z?  Her last name now is Z? Get it?  Oh, never mind.

Number 3

T.I. holds steady at number three this week with his little duet with Justine Timberlake.  “Dead And Gone” is the name of the current release.  Didn’t like it at first.  Still don’t… so an obvious question is why do I have it in my top ten?  Plan to address that on an ongoing basis, but an immediate answer would be radio airplay.  Another answer is that a brah tries to be fair, even if I’m hating.  Five weeks in the top ten.

Number 2

Twista came into the top ten and spent a couple weeks then dropped out for two weeks.  Who did I think I was?  Dude was quickly back in, and has now been in the top ten for a grand total of five weeks.  “Wetta” is up to number two, and we all know by now that this is the follow up to “Get It Wet.” Home town veteran to the Hip-Hop game with his own label.  And ya don’t stop!

• “Never Ever” by Ciara featuring Young Jeezy fell from number six to number eleven this week.  It spent eight weeks in the top ten, with four of those weeks consecutively at number four.

Okay, I’m gonna allow this song to enter my top 10 this week.  Songs like this make me say things that my parents used to say like,”Well, the kids like it.”  But, I ain’t gonna hate this time… just get up and do the damn dance with everybody else. Up one spot this week to number nine is The Dream with the remix to “Rocking That Thang.” What R&B artist wouldn’t love to have one of their releases turned into a jam where popular rap artist freestyle, and they sing the hook.  Always works as far as I can recall.  Second week in the top ten for The Dream.

Twista is back the top ten!  His jam “Wetter” was in the top ten for two weeks about a month ago.  He fell out for a couple weeks, and now leaps back up four places to land a number eight this time around.   This is the part two to “Get It Wet.” Twista has recently got a new distribution deal.  Still in the game after like 20 years.  Third week total for this jam in the top ten.

Kanye West moves up one more spot to number seven with his latest single, and tripped out ass video.  Cain’t say it ain’t creative, though it could possibly be very annoying to watch.  But the kids like it :)  Fourth week in the top ten for “Welcome to Heartbreak” by Chicago’s own Kanye West.

T.I. and Justin Timberlake have a popular song for popular music today.  Something about this combination automatically makes me wanna hate.  Once again, here’s a song that made the top ten after much hesitation.  Okay, I’m hatin’ after all.  Third week in the top ten for “Dead and Gone.”

T.I. again …huh?  Last week’s number on song has fallen four places this time around and lands at number five.  Nine weeks in the top ten for “Swaggar Like Us” as this is another cut full of Hip-Hop rock stars and whatnot.  Nine weeks in the top ten is incredible, but I hear there’s a song out there that’s been on even longer…

Keri is still hanging around the top of the charts this week with the jam that has brought her to the forefront in the R&B world.  This jam has been the top ten for ten weeks, and that’s longer than any other jam this time around.  “Turning Me On” features Lil’ Wayne, and it also spent two weeks at number one, which solidifies it as a hit.

Beyonce moves up one more spot to number two with her little sexy-ass.  I know she’s married.  I know she’s America’s favorite daughter.  But she’s still sexy.  That’s coming from a former Beyonce hater.  Six weeks in the top ten for “Diva,” and it get’s the ladies on the floor… as all Beyonce songs seem to do.

The ten-spot this week is being held down by ya boy Kanye West.  This is the dope Hip-Hop producer from the CHI, however the Best Week Ever has been cracking me up as they mess with Kanye and give him a hard time.  They gave five reason that Kanye wants to do Bi-sexual porn (click here), and my ass was rolling on the floor laughing out loud.  It was too funny for me to abbreviate.  First week on the top ten for “Welcome To Heartless.”

Number 9

Up one spot this week to number nine is Musiq Soul Child as he gets a little help from Mary J. Blige.  Second week in the top ten for “IfULeave.” No that ain’t no typo (this time), that’s how they spelt them joints.  On the real.  BTW, I just though these youngsters were cute.

Number 8

Jamie Foxx is back up in the spot with his second straight top ten appearance.  This time, he’s accompanied by T-Pain and his auto-tunes singing ass.  I ain’t even gonna waist anymore energy hating on that dude.  Just gonna big up J-Fox as he continues to do the “A-list” thing like a champion.  “Blame It” on the alcohol they say.  First week in the top ten.

