If you haven&#8217;t had a chance to try it out the latest version of Android you can install the OS in VirtualBox. This is a great way to try out Android without having to buy an Android device. Here is <strong>how to install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox</strong>.</p><h2>Perquisites to Install Jelly Bean in VirtualBox</h2><p>Before we install Android Jelly Bean in VirtualBox we first need to get some items.</p><p>1. Need to download and install <a title="VirtualBox" href="https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads">VirtualBox</a>.</p><p>2. Need a copy of <a title="Android ISO" href="http://code.google.com/p/android-x86/downloads/list">Android 4.2 ISO</a>.</p><p>The Android 4.2 ISO will take some time to download. After you get everything downloaded and installed we are now ready to begin. My install will be Android inside of Mac OS X using VirtualBox. The tutorial will work with Windows 7 and Ubuntu.</p><h2>Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox</h2><p>After getting all the perquisites ready you are now ready to install Android in VirtualBox. Launch VirtualBox and click the New icon. This will create a new virtual machine.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7183" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -1" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-1.png" width="243" height="97" /></p><p>After clicking New the Create Virtual Machine window will open. From here you will want to give your new virtual machine a name. Select the Type as Linux and the Version as Other Linux. When you are all done click Continue button.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7184" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -2" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-2.png" width="638" height="409" /></p><p>Next you will be asked to select the amount of RAM for your virtual machine. Since Android doesn&#8217;t require to much, you can use 512 MB. When you are done selecting the virtual machines memory size click the Continue button.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7185" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -3" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-3.png" width="640" height="406" /></p><p>The next step is to create a hard drive for your virtual machine. Select the radio button for &#8220;Create a virtual hard drive now&#8221; and click the Create button.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7186" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -4" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-4.png" width="638" height="408" /></p><p>The &#8220;Create Virtual Hard Drive&#8221; options will open. Here we will select the type of hard drive and the size of the hard drive. From the first screen you can keep the default hard drive type of VDI. Click the Continue button when you are done.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7187" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -5" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-5.png" width="714" height="470" /></p><p>The next step is selecting if you want a fixed or dynamic virtual hard drive. Since Android OS and the applications wont really take up to much space you could select dynamic. Unless you want a fixed disk because of limited space.Either way select the choice you believe is most suited for your situation and click the Continue button.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7188" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -6" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-6.png" width="713" height="469" /></p><p>Last step, before we install Android OS, is to select a name and location for your virtual hard drive. And how much space you want for it. I am going to use 8 GB, but you can use however much you need. Click the Create button when you are done.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7189" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -7" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-7.png" width="714" height="469" /></p><p>After setting up the virtual machine, select it and click the Settings button.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7190" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -8" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-8.png" width="281" height="159" /></p><p>The settings for your virtual machine will open. From the setting menu select the Storage tab. Then select the disk in the left hand corner that says Empty. Over in the right pane in the Attributes group, click the tiny disk icon to get a drop down menu. From the drop down menu select &#8220;Choose a virtual CD/DVD disk file.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7191" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -9" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-9.png" width="854" height="289" /></p><p>A Finder window will open. Navigate to the location you download the Android 4.2 ISO file. Select the Android ISO and click the Open button.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7192" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -10" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-10.png" width="586" height="413" /></p><p>Make sure the Android ISO is now in the left pane under the Storage Tree. When you are ready click the OK button.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7193" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -11" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-11.png" width="567" height="462" /></p><p>Now that we are all done setting up and virtual machine it is time to install Android Jelly Bean in your virtual machine. Click the Green Arrow icon to launch your Android virtual machine. When the virtual machine loads you might get a prompt about auto capturing the keyboard. You can click OK to dismiss the prompt or check the box next to &#8220;Do not show this message again&#8221; and then click OK.