Don’t you think her partner Ellen DeGeneres should come out with festoons and paper bombs to announce this exciting news?

Well, DeGeneres might not have had the time to go for such grand announcements, but the lady didn’t forget to mention the whole thing on her chat show.

That’s right, it was a moment of pride for the iconic presenter, who announced and celebrated the occasion by slipping into the dancing shoes and tapping some moves in front of Portia’s image encircled by US flag.

DeGeneres later joked that she had helped her partner clear the test. (She clearly hadn’t; she means it as a joke.)

Anyway, Portia is extremely happy at getting the US citizenship, which means she would have more liberty now. (Not that the Aussie babe hasn’t had the liberty before, but getting an official stamp of US citizenship is an honor for her). And that’s probably why Ellen took to the stage to celebrate the moment.

With more freedom, the couple would try to set an example for those, who propagate racism, and I am sure their relationship would prove more helpful in that case!

Well, Portia’s US citizenship may be one of the best things for her and her partner, for me, her acts in Arrested Development come as more enthralling; I just can’t keep myself off when it comes to talking about her performance on the show.

That’s also the reason why I still have the download of many of Portia’s performances in Arrested Development.

I am sure that it would make both Ellen and Portia’s life easier, as they continue to live together forever.

Come on guys, what has happened to your wits?

Can you imagine someone like Jason pick-pocketing, leave aside the option of being a professional crime lord?

Well, actually, it’s a new comedy project, which would include Jason Bateman as an actor and producer.

And do you know who would play the role opposite him?

None other Bridesmaids sensation, Melissa McCarthy! Interestingly, Melissa’s character would be the one stealing someone’s identity!

Now that is a funny and truly interesting proposition!

I know you would put a very simple counter argument that my views are contradictory. To that, I would like to remind you that Jason is also the producer of the movie, and that way, he is the one who takes control of the so-called identity theft.

I guess, I am making things complicated and should be leaving everything on the audience. I mean, they should get to decide whether Jason is the culprit or the Bridesmaid’s heavyweight is one who is behind the goof-up.

I am an ardent devotee of Jason and have the download of his acts from Arrested Development, since the very first season premiere. And I am in no mood of seeing the comedy movie, which would be a far cry from what is intended – incessant humor and fun.

You know what, when the initial plot was written, the character that had been assigned to Melissa McCarthy role was touted to be played by a guy. But Jason got impressed, when he witnessed a similar act of ID theft in Bridesmaid. That is when he dropped the script and decided to give a chance to Melissa.

I just pray hard that Jason’s decision doesn’t spoil her career!

Well jokes apart, all of us would want to see both the stars bring us an unstoppable series of laugh riots.

And believe it or not, Will has actually got a chance to show the world a slice of his daily life with toddlers at home in the new comedy, Up All Night.

The show, featuring the comic actor as a stay-at-home dad, is slated to hit the screen in September 2011. And I can pretty well assume that during filming, it wasn’t much of a big deal for him to get under the skin of his character.

Anyway, it’s not that he is going to show up as busy father, both on and off-screen. But with a show like 30 Rock at his disposal, we might see him working in shifts.

Surely, this is a situation of up-all-night as well as days that await him!

Poor Will must be feeling like shaving off all his hair, once the shooting for the projects gets over!

Well, jokes apart, it takes a patient man out of a 40 something guy, to raise two kids along with an actor wife.

After his off and on relation with some of the hottest girls of tinsel town, Will Arnett finally settled with Amy Poehler, who is mother to two of his kids.

The couple showed up in the sitcom, and it was certainly a treat to watch them together in Arrested Development. Comedy lovers love to access online feed of their memorable acts even today.

Having mentioned it, I think Will Arnett would have taken his life, had there been Amy Poehler in Up All Night.

If you ask me why, I would like to point that while Will would be busy with two back-to-back shows, Amy would certainly come as a good hand.

Previously, rumors were on about the possible making of a film on the show. And with actor Will Arnett’s confirmation of the same, it’s time for the fans to think about the possible storyline of the movie.

By the way, do you remember that the show was cancelled? And keeping that point in mind, I can assume that the fans, who had never wanted the show to be axed off, would be up for some celebration after hearing the news of Arrested Development movie.

What I simply loved to watch in Arrested Development was the use of hand-held camera. That technique used to bring a feel of realism in the fictional world of Bluths.

I am pretty sure many of the fans still look for online feed of the sitcom to witness that aspect.

