Download Firefox 3 Mac Theme for Windows

Here is the Mac theme for Firefox 3 on Windows. The toolbars, icons and buttons, all sports the Mac theme and this one works perfectly in Windows. This theme is still experimental, this means you cannot add it directly to Firefox, you will need to login to download and use. (You need to create a login at Mozilla to be able to download Mac theme).

How to Delete a URL from Firefox 3 Smart Location Bar

Firefox 3 has the new way of tracking URLs visited from Firefox with its Smart Location Bar. In case you made a typo while entering the URL, the Smart Location Bar will still remember the URL and show it when you type something related to this. This could be annoying many times, if the typo is of one or 2 letters. You can always delete a URL from the Smart Location Bar with this simple step.

Next time you encounter a wrongly typed URL in the Firefox location bar and you want to remove it from the location bar, then highlight the URL using mouse and press DEL (SHIFT+DEL also works) button on your keyboard and that it, the URL will be deleted.

Fix File Being Deleted At Download Completion In Firefox 3

Some time ago I ran into a huge problem in Firefox 3. whenever I downloaded a file which was not supporting download acceleration and which was downloaded by Firefox is not being saved. I disappears forever after the download completion notification appears. Only a Firefox .part file remains. It also vanishes after you refresh the folder.

this was a huge problem and was getting on my nerves because I depend on Firefox for my daily activities. I even thought to switch to opera, but immediately understood that was even more problematic.

Adobe Reader 9 Released

Adobe’s new reader is out and I was trying out. Although its bigger and more bulkier than Sumatra and Foxit but if you want a PDF reader with all the features you can imagine of, then I advise you to go for the Adobe Reader 9. It has tons of features and even some features you might not ever use. In that case go for the Adobe Reader Lite 9. But I prefer the adobe reader 9 (since its officially adobe). Adobe reader 9 is way better than its previous versions with better startup times and good interface, Here are some good reasons to upgrade yourself.