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7195" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -13" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-13.png" width="642" height="526" /></p><p>After the Android ISO loads you will be taken to the menu below. Use the key pad to scroll down to &#8220;Installation &#8211; Install Android-X86 to harddisk. Press the Enter key to continue.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7196" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -14" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-14.png" width="641" height="528" /></p><p>You might run across a warning about mouse pointer integration. Just click the OK button to dismiss the prompt. The mouse will not work until we disable mouse integration so for now you will need to use the arrow keys.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7197" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -15" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-15.png" width="715" height="438" /></p><p>The next step to install Android Jelly Bean in VirtualBox is creating a partition for the install. On the Choose Partition screen select Create/Modify partitions. Then press Enter.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7198" alt="Install Android 4.2 on VirtualBox -16" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Android-4.2-on-VirtualBox-16.png" width="720" height="441" /></p><p>You will be taken to the partitioning tool. Even though it is not good to send all your messages in all caps, sometimes you have too. On your iOS device it is very simple to enable caps thanks to the software updates since iOS 5.0. Here is how to quickly enable caps lock on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.</p><h2>Enable Caps Lock on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch</h2><p>To enable caps lock on your iOS device just go to a text field. When you are ready to type double press the shift key until it is blue. When the shift key is blue this means caps are locked. The picture below shows you exactly how your shift key should look.</p><p><img class="alignnone wp-image-7151" title="Enable Caps Lock on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch" alt="Enable Caps Lock on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Enable-Caps-Lock-on-the-iPhone-iPad-and-iPod-touch.jpg" width="682" height="384" /></p><p>To disable caps lock just press the shift key once. The shift key will go back to gray meaning caps lock is disabled.</p><p>Like we said before enabling caps lock in iOS is a new feature to iOS 5. Before iOS 5 you had to go through the  Settings &gt; General &gt; Keyboard and then manually enable the ability to turn on caps lock this way. Now in iOS 5 it is reversed. You enable caps lock by the method mentioned above and disable it by going through the Settings menu.</p><p>Enjoy yelling in iOS.</p></div><div class="feedflare">

Since the menu bar is always there, unless you hide it, it makes perfect since to add applications to get quick information. Here is how to add the weather in Mac menu bar for free with Meteorologist.</p><h2>Weather in Mac Menu Bar</h2><p>To get started you will need to download <a title="Meteorologist" href="http://heat-meteo.sourceforge.net/">Meterorologist</a>. You can get a copy from the link provided. When you go to the link, make sure you download the right version for your Mac.<br /> <a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Weather-in-mac-Menu-Bar-1.png"><img class="alignnone wp-image-7124" title="Weather in mac Menu Bar -1" alt="Weather in mac Menu Bar -1" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Weather-in-mac-Menu-Bar-1.png" width="653" height="379" /></a></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>After downloading Meteorologist you will want to run the installer. The installer for Meteorologist will ask you to copy the app to the Applications folder. You can drag the Meteorologist app directly to the Applications folder in the installer.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Weather-in-mac-Menu-Bar-2.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7125" title="Weather in mac Menu Bar -2" alt="Weather in mac Menu Bar -2" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Weather-in-mac-Menu-Bar-2.png" width="559" height="508" /></a></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Meteorologist will be copied over to the Applications folder. Open the Applications folder and locate the Meteorologist app. If you are running a version of OS X that uses Gatekeeper you might see the Meteorologist app grayed out with a circle and a line through it. Just launch the app, you will be prompted if you want to open the app. Click Open to continue.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Weather-in-mac-Menu-Bar-3.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7139" title="Weather in mac Menu Bar -3" alt="Weather in mac Menu Bar -3" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Weather-in-mac-Menu-Bar-3.png" width="823" height="579" /></a></p><p>When Meteorologist opens you will be taken to the Cities tab. This method is good if you want to try out Ubuntu without too much setup. But if you want more power out of  Ubuntu, you can always dual boot Ubuntu and Mac OSX. Dual booting Ubuntu and Mac OSX gives you the best of both worlds. Ubuntu Linux will utilize all hardware capabilities of your Mac while you still can boot into your Mac OS X environment. Which is very similar to <a title="Complete Guide to Install Windows 7 on Mac OS X Lion using BootCamp" href="http://www.doztech.net/howto/install-windows-7-on-mac-os-x-lion-boot-camp/">installing Windows 7 in Bootcamp</a>. Here is<em><strong> how to install Ubuntu on Mac by dual booting both operating systems</strong></em>.</p><h2>Prerequisites to Install Ubuntu on Mac</h2><p>Before we begin we need to cover some of the prerequisites.