One of the debates was about NASA and Dom did a video in agreement for a pro-UFO video blog (created under the proposition that NASA is hiding the truth about ) on YouTube:

It's hard to know if Dom really thinks this or if he just hears a good ear worm when he hears one.

Dom is supposed to appear on Austin's 101X this morning. Fortunately, they have a podcast.

There have been no mentions of the Fantastic Feud event last night at all.

For Next Movie, Dom played the porn star name game: your first pet's name combined with the first street on which you lived becomes your porn star name.

Dom's porn star name? Chico Makamandag. Dom says:

"It's not good, right? I lived in Germany when I was a kid, so it's a German name for a street. Chico was a leopard gecko. Chico is quite good for a porn name. Makamandag just ruins it. I might do it one day."

The Beatles have just released a greatest hits collection and are using a hash tag to collate Twitter users' favorite song from the collection.

A USA Today article makes note of celebrity responses and quotes Dom's "video response" to the release naming his favorite song as We Can Work It Out. The quote from Dom: "the best of John Lennon, the best of Paul McCartney; check it out."

I have found no trace of this video on The Beatles site or YouTube channel (although I may have missed it) or by general searching. Where could this video have been presented to the public or the press? Anyone know?

According to Variety, WWE Studios currently releases theatrically through Samuel Goldwyn and is also looking for film content for a new television network. There is, of course, no word on how distribution for The Day will actually play out.

Edit: Variety reports that Splendid will distribute the film in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and all German-speaking Europe.

Reviews of The Day from TIFF are generally negative, with blame most consistently credited to the script. While reviews make neutral mention of his character, no review contained either positive or negative comments about Dom's performance specifically.

The Day has already been picked up for domestic and international distribution by Preferred Content, according to a press release (as parsed by Bloody Disgusting, Blood Central, etc.).

In early June, Wechsler mentioned that Dom was still playing Tommy. Dom announced at the Nerd HQ panel that he had sold a nature show to the BBC and it would film in late 2011.

Dom will be there to support his film The Day, in which he plays "clear-headed leader Rick" in for a stand-off in a post-apocalyptic world.
