Thanks to Huffle, we received a lot of comments in our last post. I am in the midst of writing final exams, so only have time for a quick post for now -- I promise we'll visit each and every one of your blogs once the last exam is out of the way. Donut loves using his back legs. In the first picture, it almost looks as though his leg is fully extended and he is standing like a human being, doesn't it?

Donut and his paws...

He is very "paws-on". I have already been able to teach him how to give me his paw, like Tofu.

Definitely like a little bear.

Well, he doesn't look so little anymore.

We had a lot of guests over last night and everyone was ooh'ing and ahh'ing over Donut and his folded ears + round face. It made for some good socialization. And as usual, Tofu was noted for being "so chill" and going up to everyone for pets. I guess he knew he had some serious competition against Donut and decided to step up his game.

I find it rather difficult to get any work done with a face like this constantly staring at me and watching my every move.

In colder days, the closest thing to the sun is a warm lamp to bask under.

I like to think he's trying to be helpful by keeping me company while I work.

Someone mentioned to me that Scottish Folds always have a look of horror when they're concentrating on something.

Never noticed it before, but I'm beginning to think it's true.

There two are seriously almost inseparable at this point.

In fact, we had to bring both Jemma and Tofu to the vet today to have some routine procedures done, leaving Donut by himself and we were worried about what he might do to himself once he realized he was at home *gasp* alone!

He needs company, period, whether it be another four-legged animal or a person.

True to his breed, he already loves lying on his back, exposing his boy bits in the process.

P.S. Tofu sleeps a lot. He's asleep in 99.9% of the pictures on here! :)

the color blue

My color is something called “blue smoke”. This means that I have a solid blue (gray) coat with white roots. You can see my white roots if you part my fur. My beautiful mama cat is a solid blue.

Mommy used to have a very cute lop-eared rabbit who was solid blue, too.

I think she probably really likes the combination of the color blue AND folded/lopped ears!

I can’t believe how close they’ve gotten in just a little more than two weeks.

They’re getting closer and closer daily to becoming inseparable. Donut is very social and will meow his little head off if none of the humans or Tofu is with him. Someone must be with him at all times.

Apparently they like spooning each other now, too.

He seems to be only as big as his daddy’s shoe, which really isn’t that big. I must admit — although kittens are cute, I can’t wait for him to grow up. I like my cats big & cuddly!

My sister had a pet Loofa dog whom she dearly loved.

She passed it onto my brother. He accidentally ripped off Loofa’s tail one day, whoops.

And now my brother is nice enough to give his pet dog to me!

Don’t worry brother, I will take good care of him.
