A dream of a Mobile Life - That keeps bringing me back to the same place.
This dream was one of those I found myself exploring, and one of those I did remember, or at least pieces of it. It seemed to revolve around a Van I was driving, fully built out for travel with a lot of space in the back, it was an RV or sorts but a bit more compact then the full size ones that drive the roads today. The details are sketchy except for the main parts of the van, where the back was high enough for standing full height and was built out with simple couches, lights, and appliances all well appointed and fitted in the back of the van. I also found myself at a restaurant the first time where a waitress gave me a good experience at the restaurant, and I had come back to that same restaurant. Initially with the idea I wanted to thank her for the best experience on the roadside stop that I had experienced. The thanks though seemed a bit more intimate then you would expect for a patron and a waitress to experience. Where the thanks was in the forms of kisses and hugs. I had stopped by and had her get me a table ready and had walked back out to the van to change my socks which apparently was a big thing then. Thinking I closed the back of the van and closed the back gate, I had turned on the light in the back of the van and was getting ready to put on the clothes. The next moment I saw the tailgate back up and she was laying on the ground like the tailgate had opened back up and she fell on the ground, yet she was still holding two fish still fresh in the package which apparently she was bringing to me. It was odd but I of course helped her up, and took the fish from her asking her to come inside so I could check her. Oddly enough at that point I see someone sitting on the opposite chair in the back of the van when I got back … sadly it was at this point I woke up and never did find who he was or why he was in the van.

Symbolism Interpretation and Parallels:

Dreams often arrive as mirrors, not of what is happening outwardly, but of what is quietly forming beneath awareness. In this one, the van, the girl, and the restaurant seem to exist as fragments of motion, emotion, and meaning that converge to show a life both traveling and returning — a rhythm between independence and connection.
The Van becomes more than transport. It is the vessel of the self — mobile, self-contained, and yet open to the unknown. Its interior, carefully built and functional, mirrors the way one organizes their inner world: enough structure to feel grounded, yet still adaptable to wherever the journey leads. The act of stepping back into the van after the restaurant visit suggests retreat into one’s own space — a return to self after contact with the outer world.
The Girl represents warmth, recognition, and the human impulse toward shared experience. Her role as a waitress — one who serves nourishment — connects to emotional feeding. The gratitude expressed through touch rather than words points toward a desire for authenticity over formality, to feel rather than to simply speak appreciation. Her fall, fish still in hand, carries paradox: a moment of vulnerability, yet still bringing sustenance — as if the dream reminds that tenderness and care often arise from unexpected imbalance.
The Restaurant itself is the locus of choice and appetite. It is where the inner traveler pauses to select what to take in from life’s menu. Returning to it suggests that the psyche revisits the same emotional landscapes, seeking something that once felt fulfilling — a hint that meaning sometimes resides in repetition until understanding completes the circle.
And then there is the man in the van, appearing quietly and unexplained. He may stand for the unseen observer — the rational or detached aspect of the dreamer — silently witnessing emotional encounters. Or perhaps he is the presence of past or future selves, a reminder that no inner space is ever fully solitary; every version of us leaves an imprint.
When viewed together, these symbols speak of the cycle between journey and return, between autonomy and intimacy. The dream blurs the line between travel and stillness, suggesting that even as life moves outward, it also circles inward — each encounter, each detour leading back to the same essential question: What am I truly seeking to be nourished by?
In waking life, these elements may reflect the constant movement between exploration and homecoming — the desire to experience new places or people while also longing for something steady and familiar. It’s a reminder that growth doesn’t only happen on distant roads; it often occurs when one revisits the same places with new eyes, realizing that what seemed ordinary was always quietly sacred.

