      Last Monday Ash killed all the power in our house by plugging in an old dryer. We were out of power for about 3 hours, which was boring and annoying. It was a free service for them to fix it and it took the electrical guy about 30 seconds of his time to replace the main fuse to our house.

Anyway after that I thought to myself how annoying it is to be without electricity and then realised that it had been awhile since I had last seen an electricity bill. I emailed the electricity company and asked when our next bill was due as it had been some time since we had paid one.

I received the following today:

<blockquote>The following invoices have been issued to you yesterday for your electricty account at .House:

<ul>
<li>$189.03 for the period 11 September 2006 to 24 October 2006</li>
<li>$323.28 for the period 24 October 2006 to 25 January 2007</li>
<li>$334.74 for the period 25 January 2007 to 27 April 2007</li>
<li>$551.20 for the period 27 April 2007 to 26 July 2007</li>
<li>$612.90 for the period 27 July 2007 to 29 October 2007</li>
<li>$463.48 for the period 30 October 2007 to 22 January 2008</li>
<li>$498.13 for the period 23 January 2008 to 26 April 2008</li>
</ul>

When you singed up with ActewAGL in September of 2006 the operator you spoke with put your entry date for this property as the 11/09/2008. Due to this data entry you have not been billed for nearly two years.

I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this matter may have caused you.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your weekend. </blockquote>

It turnes out that we have infact not paid one electricity bill since moving in.

      Well this has been a long time coming, but I don't have any contractual obligation to produce these and I have been side tracked with other things.

Anyway this episode we have Bob and Ash locking Hannah in my room and then Hannah and I getting Ash back. Hannah and Ash play baseball and Moot tries again to tell a funny story.

      This is the second episode for one month, something must be wrong, or I currently have too much time on my hands...

This episode has clips from a little party I had, some people playing with Bob's wii, our clock smashes for no good reason and there is my first attempt at building a BBQ that I got for Christmas. The audio in this isn't the best, but I am sure the 10 people who actually watch this won't complain (well they might complain because I put them on the internet, but at least they won’t complain about the audio).

      This episode contains a party, Bob putting up my new table, Ash's scratch and Hannah and Bob putting together a hose wheel.

I wanted to do more with this episode, but due to our timetables and the fact that this has been finished 2 weeks ago, I though I might as well just post this version as it has already taken too long for it to come out.

I want to say thanks to the people in <a href="http://dot-house.org/vodcast/Pics/japan.jpg">Japan</a>, particularly the <a href="http://www.thegreatwhitesumo.blogspot.com/">Great White Sumo</a> and a person in <a href="http://dot-house.org/vodcast/Pics/NZ.jpg">New Zealand</a> who visited. Bron sent us an email, she said:
<blockquote>"I finally managed to get a dothouse video to work! I was surprised how amusing putting a vacuum cleaner and mowing grass can be!" </blockquote>
I put the Hannah and Bob hose wheel section in for her.

Kick us off an email sometime, its good to hear from you people.

      Episode 2 of .House is out now. In this episode Hannah and Bob try to put together a vacuum cleaner, I mow the back yard plants and we all cut down some trees that were near my power lines to avoid a $5000 fine.

      Well our first episode is up. This was filmed on our moving day and we were pretty tired from cleaning, gardening and moving.

This episode has some people smashing a TV, a red back spider, some blood, before and after shots of my old bathroom, one of the three trips I made to the tip and us dealing with a suspected leak in our washing machine.

The episode is numbered zero as it really isn't produced very well, has no music, introduction or credits and I am still fiddling around with codecs and file sizes. Hopefully the next episode will be neater (but I think it will all depend on how bothered I am)
