Pray for our youth and children’s programmes and community outreach events taking place over the summer months – that good connections will be made and that young and old might find faith in Christ.
Give thanks for the provision of the 412 Centre (the old Busmen’s mission hall), next door to the Jethro Centre, for use as a youth and community outreach space.
Pray for the appointment of a new manager for the Jethro Centre – that the Lord will clearly call the right person to lead the Centre in continuing to work missionally with the parish.
Give thanks for the successful completion of major structural repair works to the parish church costing over £1m. As we move on to a programme of internal reordering and refurbishment, please pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our listening and decision making.

Our Synod for 2024 will take place on Thursday 20 June in St Mark’s Dundela

We pray for Bishop David in his leadership of the diocese and as he delivers his Presidential address to Synod.
For the presence of the Holy Spirit in all the proceedings and that Synod members, clerical and lay, would be guided into wise decisions.
We pray for the mission and unity of the diocese, that we would go forward together with purpose, confidence, and courage.

As summer approaches, give thanks with us for all that God has been doing by His Spirit, among us, in us, and through us; and pray that summer would be a time of rest and refreshment in the Lord, as well as a season of growth for us as disciples.
Please join us in praying for our youth and children’s ministries: for all the plans and preparations that need to be made for summer camps, trips and days out, and our Holiday Bible Clubs in August. We want to point our young people to Jesus.
Our Annual Summer Fayre takes place on Saturday 15 June: pray that it would run smoothly, for good weather, for good crowds attending, and for a good day of building relationships within our church family and across our community.
We’re looking forward to the arrival of our new Rector, the Revd Willie Nixon, and his family, at the end of the summer. Please pray for them as they prepare to move and ask God to fill Willie afresh with His Spirit, to empower and equip him, and to give him a fresh vision for Kingdom ministry here in Banbridge and Seapatrick.

Give thanks for new people coming to church and for some people having come to faith recently.
Give thanks for one of our young people who recently spent a month in Uganda with Stranmillis College and Fields of Life.
Pray for the new Select Vestry, that they will settle into their role and be guided in all they do and that they will continue to develop the planned renovations to the interior of the church.
That our children’s and youth ministry will make the most of the build–up to summer and that the summer schemes will bring blessing to all involved.
Pray that the whole parish will seek God together and be given the grace to follow where He leads.

Pray for Natalie Trainor, Pioneer Evangelist for the Newry Centre of Mission. Pray for God’s blessing upon the healing services, prayer gatherings and evangelistic events that she is involved in organising.
Please pray for the launch of a new worshipping community in Newry in May; that it would be welcoming and inclusive of the wider Newry population.
Pray for the young families connected to the two parishes to be strengthened and supported in their faith journeys and the Sunday School teachers and helpers who partner alongside them.
Pray for plans for a kids Summer Bible Week and other mission activities to come to fruition and for the provision of resources and helpers.

We pray that we as a church would be a source of blessing and spiritual encouragement to the many visitors to Newcastle over the summer months.
Please pray for the adults and young people preparing for Confirmation at the end of May.
Pray for St John’s engagement with the RNLI, Coastguard, Yacht Club, and the Harbour Heritage Association as we prepare for Sea Sunday in June.
Pray for Ashleigh, our Children’s and Outreach Worker, as she prepares for summer outreach activities with children and young families.

GROW is a series of eight teaching evenings taking place from 12–19 May

Please pray for good attendance at these evenings intended to resource our parishes and church plants for growth.
Pray for God’s anointing upon our eight speakers as they offer practical, Bible–based teaching and share their experience with us.
We pray that the Holy Spirit would open our ears and hearts to hear and act upon what he is saying to us in our context.
Give thanks for the teams at our host churches, Willowfield and Dollingstown. May God bless them as they each serve us over four nights.