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

Sentiments from a homeless child

The plan is to incentivize the current spectrum squatters with a share of the revenue gained from auctioning off the spectrum -- mostly for mobile broadband use -- which only seems fair, and for now it seems those auctions will be voluntary. But that's just the tip of the iceberg: the plan also includes a $5 billion investment in constructing 4G networks in rural areas (with a goal to reach at least 98 percent of Americans with the service), a $3 billion fund for 4G R&D to help the rollout, and $10.7 billion for a wireless public safety network. The beauty of this plan is that all these proposed costs are offset by the spectrum auction, which is estimated to raise $27.8 billion, of which $9.6 billion will be dedicated to deficit reduction. Oh, and the best news? The government has already found 115MHz worth of Federal spectrum that it can free up by using its other spectrum more efficiently, and has another 95MHz worth in its sights. Hit up the source link to see President Obama's speech on the subject, which has just begun, or check it out embedded after the break.

via EnGadget c/o Chris Fisher

Yet another case study in how things have become more mobile, and if this bill goes through, true information will be more available wherever you are, ambitious to shoot for 98% but certainly possible. As so many today have really become more and more mobile as phones have become less expensive with more functions then a typical pc had in the 80s and early 90s. Devices that by themselves may as well be something as simple as pocket pcs. The abilty to access the internet and it's associated information no matter where you may travel is another benefit to an ever mobile society as well as a travelling classroom, to learn from the collective resources on the interconnected web, the limitations on access has been the one thing, that the hope is with this bill become a thing of the past.

More On Mobile Phones;

Is society Addicted to Cell Phones?

What Makes the Internet Great?

Cellphones For the Elderly - What are the Benefits?

Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

Knatchwa, Opera | Reflections and More.

Just started exploring Opera, and it's suite of integrated apps, reminds me of the earlier revision that was Netscape Navigator. A dream about a restaurant, similar to a place I used to work, recently reopened under new
management and a different crew in the kitchen. It starts out within the restaurant, we are just finishing
up the day and I am taking care of tables, cashier and to go orders simultaneously. A full house and I
handle it only as a seasoned professional does.

As the day finishes up and all the guests have left the doors are locked the two new management ask if
I want to see where they expect to expand, I agree as I always like to see progress but first I had a mess
to clean up, as working in a restaurant is most certainly not glamor work. Afterwards I head out to
where they said to meet them, a virtual labyrinth of obstacles, first being an Recreational Vehicle with a
vertical ladder to climb over, a deep ravine to traverse and the return trip. All of that while carrying
what appears to be sticks and play-doh or something. Dreams have a tendency not to make perfect
sense, but what I write here is my memory of it verbatim.

As I headed to the Recreational Vehicle I saw an unfamiliar face and asked if I could help him. He
Responded “ Well I am the new owner of this restaurant and would like to speak with the current
managers.” In Response “Well what are you doing here? Will go and see if I can get them to meet you
out here.” With that I headed to the RV preparing to navigate the labyrinth of obstacles just to get to
this place of expansion. Not to mention it was also suggested that I bring additional items which of
course had to be carried by hand. Upon reaching the RV I started climbing the vertical ladder, looking
back though I saw two girls and smiled at them. Continuing the climb I was able to hear bit's and pieces
of their conversation, yet the exact words escape me at the moment. Eventually nearing the top they
were far enough away where I can only see them but not hear them.

When living the life of what otherwise would be considered a confirmed bachelor's existence. For lack of a better term or better more endearing term. Or simply because at these hours there are few or now words to use. At such hours I used to spend more time just chatting or really just waiting for those who I knew would be on late at night to come online.

It was not much of a existence you could say, since then I figured out it is important to live life beyond just that, there is a whole world outside of the screen. yet for so long in the simplest terms it was what I figured I could do, when the rest of my life is lived about the same as to many others. It is interesting idea you could say - that some would live life inside a computer, other's not so much. Just words being typed - there not much else to the story I guess - just thoughts running rampant and mind games not being played. Just random thoughts written down - no particular order or design. At least that is how this story is being told for the moment. The last of the late night jazz playing into the night, perhaps it also is a clue that sleep may be in order, thoughts?

Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

Pondering the possibilities

Taking some time to think about and through some of the other options - used wordpress for a time, but found it to be a bit to limited for my purpose, so for the time being I am working on setting up www.raymondmarr.com for something new and exciting so stay tuned to the new and variable experience yet to come about.

Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

Developing sites for users with Cognitive disabilities and learning difficulties.