Well, it’s not known whether the movie would use the shaky camera effects or not. But I can assure you that once the movie gets completed, Mitchell Hurwitz, the man, who actually conceptualized the comedy show, would have his dream come true.

Fancy this – a creator, whose show had been cancelled, would have it back, and in a big way this time!

Not just him, many of his admirers would shower words of praise for his belief in himself.

The much-anticipated movie version is slated for a release in the next year. And even though it’s quite some time, we have to play the waiting game to witness how this movie fares.

I would like to find if any twist for the crazy Bluth family would come up in the film. Another thing to watch out for is, if the star cast would remain the same as it was in the sitcom.

And the screen sensation didn’t shy away from having a go at it, during one of her interviews for VegNews’ July/August issue.

According to her, it’s easy to maintain a lesbian relationship than being a vegan. Is it really so, Portia?

Well, I don’t know what she was trying to hint at, when she complained that people feel more uncomfortable dining with a vegan than being in a same-sex relationship.

Was it something about Ellen, which she was trying to convey through her statement?

Well, maybe!

But the fact that both of them have been able to maintain the relationship from 2008, the reasoning stands contradictory.

However, despite of all the prejudices, she is not someone, who would easily give it up. I think I won’t be mistaken, if I draw a similarity between her and the Bones actor, Emily Deschanel.

Emily vowed to follow her vegan diet, when she was at the threshold of attaining motherhood! I won’t be surprised if Portia becomes hell-bent on becoming an Emily during her pregnancy. But for that Ellen would have to find a guy, who is willing to donate his sperm!

Anyway, that’s a different story. And we are dealing with the present status of Portia de Rossi.

Undoubtedly, her professional life is simply rocking, and most of her fans simply love to download her acts in Arrested Development. As for her bonding with Ellen DeGeneres, how long will it last?

Well, it looks like he has something different at hand this time, and Shawn and Gus are going to bust yet another crime. It hasn’t been confirmed if the owner of the export-import business, the character that would be played by Tony, would be a badass or not.

Nonetheless, it would be interesting to watch!

Apart from the Arrested Development star, there is one more face that is quite the favorite in the online world, and would be seen keeping Shawn and Gus busy in the upcoming season. Well, he is Jason Priestley, of 90210 fame.

Having good experience at playing comic roles, Tony Hale must be all gung-ho to have a blast with James Roday and Dulé Hill. And I just can’t wait to expose myself to the unstoppable humor.

Tony’s change in avatar is something that would spur up all the diehard Arrested Development followers. It’s mainly because playing a guy with a childlike behavior, and managing a boisterous business are two completely different things.

I am sure that comedy lovers often browse the internet to catch a glimpse of Buster. And why shouldn’t they? He was one of the lead characters, who ushered all the unpredictable and errant circumstances in the sitcom.

And he might be doing the same business in Psych.

The announcement has come as a bolt out of the blue, with speculations being made on why the couple has taken this drastic decision.

The reason seems to be pretty evidently, security concerns, which have been looming over the residence, ever since the alleged attack, back in February, this year.

However, it may also be possible that this is just another one of Ellen’s attempts at the real-estate business, which she’s been involved in, on previous occasions.

The couple purchased the sprawling mansion from the co-creator of the famous sitcom, ‘Will & Grace’, Max Mutchnick and partner, Erik Hyman, back in 2007.

The price that they paid for the spectacular house was $48 million at that time.

Jason, who plays the protagonist Michael Bluth in Arrested Development, is a character who constantly tries to keep his family together.

In his real life too, he seems to be a man of emotions and family values as he openly confessed to crying as he watched, Never Say Never.

Jason truly seems to be a simple man, much like his on-screen avatar as Michael.

Jason recently confessed that he almost broke down in tears, the moment he catched Justin Bieber’s movie. Justin’s 3D movie forced him to cry like a small school girl.

The actor went to see this amazing movie with his family, including wife, Amanda, and his four-year-old daughter, Francesca. Jason said that this movie is just out of the world and since it is a 3D movie, it turned all the more realistic.

He said his wife was so moved that she literally removed her glasses to allow tears to flow down her cheeks.

The statement looked all the more emotional as I came to know how the couple was moved by the movie. It was such an emotional experience that when he looked at his wife, she was in tears and the pair set holding hands!

The actor says that he is now a big fan of Justin Bieber and won’t mind being called, Belieber. This tearjerker made him realize the reason of her daughter’s never ceasing Justin-fever.
