Inconspicuously conspicuous!

The world of beautiful and rich people is as fascinating as the popular documentary soap “Die Geissens“ – a reality show aired on television every week. Wherever money rules, it is not unusual to pick cars from the shelf since cars in this case are the perfect status symbol. Bentley Continental, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Maserati Grand Turismo or even Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, you name it: only absolute High-End-Products of the automobile value-creation chain are permitted a space in the domestic garage.

Stealth version à la German Special Customs!

Finishing specialists of the German Special Customs offer a completely newly developed aerodynamic assembly kit with the designation “Stealth” for the current CLS63 AMG generation. Without any impact on the sportive and elegant bodywork lines of the AMG version, they nestled all additional accessories into the outer casing like a second skin. The front looks clearly broader and much more aggressive thanks to a new bumper with an integrated LED daytime running light. The black radiator grill was fitted with the exclusive coat of arms of the German Special Customs as its emblem. A new engine hood with broad shaft ensures appropriate discharge of hot air from the housing of the 5.5 liter V8 Biturbo. The optical broadness is additionally accentuated by a set of new mud guards and new side skirts with shaft. Like the front side, the rear also looks more aggressive than in the serially produced version because the designers of German Special Customs built a completely new bumper with integrated carbon fiber diffuser and air outlets on the sides. A four-pipe sportive exhaust system made of high-grade steel with angular end-pipes was integrated in the diffuser.

A clear message: 750 HP & 1.150 Nm!

In addition to the perfectly showcased new aerodynamic components, the GSC CLS63 AMG was also given a special performance package. In the aftermath of laborious efforts, technicians were thus able to create a remarkable 750 Horse Power (proven on test platform) and a maximum torque of 1,150 Nm from the 5.5 liter engine displacement of the V8 Biturbo. In contrast to the serially produced version of the CLS63 AMG, this makes up after all, an additional performance power of 225 HP!!! To achieve this immense power boost, the technicians gave the V8 Biturbo an additional water cooler for the charge air intercooler in addition to a set of bigger turbo-chargers as well as an exhaust system, which runs backwards from the chargers. The GSC CLS63 AMG is able to achieve the classical sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds thanks to this brute power and attains a maximum speed of almost 350 km/h. To convert the power into propulsion without any major loss of traction, another set of elegant 20-inch rims was provided in addition to a KW coilover with adjustable suspensions on the front axle. The GSC rims on the front axle thus rotate in 8.5×20 inches with a 255/30R20 Continental tire and on the rear, in 10×20 inches with 295/25R20.

Conclusion: This cannot be said to be a stealth technology. Any stealth conversion of this CLS63 AMG will be anything else but unnoticed. The CLS couldn’t be more potently designed! You might get the impression it could be a fictitious Black Series version. The brute power of 750 HP or the perfectly adapted aerodynamic components, you name it: the GSC CLS63 AMG is simply a masterstroke in every aspect!

Lamborghini Aventador “Rabbioso” by wheelsandmore

The successor of the legendary Murcielago sets new standards in the segment of super sports cars and Lamborghini unbridled the Aventador for the boulevards and racetracks of the world. Since the lead time is already more than a year before delivery, the solvent matador got enough time to sort out the exclusive group of luxury tuners and their offfers. Wheelsandmore from Baesweiler in Germnay has been made in this segment for years and earned a name and therefore does´nt stop at Lamborghini´s sharpest weapon.

Serial 700hp and 690nm torque are pulling at the 4 drive shafts of the V12 monster and provide a top speed of 350 km/h. After only 2.9s the sprint from a stand still up to 100 km/h is a thing of the past. Since power can´t be a sin, Wheelsandmore developed a software upgrade, which has been adapted to the higher throughput of the valve-controlled exhaust system and a special carbon fibre airbox. Moderate but effectively the luxury tuner increases the overall performance up to stable 777hp at additionaly 60nm of torque.

Visually, the ultralight forged 3-piece wheel model 6Sporz² convinced again and clings to the front axle in 10,0×20″ with 255/30/20 and on the rear axle in brute 12.5×21″ with 355/25/21 tires from Pirelli perfectly to the body the Lambo. The outside rims are wearing the same new mocha-brown color as the whole Aventador and the weight optimized centers are finished in elegant matte black.