Cognitive impairment, which includes memory, perception, problem-solving, conceptualisation and attention deficits. In doing that you make the first steps in the new direction.
To do that is often easier said then done, but it can be done and should be a constant in making a difference a decision that must really be made in order to step up to the plate, to make the most of your efforts and making the progress that is important through the tough times that are often inevitable in the day by day existence.
The factor that is important to be considered, in making a definitive choice to make the necessary change in order to progress through the challenges of this life. To make a quality decision, with the clear idea of living life fully that is more important then most things. Following the idea, that if you never truly live, and you just let your life pass you by you will miss so much. You only have one opportunity to make the most of this moment and the next and to make a change now to improve the future in leading by example. We as human beings always learn by observing example the factor that aligns with such possibilities. The point being the only way to make a change, is to starting changing what you do to offer a better example, to those who have yet to explore what is beyond the walls of the sheltered existence that is childhood, only seeing their parents as the example.
To change the next generation then is depending on the example the current generation sets for the children of the next generation yet to experience the world beyond this moment. They are completely dependent, on being taught what should be the future. To do that though is a long and enduring process, and is a matter of rethinking and changing the understanding of the situations by also taking the time to re-educate yourself. To Change Views - is a matter of seeing things differently, of making a slightly different choice of each matter.
In re-educating yourself to understand things differently and to progress beyond them and through them by researching the possibilities that exist beyond the current scope of vision. That is a part of the full spectrum of color that is often forgotten when the focus is only on the Black and White Aspect of it. We do not live in a Mono Chromatic world, though often it seems that is what is taught to only see red or blue, black or white, to miss the full range of colors and ideas that when seen and understood opens up the eyes and the mind the see more of the existence, more of the story. To stretch the mind just a bit, in helping to realize there is more to learn, and more to offer as an example of the importance of living life fully.
Posted via email from Knatchwa - Streaming Life

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

‘Be Kind to Animals Week’ - The Daily Cat #petweek 2010

Teach your children well. When kids grow up understanding the worth of the lives of all animals, they are likely to take those values into adulthood and pass them on to their own children.
Damn the rain, sometimes, it can be annoying when you set an objective to ride a bike to Monterey every single Tuesday, except for the fact that, when the goal was set it was not ever considered there might be rain, and yet here we are how many Tuesday's have passed andn I have not rode simply because rain is falling. Not like the picture of the bike beside this text, weather like that will probably not be seen until Summer, or even perhaps Spring.
The question seems to be if you make a choice to ride a bike every Tuesday should you ride Rain or Shine or choose a wiser path, where when you ride, you know that from the start to the finish you will be riding with the sun at your back.
Honestly though for true riding in the rain there are tools that are needed, things like Fenders, like money just in case something goes wrong, things that are important on the off chance that things do not work out as planned. The point being, that it is important to consider the weather and how it will relate to your health. Certainly with the lightweight pants and a light shirt with a jacket that will dry quickly, it could be done, but to do that with what I have now, is an exercise in futility. It does not mean the goal is not being met, it is that the goal is constantly evolving just as we do from one day to the next.
Considering that as fact is a first step in understanding that goals though often specific can change, as time progresses there is the consistent inconsistency that will result in that particular goal, coming to fruition. Through that a journey will emerge and challenges will be overcome, it is not that I am not fulfilling the goal I am evolving with the goal, and that makes all the difference.
What do you think? Do goals evolve with you? Should they instead be steadfast and kept to without condition? Or if you do that will you be setting yourself up for failure?

There are many ways to begin, the first step in any change, is you and the person in the mirror need to reach a consensus for it. To make that quality decision to grow, once made simply a matter of follow through in taking action on the decision. That is unless you like the world how it is, or instead of putting focus forward, withdrawing into yourself, not unlike the tortoise and his shell, being blinded by the spectrum of color that is a part of change, without seeing the infinite potential we each have within ourselves. In my opinion, few are happy with the way things are, just decide to remain blind to improvement, by choice or by attitude. Anything can be improved for the better. It is primarily a matter of the fear of making waves of being different, to start thinking for ourselves. Toss the pre conceived notions, the years of programming, blinded by choice, believing the false idea that you should just be content, Even if your realize immense potential, moments of revelation, the possibilities. Why compress ideas of difference, of revolution if you will. We each can make a difference and often changes are a necessity don't you think?
Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

A Letter to My Father

First you see, her when she is being brought to another house towards the end of the block right at the beginning of a mountain trail that traveled downward.

