1. Network connectivity issues

Go to the official website of MongDB (https://www.mongodb.com) and navigate to the software section where you will find option for Compass GUI for MongoDB,

You will be redirected to the product page as shown below click on Try it now button,

On the next page you will be asked to select the suitable version or package for yourself as there are multiple options available as:

You can select different version but personally I'll recommend you to go with the stable version (for now latest and stable version is 1.26.1).
You need to select your platform/ Operating system like. Windows, RedHat, ubuntu or OSX whatever the platform you prefer.
Third one showing you the package as zip or EXE, this one is depend upon the option you choose with platform.

Select the most suitable option and click on download button.

If you choose to download the zip file then download and extract that file into a folder and find the executable file named 'MongoDBCompass.exe' or if you downloaded the EXE file then just double click on it and it will be install in a few minutes and will be ready to use.

Click on the Get Started button.

Next phase will ask you for the connection string, do not worry about that if you don't have that yet you can always create you new cluster and then generate your connection string just click on CREATE FREE CLUSTER button.

1. Dependencies in View Settings

Launch Outlook and open the View tab.
Click View Settings.
In the Advanced View Settings window that opens, select Reset Current View.

Select OK in the dialog box.

2. Misconfigured Cache Settings

If you are using an IMAP or MAPI email account, your emails are downloaded from live mailbox to the local system. In most machines, Outlook retains emails for one year. This means only emails of the past one year are stored on the local machine. If you are searching for emails older than one year, you have to change the settings. For this, follow these steps:

Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
In the Account Settings window that opens, select your email account and click Change.
Under Download email for the past, pull the slider all the way to the right, and then click Next.

Click Done.

Now, Outlook will download all emails from your Exchange mailbox to the local system.

3. Oversized PST File

In Outlook 2010 and above versions, OST and PST files have a preconfigured limit of 50 GB. If the Outlook data file is close to this limit or has exceeded this limit, you may face difficulties in receiving new emails. Due to this, you may face Outlook 2016 new emails not showing in Inbox or similar issue in other Outlook versions.

To resolve this issue, you need to reduce the size of Outlook data file. For this, follow these steps:

Delete all unwanted items from the Deleted Items folder.

Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings and open Data Files tab.

Select the mailbox file and then click Settings.

Click Compact Now and then click OK.

You can also use Outlook’s Mailbox Cleanup utility to reduce file size. To find this utility, go to File > Tools > Mailbox Cleanup.

4. Corrupted PST

If the PST file is corrupted, it can cause the problem of Outlook not showing all emails. However, you can easily repair the PST file with Outlook’s built-in Inbox Repair tool ScanPST.exe.

If the PST file is severely corrupted or large-sized, ScanPST may fail to repair the file. You can use an advanced Outlook PST recovery tool such as Stellar Repair for Outlook in that situation.

Full And Differential Backup Using SSMS

In this article, we will see 'How to Create a SQL Server Database backup'.

Database backup using SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server provides a large number of options to create backups. We will discuss here FULL BACKUP and DIFFERENTIAL BACKUP.

FULL BACKUP:

The most common type of backups is the full backup, in this type of backup, it creates a full backup of your database and also includes the transaction logs into backup.
We can create it by using SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio),

Let's Consider this example :

T-SQL :

This will create a full (Complete) backup into .bak file of the given database you can try this

BACKUP DATABASE DotNetKida TO DISK = 'D:\DotNetKida\Backup\DotNetKida.BAK'

SQL Server Management Studio(SSMS) :

Open Your SSMS and select the desired database and right click on the database name SELECT Tasks > Back Up...

Select Full as Backup Type, select Disk as the destination and then click on Add button to add the directory where the backup will be stored on your disk.

Select the destination for the backup

Click on ok and again ok on the next screen and the backup progress will be started.

DIFFERENTIAL BACKUP:

Now the question is what is the differential backup?

Another option to create a backup is Differential backup. Differential Backup is the backup of the changes has made after a recent full/ Complete database backup.

Let's Consider this example :

T-SQL :

This will create a differential backup into .DIF file of the given database you can try this

BACKUP DATABASE DotNetKida

TO DISK = 'D:\DotNetKida\Backup\DotNetKida.DIF'

WITH DIFFERENTIAL

SQL Server Management Studio(SSMS) :

To create a differential backup just follow the same step as above, there is one difference only select Backup Type Differential instead of Full as shown below.

Some Notable Points:

The Backup statement is not allowed in an implicit or explicit transaction.
Backups created by the recent version or higher of SQL Server cannot be restored in earlier or lower version of SQL Server.
Check the size of a full database backup by using the sp_spaceused.
For a large database, the process may take more time and more disk space consider a full database backup with a series of differential database backups.
Creating a new differential backup always requires a recently full database backup. If the database has never been backed up, then first you have to run a full database backup before creating any differential backups.

Boxing is the conversion of a value type (stack) to a Object type (heap).

Boxing is implicit.

In the following example, the integer variable a is boxed and assigned to object b.

Unboxing is the conversion of a Object type back to a Value type. Unboxing is explicit. We have to cast explicitly.

Enum is a value type data type.
Enum is used to declare list of named integer constant.
It is defined from base class System.Enum

Understanding Access Modifiers in C#

Access modifiers define the accessibility of objects and all of their members, all objects and members have access modifiers implemented, even if it's not stated the default access modifier is applied then.

Access Modifiers Types

There are four access modifier keywords and combinations of access modifier keywords that we can apply to an object or member such as a field or method.

Private Access Modifier :

Using the private keyword we apply a private access modifier to an object, those Objects are accessible only inside a structure or a class. As result, it can’t be accessed outside the class/ structure:

static void Main(string[] args)

The private protected access modifier is a combination of private and protected keywords. We can access members inside the containing class or in a class that derives from a containing class, but only in the same assembly. If we try to access it from another assembly, we will get an error.

public class ChildClass: ParentClass

MAX( ) is an aggregate function that returns the largest (Highest)

value of that column, it takes column name as an argument.

EXISTS Operator in SQL

The EXISTS operator is used to check the existence, it is a logical operator that returns true or false only.

We can use them within IF or Sub Queries.

USING WITH IF :

IF EXISTS (

In the above query EXISTS will return true and query will return all data without any condition or filter.

CASE

CASE statements are used to create different outputs (Usually in the SELECT statement).

It is SQL's way of handling if-then logic.

Usage of COUNT in SQL

In this article we will see the 'Usage of COUNT in SQL'

COUNT is an aggregate function in SQL Sever. It returns the number of records returned by a select query.

COUNT function works in SQL Server (starting with 2008 to latest version), Azure SQL Database and many other database also.

COUNT always returns an integer (INT) value as result.

Let's learn use of COUNT() function in SQL Server with an example

Syntax of the COUNT() function:

COUNT([ALL | DISTINCT ] expression)

ALL : ALL is the default, and COUNT() function will applies to all values.

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM [TABLENAME]

DISTINCT : COUNT() function will return the number of distinct (unique) non null values.

SELECT COUNT( DISTINCT [COLUMNAME] ) FROM [TABLENAME]

EXPRESSION : is an expression of any type. You cannot use a sub query or an aggregate function in the expression.