Wheelsandmore presents its tuning program for the coupe and convertible version of the exciting Alfa Romeo 8C series.

With delicate surgery the noble tuner puts the 2-seated V8 coupe in the right light and provides additional driving pleasure and extra horsepower with their high-end quality components.

Due to an ecu upgrade, combined with a hand-made exhaustsystem with remote-able exhaust valves, Wheelsandmore elicits the beautiful sportscoupe additional 30 horsepower and increases the torque around 40nm.

The Alfa Romeo 8C got a further performance improvement through the matte-black, individualized 6Sporz² ultralight forged wheels. The weight-optimized multipiece wheels are sizing 9.0×21 inches on the front axle with tires 245/30/21 and on the drive axle stately 12.5×21 inches with 345/25/21 S1Evo tires from Hankook.

A perfect look and a comfortable everyday use ensures a compression and rebound adjustable coilover suspension, which is also available for vehicles with oem Skyhook suspension. The coilover suspension is offered with a limited 5 years warranty.

The presented conversion was totally wrapped in matte white foil with a red and black Wheelsandmore design stripe. Wheelsandmore internally called their Alfa Romeo 8 C conversion “Senza-Cromo”, because all chrome mounted parts were also swathed in matte black.

BENTLEY READY FOR CLASSIC THOUSAND MILE CHALLENGE

-Bentley Continental W12 and V8 models join historic cars in Italy
W.O. Bentley’s gift for creating cars that combined the speed of a thoroughbred racing machine with an enviable reputation for strength and comfort, allowing them to effortlessly cover hundreds of miles, is set to be underlined once again at the 2012 Mille Miglia when two 4½ litre Bentley Blowers take on the classic 1,000 mile endurance test.

Despite having a combined age of over 160 years, the Bentley Blowers are showing no signs of slowing down. The 4½ litre Supercharged ‘Birkin Blower’ – raced extensively by the legendary Le Mans winner and Bentley Boy Tim Birkin – has already successfully completed the Mille Miglia in 2005 and 2011.

The Birkin’s companion car is one of 50 Blowers built for road use and still appears at Bentley events around the world. It started life in 1930 as one of the company’s first showroom demonstrators and is still performing its fair share of ‘test drives’ eight decades later. Rolf Frech, Bentley’s Member of the Board for Engineering, who is leading the Bentley team at the Mille Miglia comments:

“It is a privilege for the team to drive these remarkable cars at the Mille Miglia as they embody so many of the qualities that set Bentley apart from other marques and W.O. A 1954 company-owned R-Type Continental has also made the journey from England to Italy. Widely regarded as one of the most elegant cars to have sported Bentley’s distinctive ‘Winged B’ emblem, the R-Type was also the world’s fastest four seat luxury saloon when it was launched in 1952 (delivering a top speed of 115mph) and this year marks the car’s 60th Anniversary.

The best of Bentley’s motoring past will be accompanied across Italy by two modern Crewe-built cars – the 6.0 litre W12 Continental GT coupe and the recently launched 4.0 litre V8 GTC convertible – which are playing a pivotal role in cementing Bentley’s position as one of the world’s leading luxury carmakers.

Combining exhilarating levels of performance with all the advantages of a highly sophisticated all-wheel drive system as well as luxurious, handcrafted cabins, today’s Bentley Continentals uphold the marque’s reputation for building cars that can cover great distances quickly and with supreme ease.

Bentley’s newly introduced 4.0 litre V8 engine delivers maximum power of 500 bhp (507 PS / 373 Kw) at 6000 rev/min and an extraordinary peak torque of 660 Nm (487 lb ft) which is available across virtually the entire rev range from 1700 to 5000 rev/min, providing exhilarating performance and effortless power delivery in the Bentley tradition.

Combined with a new close-ratio 8-speed automatic transmission, this translates into a 0-60 mph sprint time of 4.7 seconds for the GTC convertible and a top speed of 187 mph (303 km/h). At the same time, the new V8 achieves outstanding levels of fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions for the luxury sector and is capable of travelling over 500 miles (800 km) on a single tank of fuel.