She is being relocated, to a new house and really, to be taken care of someone else. This person that is to take care of her also has a cat, so the caretaker takes sometime to introduce Daisy to this other cat, slowly but surely.

The factor, in any meeting of two pets is this introductionary process, is taken carefully as there is a tendency for the two to be agressive, as any two pets that have not met previously by instinct since trouble as opposed to care is a constant. The story goes on to speak on what might of been or could of been but far as it goes, the dream seems to end when you awake. To go beyond that though most dreams go beyond sleep and become a storyline, which really this entry is becoming. As a starting point and as a launching pad to bigger and better things. In line with the Paws Not Claws Project, and in line with the increased understanding of dreams and pets.
While I was there answered phones and data entry via codes, the name of the company escapes me for the moment. Though I did see some familiar faces and found myself asking if I still worked here for some reason. The one person I remembered tells me "Take Over 20.." a terminal two down from the one I used to work at, so I begin to check out the terminal but moments later they started setting up for a presentation of some sort. I figured that was my clue to get out of there after I looked around briefly and so I did.

Afterward I find myself carrying a backpack that someone held a case of like 24 bottles of water for some reason, with at least four statuettes that had values from 300 to 700 dollars each at market value. For some reason while I was walking I had eaten a sticky chocolate so I could not speak clearly and I was barely walking, as a result of the weight in the backpack. My walk was very different, and slow going. So much in fact, to the untrained eye it seemed I was mobility impaired and with my inability to talk well, it was similar to the way a Austrian conversation may go. Not to dissimilar to the way the California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke before he learned to speak english well, no offense intended just an observation. As proof positive some person remarked, "Hurry up, your slowing people down..." referencing my speed of travel. I responded with my tripped out accent, "You don't like how I walk, to damn bad this is how I am like it or not!" The point was made so there was no further exchange between him and I.

As I continued my walk at that snail pace, I found myself headed towards another familiar place, one that has been mentioned in previous posts at the dream sessions and my main site raymondmarr.com, of the neighborhood. This time though it was different, in the sense the same neighborhood, in this dream had been blocked up and taped with red tape. As it was an area controlled by the bloods, a faction of a larger gang localised in this specific area. The same area, where three became one, and I was nearly killed and nearly escaped. Here I was again, in the same general location, where such things had occured before. I don't know why though I stepped up and climbed over the fence into that neighborhood, thinking it would lead me where I expected to go the same destination as before. As an addition to that, a large three story victorian home, that was mentioned in a previous news storie or something I don't remember the exact origination but I know it did seem similar, as if I had seen it somewhere before.

Once over the fence, I took a look around, took the backpack off my back to relocate a particular statuette valued at something in the area of seven hundred dollars, and somehow the guy on the other side picked up on the value and was going to try and take it from me. This first person I saw then asked me "Where you from?" Since I was still not real easy to understand I replied, "Was headed to Kamann, I usually go this way..." and continued by saying, "Just trying to make that money when he asked about the statuette. Fortunately for me one of his homies from across the road stopped the exchange of further words and the attempt at grabbing it by the first person I talked with. Clearly believing there life was worth a color, dressed down to the nines in reds and shades of the same color, men and boys, who were willing to die for a color.

They were not all bad, as one of them was cool enough to make it clear to his homies, "I'll take care of it." Once stated they pulled back and went about their way. After that was all said and done he said a few things to me, warnings that I have heard before about the gang ideals. Such as saying "Don't look me straight in the eyes because it is like a challenge..." I understood and he continued by saying, "Come over here hang out with me for a minute." So I did keeping the eyes averted by looking the other way and just talking. It was interesting that I was able to see the back of my shirt, it was red also in some kind of design, the details were not really that clear at least to me in that moment. Still speaking in that odd accent as a result of that chocolate, he only listened until some of his homies came back, apparently he had given them some kind of signal to have me get up and be on my way directing me towards another road to the left of the block and then just keep heading left through what appeared to be a party. Supposedly there was a road, like Kelly Road or something that was that way.

