         <title>Creative Thinking &amp; Contemporary Art - DLD at Berlin</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Within the frame of the gallery weekend in Berlin, DLD celebrated the opening of <a href="http://www.about-change-collection.de/">About Change Collection’s</a> second run “Chapter One”, on 1st May 2008.</p>

<p>Collection owner <a href="http://www.dld-conference.com/2008/01/christiane_zu_salm_1.html">Christiane zu Salm </a>(Burda’s CEO of Crossmedia) as well as DLD-hosts <a href="http://www.dld-conference.com/2008/01/stephanie_czerny.html">Steffi Czerny </a>and <a href="http://www.dld-conference.com/2008/01/dr_marcel_reichart.html">Marcel Reichart </a>welcomed about 80 old and new DLD-friends, artists, collectors, Berlin VIP’s and business leaders to this exclusive reception. Top-class managers will speak about the chances and challenges of digital marketing and online-business.          <description><![CDATA[<p>A financial support by <a href="http://www.ptv.com/">Prime Technology Ventures</a> shall enable <a href="http://www.sellaband.com/">SellaBand</a>, a german company with domicile in the Netherlands, to expand to the US market. Founded in 2006 the company already opened an office in New York. Since last year SellaBand already cooperates with <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_/026-3088555-2406055?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=sellaband&Go.x=0&Go.y=0&Go=Go">Amazon </a>UK. Glam bunches over 450 online-publishers in the women-affine topics, optimizes their content and traffic and markets them to companies.          <title>Meet at Clift</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>When we stayed at <a href="http://clifthotel.com/clift_hotel_redwood_room.asp">Clift Hotel in San Francisco</a> last week, we had a spontanous little DLD get together. Loic Le Meur came by who moved there to build his new video venture <a href="http://seesmic.com/">Seesmic</a>. He just raised 6 Mio. Dollar and opened his first video studio. Niklas Zenström stopped over on his way to <a href="http://ted.com/index.php/pages/view/id/48">TED conference</a> (very good coverage at <a href="http://giussani.typepad.com/loip/">Bruno Guissani's Blog</a>). David Rothschild meet with his team to engineer his plastic-boat to cruise his <a href="http://english.martinvarsavsky.net/general/david-de-rothschild-on-plastiki.html">plastiki tour </a>later in the year which he will start in SanFran. And <a href="http://weigend.com.s33043.gridserver.com/">Andreas Weigend</a> just came of an interesting Google workshop. It was great seeing them and catch up on news.</p>

         <title>DLD at Plaza</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>We had the privilege to host a DLD cocktail at the soon to be opened <a href="http://theplazaresidences.com/pied_a_terre/index.php?">Plaza Hotel</a> in New York last week. Pictures will follow soon. The famous hotel is so much part of Big Apple's history, placed iconically at Central Park South and Fifth Avenue. Nowadays, the Apple Store is just opposite and we went there by night. It shimmeres a little like a graal and you step down to immerse into the Apple world.</p>]]></description>