</p><p>First you will need enough space to install Ubuntu. Ubuntu requires at least 5 GBs of space. You can always check out <a title="Ubuntu System Requirements" href="https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/SystemRequirements/">Ubuntu&#8217;s System Requirements</a>. Next you will need the right version of <a title="Ubuntu" href="http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop">Ubuntu</a>. If you have a 2006 or newer Mac you will need the 64 Bit version of Ubuntu. If you are unsure you can always look at this<a title="Ubuntu Support Chart" href="https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MactelSupportTeam/CommunityHelpPages"> Ubuntu support chart </a>for help. You can get a copy of <a title="Ubuntu" href="http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop">Ubuntu </a>from their website. Next you will need a blank DVD with enough space to burn the Ubuntu ISO to . Lastly you will need a copy of  <a href="http://refit.sourceforge.net/doc/c1s1_install.html">rEFIt boot manager</a>. This will help in switching between Mac OSX and Ubuntu.</p><p>Don&#8217;t worry if this is confusing we will go over each of the prerequisites to make sure the install go smoothly.</p><h2>Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting</h2><p>To start this process you will need a copy of the latest Ubuntu ISO. You can download them from the <a title="Downlaod Ubuntu" href="http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop">Ubuntu website</a>. Just make sure you have the right version, either 32 Bit or 64 Bit, for your Mac. If you are unsure, if you have a new Mac, 2006 and newer, that uses the UEFI firmware you will need to download the 64 Bit version. If not just download the 32 Bit version. After you start the download find a blank DVD. We will need this to burn the Ubuntu ISO on it.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-1.png"><img class="alignnone wp-image-6842" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -1" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -1" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-1.png" width="809" height="869" /></a></p><p>The download of the ISO will take some time so be patient. After you have it downloaded go to the Menu bar and click Go and select Utilities.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-2.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6843" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -2" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -2" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-2.png" width="559" height="403" /></a></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Utilities menu will open. From here you will want to find the Disk Utility icon. Click on it to open the Disk Utility application.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-3.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6844" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -3" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -3" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-3.png" width="1045" height="617" /></a></p><p>When the Disk Utility Application opens, locate your Super Drive in the left pan and click on it. At the top locate the Burn icon and click on it.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-4.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6845" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -4" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -4" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-4.png" width="854" height="755" /></a></p><p>A Finder window will open asking you to select the image you want to burn. Find the location of the Ubuntu ISO you just downloaded and select it. Click Burn in the bottom right and corner to start the burning process.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6846" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -5" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -5" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-5.png" width="699" height="514" /></p><p>You will be taken back to the Disk Utility with a prompt. From here you can leave the default settings and click Burn to proceed. If you have problems writing data to your DVD you can always chose a lower write speed. Just click the drop down near Speed and select the lowest. When you are ready click Burn to start writing the ISO to your DVD.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-6.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6847" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -6" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -6" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-6.png" width="854" height="755" /></a></p><p>Burning the ISO to your DVD will take some time. You will see a nice little progress bar window. When it is done your disk will be ejected.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-7.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6848" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -7" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -7" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-7.png" width="482" height="262" /></a></p><p>Now go back to your Disk Utility. This time we are going free up some space so Ubuntu can install itself. Select the hard drive you want to use to store Ubuntu and re-size your partitions by dragging the bottom corners until you have enough space for Ubuntu. Ubuntu minimum requirements needs at least 5 GBs of room. So make sure you have enough for Ubuntu to install. After you are done re-sizing your partition click Apply.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-8.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6849" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -8" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -8" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-8.png" width="854" height="755" /></a></p><p>You will be prompted if you are sure about re-sizing your partition. Click Partition to continue.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-9.