A professional photo session tailored to your unique personality is a great way to celebrate your senior year!  Each of the sessions this year have been as individual as the seniors themselves, and all have been a lot of fun.  Here’s a peek at one recent session… more to come!

A couple of weeks ago, on a beautiful mid-September afternoon, I went on a beach outing to photograph a family who was celebrating their son’s first birthday.   I’m so happy that they will have these photographs to look back on when he’s 5, 10…20 years old and beyond, to help them remember the little boy who first stole their heart.

It’s been a busy time of year, so I haven’t gotten to share much from our fall sessions.  These are some from a fun morning outdoors;  I’m so glad they came back to visit me again this year!

…and when it comes to treats, there’s nothing I like better than clothing and accessories!

With my fall sessions in full swing, I’ve been spending most of my ‘downtime’ on the computer proofing all of the fun images.  But as they say… too much of a good thing, y’know?  I get so focused on what I’m doing that I don’t remember to take a break once in a while.  Today, the mail carrier brought me a little box in the middle of my work day, and I almost set it aside for ‘later’.  But who was I kidding… I couldn’t stand the suspense.

I opened the box and was rewarded with my first reversible Tara Armstrong Apparel belt.  It’s handmade by my friend Tara, who recently began selling the belts not only in a Memphis, TN boutique but also online so that we can all indulge ourselves!  Here’s a photo of my belt, but she has many other styles (for adults and children) on her website.    I might have to check it out again tomorrow.  To buy holiday gifts, of course…

When Heather Altobelli of My First Playdate told me that she organizes a weekly activity for new moms and their babies, the first thing I said to her was, “What a great idea! I wish someone had done that when I was a new mom!”  My First Playdate is a great opportunity to connect with other moms.  Heather arranges a variety of relaxing and informative programs, ranging from mom-baby yoga to Q & A sessions with a local Pediatrician.  Over the past year, I have had the honor of meeting many My First Playdate moms at the Stage House Restaurant in Scotch Plains, where they enjoyed a makeover, mom/baby photo session, and yummy lunch.  Here is a sneak peek of the little angels and their moms from this week’s event:
