I know Erp way, way back since he is a good friend of mine. Among our friends, he was my first “convert” to the photography world. While I was shooting weddings, this guy was shooting models…. and that’s how Aya came in the “picture”.

Aya was one of the models featured in some men’s magazine. Just make a guess.

I suggested that since these two were in the “artists” category, I have the perfect concept for their prenup shoot…. “Adam and Eve”…

The problem was, only one of them was “up” for the challenge. Guess who…

Lovin’ the catchlight in Aya’s eyes…

Before the day ended, God still made the “Adam and Eve” concept possible… He did it in the most unexpected way…

Weddings @ Work Feature for 2011

Recently, my clients have been featured at Weddings @ Work for the Best Weddings of 2011 and Money Shots|”Best of Prenups of 2011″. I believe it was God who made it all possible.

The stories of Capt. Tobias and Lola Nena and the love that their families and friends has shared to them were extraordinarily heart-melting already.

Erp and Aya’s red-orange-peachy skies…That was God’s work.

Now who wouldn’t want to be the Lord’s instrument to create beautiful pictures …

How would I describe my year 2011? …Totally Awesome…

Looking forward to a more rockin’ 2012…

I once met Kristine from her brother’s wedding and Ryan was there taking pictures of their family. Didn’t know that just a few years later, these guys are getting hitched as well.

Fast forward to this day, everything went perfectly as planned. We had lots of time to shoot for preps and for our portraits and it must’ve been easier because of the people I was working with. Glad to be working with two of the most sought wedding suppliers of 2011. *wink*.

Here’s an interesting fact about Ryan and Kurly… Early in their relationship, Kurly told Ryan that she never wanted to receive roses because she finds these too typical. So Ryan squeezed his creative juices (or relied on his suki – Flower Farm in Alabang) to give Kurly different kinds of flowers. There were times when Ryan gave Kurly lisianthus, more commonly known as paper roses, which she really loved. But on her wedding day, the flowers requested by the bride for her bouquet are roses. (She really wanted English roses, but since these are difficult to source, Eduardian roses will do)

In this world, it’s already a rarity to see Marriages that lasts more than 20, 30 or 40 years. Heck, watching media alone, divorce and separation are very common like changing clothes. (Okay, that might be a little exaggerated)

Point is, when we see celebrations of LOVE like these…I feel that it is just “a right thing” that we must honor the people who stayed committed to their vows in front of God and their loved ones.

Congratulations to Capt. Romulo Tobias and Lola Nena Tobias for 50 years of holding, keeping and cherishing their commitment to each other.

Aerick and Eileen met as friends during High School. Fate brought them together after college and it’s God who destined them to finally be engaged. You can easily spot love when you look in a person’s eyes. That’s why there must be truth in the saying our “Eyes are the windows to our soul.”

But don’t take my word for it, just look at them…

PS. We had this session on Aerick’s ancestral house at Batangas and we had an awesome time shooting and EATING… Yum!

This is the story of Nevo and Leanne… Fate brought them together during a common friend’s party. Back then, Nevo already had eyes set out on her. His efforts on asking out Leanne did not go in vain since these two dated already after a year. After several months, Nevo was ready to leap and create a new milestone for their relationship. He proposed to Leanne while they were in the Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco.

(Disclaimer: Nevo gave the hotline number to Leanne for those people who plan to commit suicide. A hint that Nevo won’t take No for an answer…. Crazy Guy! haha )

So Leanne said “Yes”. LOL.

So it’s almost 2012 already and what a treat, I’m on the Weddings at Work 2012 Desktop Calendar. The theme for 2012 is Green and 11 other photographers were featured. I’m on December 2012.

This is just another milestone for my journey as a wedding photographer and a testimony on how God has blessed me all throughout.