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6850" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -9" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -9" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-9.png" width="854" height="755" /></a></p><p>After all the partitioning is finished go ahead and close all the disk utility windows. You will now need to download, if you haven&#8217;t down so already, a copy of  <a href="http://refit.sourceforge.net/doc/c1s1_install.html">rEFIt boot manager</a>. Find where you downloaded the copy of it and launch the installer.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-10.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6851" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -10" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -10" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-10.png" width="644" height="368" /></a></p><p>Under the rEFIt DMG file locate the rEFit.mpkg file and double click it to start the install.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-11.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6852" title="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -11" alt="Install Ubuntu on Mac by Dual Booting -11" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Install-Ubuntu-on-a-Mac-11.png" width="551" height="369" /></a></p><p>The Install rEFIt window will open. Automating task in Excel can be easily done by using a macro or with some VBA code. For this tutorial we will show you how to copy cell value in VBA in Excel 2010.</p><p>You will need a copy of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00337D8U6/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B00337D8U6&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=doztech-20">Microsoft Office 2010</a><img style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" alt="" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=doztech-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00337D8U6" width="1" height="1" border="0" /> that has Excel in it. So make sure you do before you proceed.</p><h2>Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel</h2><p>Below I have an Excel workbook that has a few data entered into some cells in column A. You can use a spreadsheet that has data already or just mimic what I have below.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6821" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -1" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -1" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-1.png" width="893" height="613" /></p><p>After you have your workbook all setup we need to go to the Developer tab on the Ribbon. If you do not have the Developer tab on the Ribbon here is <a title="How to Show the Developer Tab in Office 2010" href="http://www.doztech.net/microsoftoffice/how-to-show-the-developer-tab-in-office-2010/">how to setup the Developer tab</a>. After you the Developer tab setup, go to it in the Ribbon. Over to the left will be an icon called Visual Basic. Click the icon to launch the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications window.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6822" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -2" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -2" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-2.png" width="605" height="148" /></p><p>You should see the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications window open. From the Insert menu click on Module to insert a new Module into your workbook.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6823" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -3" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -3" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-3.png" width="480" height="290" /></p><p>After inserting the new Module into your workbook you should see a new folder under the Project menu. Locate the folder and double click on the new Module.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6824" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -4" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -4" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-4.png" width="703" height="529" /></p><p>The Module will open to the right with a blank page. This is where the fun starts. Since we want to copy the data in cell A1 and paste it in cell B1 we will need to type in the following code:</p><blockquote><p>Sub Copy()</p><p>Range(&#8220;A1&#8243;).Select</p><p>Selection.Copy</p><p>Range(&#8220;B1&#8243;).Select</p><p>ActiveSheet.Paste</p><p>End Sub</p><p>&nbsp;</p></blockquote><p>After you enter the code your Module should look like this.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6825" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -5" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -5" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-5.png" width="703" height="529" /></p><p>After entering all the code go to the green play button under the Debug menu and click it. This will run your new code.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6826" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -6" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -6" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-6.png" width="701" height="217" /></p><p>After clicking the play button you should see the results on the active spreadsheet. As you can tell from the picture below, cell A1 was copied to cell B1.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6827" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -7" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -7" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-7.png" width="769" height="331" /></p><h2>Copy Cell Value with a Macro in Excel</h2><p>Besides copying cell value with VBA code you can use a Macro to record you copying a cell and pasting cell values. To do this go to the Developer tab again and click on Record Marco.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6828" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -8" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -8" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-8.png" width="602" height="295" /></p><p>The Record Macro window will open. Here you can give your Macro a name, shortcut key, specify what workbook you want to store it in and also a description for it. When you are done filling out the information click OK to continue.