I'm getting a puppy this summer and I've narrowed it down to these to breeds (although we were looking at Weims too). I've researched a lot online about both breeds but was hoping anyone with first hand experience with either or both can give me some insight. I am looking for a running companion that will be able to keep up with moderately paced runs of up to 10 miles. I'm also looking for easy trainability and desire to please. We have owned dogs before but I wouldn't consider myself a pro trainer or anything. Also looking for a dog that will excel in agility and/or working as a therapy dog. Our son will be 3 when we get him, so obviously being good with kids is a must. Which breed is more cuddly? Vizslas are known as "velcro dogs" but are GSPs cuddly too? Who has more energy?

I noticed my pet dog snoppy only plays with male dogs only, he actually runs the female dogs, I mean he chases them away, and humps his male companions, does this means he is gay? Are there gay animals, please put my mind at ease here.

I have a 3 month old Boston terrier. we have him for about 2 weeks now. we are training him to use wee wee pads when he gets out of his crate. he hardly ever uses them. he pee's and poo's everywhere. today for the first time he eliminated outside, before he was to scared to even walk outside. please help me!

I just started a job with the electric company as a meter reader, which frequently requires me to go into people's back yards, dogs or not. For some reason dogs have always liked me, even shy or usually aggressive ones. However I'm know that some dogs are going to bite no matter what. I'm sure every dog is different and that there's no hard and fast rule, but generally speaking what are some signs that a dog isn't just all bark and no bite?