Number 7

Number seven this week is my girl Beyonce, whose no stranger to the top ten herself.  Every time I hear a new jam by “Bey,” I feel like I’ve heard it all before.  Low and behold, it grows on me quickly.  This one is called “Diva,” ya dig?  Third week in the top ten on this trip.

Number 6

The six-spot all belongs to Ciara this week with her joint “Never Ever” featuring Young Jeezy.  This one here is still trying to grow on me.  Young Ciara and Young Jeezy ain’t jump out at a brah at first, but it is hanging strong in it’s fourth week in the top ten.

“Got Her Own” by NEO featuring Jamie Foxx is down one more spot to number five this week.  This song no doubt has been in the top ten longer than any other song this week.  This former number one jam still makes a dude bob his head, and it gives us single, never been married, no kids having brotha’s some hope! :)  It’s just a good-ass song man!

Number 4

Q-Tip basically exchanged places this week with Jamie Fox and NEO.  The former lead vocalist from A Tribe Called Quest is up one more spot with his jam “ManWomanBoogie.” The Abstract Poetic has a CD out right about now as we all know, and I’m personally happy to see somebody from “my time” still doing it 20 years later.  Wow… my 20 year reunion for high school is coming up.  I’m old.  Anyway, this is the upbeat joint that makes the people’s head bob.  Five weeks in the top ten so far.

Number 3

“Swagger Like Us” manages to hold steady at number three this week.  Six weeks in the top ten for T.I.Kanye produced joint featuring Kanye West, Jay Z and Lil Wayne.  Not a bad line up if I may say so, and not a bad song to go along with it.  I ain’t looked it up, but it does sound like a Kanye produced joint.

Number 2

Last week’s number one song has finally falling from the top ranking after and incredible four week run at the top.  “Pop Champaign” still gets the party jumping, and it lands at number two this week.  Jim Jones ain’t no punk when it comes to hood music, and he ain’t showing no signs of slowing down.  You’d betta ask somebody.

• Keyshia Cole featuring 2Pac - “Playa Cardz Right” fell outta the top ten after seven weeks.  It peaked at number two.
• Eminem featuring Dr. Dre and 50Cent - “Crack a Bottle” dropped after a three week run.  It peaked at number six.

This week’s top ten starts with Chicago’s very own Twista.  First week in the top ten for his latest jam “Wetter.” Yes’ sir… it’s “Get It Wet” part II in effect, just like you may have guessed.  What I like most about this dude is that he stayed in the game for a long time before he actually “made it,” meaning the crossover crowd recognizes his name.  All that, and he still very much lives in the Chi.  May see him anywhere at any given time.  First week in the top ten for “Wetter.”

Number 9

Q-Tip has the other new joint to the top ten this week, and he lands at number nine with his most recent release that is sure to keep the dance floors packed.  “ManWomanBoogie” is the latest abstract rhyme from the Abstract Poetic.  “Minimum wage and an internet page…” and shit.  Is he talkin’ bout me? :)  This has a very nice beat, and with Tip’s voice this is sure to rock the spot many of nights.  Old girl who is singing the hook ain’t bad.  I’ll hit that.  What’s her name again?  Amanda Diva?  She’s now on my list of females I wanna fuck

Number 8

Jaime Fox holds steady at number eight this week in his third week in the top ten and shit.  “Just Like Me” continues to get airplay for the singer slash Oscar winning actor slash comedian.  I gotta mention again that this video post is a nice mash up of Jamie, Bun B, Aaliyah, Mariah Carey and T.I. It’s worth a peep if you haven’t seen it yet.  Three weeks in the top ten.

Number 7

Common drops three more places to number seven this week with “Universal Mind Control.” That’s all good, cause when you’re on the top, there is no place to go but down.  This jam earned one week at number one, and has now been in the top ten longer than any other song this week.  “…and ya don’t stop!”

Number 6

Number six this week goes to my-dude T.I., as he gets a little help from Kanye West, Jay Z, and Lil Wayne I think. Not a bad roster to toss out to the radio stations and dance floors. We have more than one “Tip” on the countdown this week, so we gotta be specific. The other “TIP” was Q-Tip, but this “T.I.P.” is T.I. Second week in the top ten for “Swagger Like Us.”