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6829" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -9" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -9" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-9.png" width="348" height="284" /></p><p>Your Macro will automatically start recording all your actions in Excel. Go over to the cell you want to copy and right click on it. Select Copy form the right click menu.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6830" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -10" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -10" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-10.png" width="336" height="249" /></p><p>Next head over to the cell you want to paste the copied data to. Right click on the cell and chose Paste from the right click menu.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6831" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -11" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -11" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-11.png" width="396" height="199" /></p><p>After you are finished with the copying and pasting, click the blue stop button at the bottom of the Excel application.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6832" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -12" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -12" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-12.png" width="406" height="345" /></p><p>Now that your Macro is all recorded lets go back to the Visual Basic application by clicking Visual Basic under the Developer tab. When Visual Basic opens you will notice a new Module under your Project window.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6833" title="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -13" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -13" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-13.png" width="841" height="588" /></p><p>Double click the new module to open it. You will see the code for the Macro you just recorded. You can run the macro by pressing the green play button again.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6834" alt="Copy Cell Value in VBA in Excel 2010 -14" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Copy-Cell-Value-in-VBA-in-Excel-2010-14.png" width="841" height="588" /></p><p>That is it. You now have two ways to copy cell values in Excel using either a macro or VBA. Later we will show you how to assign VBA code or a Macro to a button so you can run your automation a lot faster.</p></div><div class="feedflare">

Since it is a lot easier to deal with than the default file formats in Office. Luckily for us, Office 2010 has conversion tools to convert your documents to PDFs.   Here is how to convert Office 2010 files to PDF using the built in tools in Microsoft Office 2010.</p><h2>Convert Office 2010 Files to PDF</h2><p>To start converting your Office 2010 files to PDF you will need to have Office 2010 installed. You can buy yourself a copy of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00337D8U6/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B00337D8U6&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=doztech-20">Microsoft Office Home &amp; Student 2010</a><img style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" alt="" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=doztech-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00337D8U6" width="1" height="1" border="0" /> from here. After you have it installed you are ready to begin.</p><p>So open up either Word 2010, PowerPoint 2010 or Excel 2010 and go to the backstage. You can get to the backstage by clicking the File button at the top. From the backstage menu click the Save &amp; Send button in the left pane. You will be taken to the Save &amp; Send menu. From here you will see a button at the bottom in the middle pane that says Create PDF/XPS document. Click on that button. Over on the far right pan you will see another button that says Create PDF/XPS. Click on that button too.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6794" alt="Convert Office 2010 Files to PDF -1" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Convert-Office-2010-Files-to-PDF-1.png" width="913" height="637" /></p><p>You will see the publish as dialog box open up. Here you will have the options of converting your document to a PDF. Select the apporipate path and file name and click Publish.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6795" alt="Convert Office 2010 Files to PDF -2" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Convert-Office-2010-Files-to-PDF-2.png" width="844" height="595" /></p><p>When you are all done you will now have a nice PDF file from your Office document. The steps above were shown in Microsoft Word 2010 but you can follow the same steps in Excel 2010 or PowerPoint 2010. Also don&#8217;t forget that you can also <a title="Print Web Page to PDF in Google Chrome" href="http://www.doztech.net/web/print-web-page-to-pdf-in-google-chrome/">print webpages as PDF</a> using Google Chrome. So If you have an Office document online you can use Chrome to save it as a PDF.</p><p>This is how you convert Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents to PDF. If you have another way please share in the comments below.</p></div><div class="feedflare">