Luda falls two places with “One More Drink.” This cute song apparently peaked at number three last week, unless something happens to change that. Gotta like a song about beer goggling… we’ve all done it at some point in growing up. Yes, men as well as women. If it weren’t for beer goggling, there would be as many good stories to tell as one kicks back with his or her friends. That’s what Luda attempts to do in song with this one. Down two to number five this week.

Number 4

Up three places this week is old girl who doesn’t like it when new people feel on her booty. How stuck up is that? Keri featuring Lil Wayne is all the way up to number four this week “Turn Me On.” All the way at number four in only it’s third week in the top ten. That’s a good sign for all of the Keri fans. She’s getting some airplay to go along wit it all as well. I ain’t mad her.

Number 3

Keyshia Cole is all the way up to number three this week with 2Pac. “Playa Cards Right” is honestly a good song, and the fact that Keyshia Cole is like around the very top of the list of chicks I wanna bone has nothing to do with them being at number three. This song is at number three, in spite of that reality show where her biological moms and sister get on my freakin’ nerves every time I try to watch. How many times do we have to listen to them complain about her moms being on drugs before. Sheesh. I turn to a different station every time, but I still wanna hit that

Last week’s number one song has fallen one place to number two this trip. Jamie Fox and NEO no doubt earned the number one spot last week, and they are managing to stay near the top again this week. Definitely one of my favorite songs out right now. Ooo-wee… to one day meet and hook-up with a girl like the one they sing about. “Swagger Like Us” leaps into the top ten this week, and it lands at number ten.  Kanye West, Jay Z, TIP and Lil’ Wayne came together to make this crank, and it lives up to all the hoopla.  First week in the top ten for the T.I. jam with all the rock stars on it.

Number 9

“Single Ladies” fell a six places this week to land at number nine this week.  Don’t be upset though if this is still your jam, cause it had a nice-ass run at the top ten as it spent three weeks at number one, and it has been in the top ten longer than any other song.  Plus, it’s still number one on the pop charts.  Ain’t mad at ya “B!”

Number 8

Jamie Fox is up one place this week with his latest release and shit.  Second week in the top ten for “Just Like Me.” Everybody out there by now should know that Jamie can blow.  He was doing that before he was acting or making us laugh.  That dude has to be on top of the world right about now… to come from the brotha sportin’ a curl in the high school yearbook, to an “A-List” celebrity.

Up three places this week is Keri with “Turn Me On.” Personally, I like to walk up to women that I’ve just met and grab their ass.  I’m an artist at it.  The hard part is ducking outta the way when the slap comes around.  A real pimp leans all the way back in slow motion, and dodges the slap like the Matrix :)  Two weeks in the top ten so far for this one.

Kanye West holds steady at number five this week with “Heartless.” The producer, turned rapper, turned Auto-tune singer is featured on the cover of the next issue of Vibe Magazine.  They got him on there looking ruff-than-a-mug with a grey-ass beard and his mini-fro is outta wack.  What’s up with that?  Of course he cried about it on his blog.  If nothing else, this dude is funny.

Luda is at number six this week on DJ Special Blend’s Top 40… in spite of his song featuring T-Pain :)  I was trippin’ on how they’re gonna make a song that seemed to promote drunk driving, but after seeing the video we see that it’s a spoof or comedy act of some sort.  I guess that’s okay.  Number six this week is “One More Drink.”

Oh no, “B” has fallen from the number one spot.  “Single Ladies” lands at number three this week after being at number one for an impressive three weeks.  I actually am finally starting to like the song, and I once again want to have sex with Beyonce.  I liked her in Cadillac Records.  In fact, I liked that entire movie.  Learned allot as well.  This song has been in the top ten longer than any other song this week.

Man, this is a jam.  That Jamie Fox man… I keep tryin’ to tell ya!  “She’s Got Her Own” is like the remix to “Miss Independent” I think.  Very nice idea for a song, plus this is another little jingle that females like to use as their theme song.  All that, with a nice melody to top it off.  Neyo is all the way up to number two.