But, with a recent update to Chrome we now have built in functions to print web pages as PDFs. Here is how to print web page to PDF in Google Chrome using the built in print to PDF.</p><h2>Print Web Page to PDF</h2><p>To start we will need to make sure you have Google Chrome installed. If you don&#8217;t you can easily download the latest version straight from Google. Just click this <a title="Download Google Chrome" href="https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/" target="_blank">link </a>and download and install Chrome. When you are down open Chrome. Navigate to a website you would like to print as a PDF. Then go to the Menu options and click Print or press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl +P.</p><h2><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Print-Web-Page-to-PDF-in-Google-Chrome-1.png"><img class="alignnone wp-image-6763" title="Print Web Page to PDF in Google Chrome -1" alt="Print Web Page to PDF in Google Chrome -1" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Print-Web-Page-to-PDF-in-Google-Chrome-1.png" width="881" height="242" /></a></h2><h2></h2><p>You will be taken to the Print screen. From replacing your point and shoot camera and even your home computer. But, there is one thing your iOS device cannot do natively. That is open zip files. Here is <em><strong>how to Open zip files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.</strong></em></p><h2>Open Zip Files on the iPhone and the iPad with iZip</h2><p>To begin you will need to make sure you have iZip installed on your iOS device. You can get a copy of it here for free on the Apple <a title="iZip iOS app" href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/izip-zip-unzip-unrar-tool/id413971331?mt=8">App Store</a>. After you downloaded and installed iZip you will have a new icon on your iOS device. Now this is were the unzipping begins.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130021.jpg"><img class="alignnone " title="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -1" alt="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -1" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130021.jpg" width="640" height="206" /></a></p><h2>Open Zip files from Mobile Safari on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch</h2><p>To start open up Safari on your iOS device and browse to a zip file. You will get the Open in screen when you try to download the zip file like before. Instead you will see Open in iZip in the right hand corner. Press Open in iZip to launch your zip file in iZip.</p><p><img class="alignnone " style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;" title="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -2" alt="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -2" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130334.jpg" width="640" height="1136" /></p><p>When iZip launches you will be prompted if you want to unzip the file. Press OK to continue. After the unzip finishes you will see the files that were stored in the zip file. Press a file to see its information.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130104.jpg"><img class="alignnone " title="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -3" alt="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -3" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130104.jpg" width="640" height="1136" /></a></p><p>The iZip application can handle different file types but can&#8217;t handle them all. The above file is one that iZip cannot handle so you will get a error. So just make sure the files are readable before you try.</p><h2>Open Zip files in Mail App on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch</h2><p>Besides downloading the occasional zip file from Safari I personally get more zip files through my email. If you are like me you will probably need iZip to open your zip files. To start find an email that has a zip attached to it. You will want to press the zip file to launch the menu. When the menu opens you will see the iZip icon with the words Open in iZip underneath. Press the iZip icon to unzip your zip file.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130116.jpg"><img class="alignnone " title="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -4" alt="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -4" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130116.jpg" width="640" height="1136" /></a></p><p>After pressing the iZip icon you will be taken to iZip. Just like before with mobile Safari, you will be prompted to extract your zip files. Press OK to continue.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130127.jpg"><img class="alignnone " title="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -5" alt="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -5" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130127.jpg" width="640" height="1136" /></a></p><p>Next you will see a list of all the files contained in your zip file. Simply press on of the files to view it.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130139.jpg"><img class="alignnone " title="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -6" alt="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -6" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130139.jpg" width="640" height="1136" /></a></p><p>You will see the information stored in the file after pressing it. Just remember to be careful about the file types.</p><p><a href="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130147.jpg"><img class="alignnone " title="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -7" alt="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch -7" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20130318-130147.jpg" width="640" height="1136" /></a></p><h2>Open Zip Files on iOS with WinZip</h2><p>Just like iZip, WinZip application lets you <em><strong>open Zip and RAR files on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch</strong></em>. With WinZip, you can browse and view the contents of your Zip or RAR files and extract them. You can even <em><strong>open encrypted Zip files</strong></em>. WinZip works a lot like iZip. So pick your favorite.</p><p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7330" alt="Open Zip Files on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch with WinZip" src="http://www.doztech.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Open-Zip-Files-on-the-iPhone-iPad-and-iPod-Touch-with-WinZip.png" width="640" height="290" /></p><p>That is how to<em><strong> unzip zip files on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch</strong></em>.If you have another way to do this, share it below in the comments.</p> <div class="feedflare">