So I followed the directions and walked through the party, stopping only briefly a few times. until I reached what appeared to be a central location where there was a older couple sitting and telling stories while drinking about diverse subjects so I stopped and listened. It was at this moment I see another familiar face, the one of my little brother Paul who is at this party for some reason. While he is having a drink, he starts coughing, as he appears to be choking, not to odd until the solution to the choking is shared with me visually. Two random people from the party once they notice he is choking put a cup to his mouth with no bottom on it and brings out a second cup with what appears to be carbonated water and they hit the bottom of the second cup and the carbonated concoction goes right into my brothers throat, and he is fine after that, though clearly a bit more drunk then it would be expected, he stumbles off after the performance and seems fine after a long burp. When I asked them what they did, they tried to explain it to me, but the odd thing is even though they were talking to me what they were saying was completely incoherent, and the only thing I heard clearly was the story the older couple were telling, as if to say the story is more important then what had occured there. To add to the oddness, after the fact I realized I was wearing no shoes, and really your guess is as good as mine. Because at that point, I awoke, wanting to write this down. It seemed like I felt it important enough to awake and to write even if my eyes did not agree and still felt tired.

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

Interconnected Two Dream - v1 and v2

Two dreams both very brief by the time frame of the subconscious, truly it is not so fast but it seems to the dreamer that it is a very fast moment. I had two dreams, connected in one way or the other.

In the first stage of my dream, I find myself in the military just recently enlisted, filling out paperwork in the barracks with my shoes off and on the floor for some reason. Later I go out for a walk, and find something, a sticky ball of some sort that ends up being some kind of potent drug. Later that same evening, while I was resting, the leader of a local drug cartel arrives at the barracks and begins to mess with me, but I don't just take it I fight back, maybe not as effective as it should be yet it was consistent enough to make a difference. Even while sleeping I was still fighting, it was like I just kept hitting this person, this being in my dream, a leader of a drug cartel.

There is no definite finale, only a dream that seems incomplete. In that I close this session perhaps though it will be continued in later posts at Dream Sessions. The first dream stopped before there was to be a battle. Why chose this I don't know, but perhaps it was for the better as often a battle can throw off the rest of the dream.

The second dream, though is one I can recall better, as it took place in the garage, when Lizz asked if she could help clean it out, as apparently she was getting her own place and was going to use some of the old furniture in her new place. Supposedly she was in a relationship that had become serious enough to warrant moving in together. I responded "Sure could always use some cleaning out." I left her to it and took a walk.

What was odd on my way back I was overcome with a deep weariness, so much so I had to stop and lay down to rest, for awhile. I have no idea how long it was, as there was no indication of the time I just laid there. When I finally awoke, and continued the walk back to the garage, I was surprised to see the difference from when I left until this moment when I got back. There seemed to be a clear emptiness, as I look around the space, in the sense that most of what was once familiar was no longer in this room that was different, for the better perhaps but different. I also noticed though on the left wall there was a set of three monitors with a larger screen in the center with an abstract image showing as the screen saver that synced over the many systems in this new space, even with the two on the sides being turned off.

I then walked over to the right of this new space that seemed so unfamiliar, there were two other computers turned on and operational. Where I noticed Lizz was chatting it up with some sort of chat client and of course talking dirty or something. I just looked over to her after sitting down and said, "I know you tend to cheat." she responded "Yeah just keep it between us." That was pretty much the extent of dialog between us. And really that was also the of this dream session. Stay tuned for some new shit, coming soon. :)

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

Poison & Release

A dream that intrigued me where there is a poison that is found, from some sort of beast. that is located roaming a church, where for some reason the Pastor becomes poisoned and is lost from that point. The poison enabling a sort of mind control of the victim. Why after being attacked the pastor disappears or leaves the building. The strange thing it starts in this particular church, at this particular moment in my life, where there seems to be much extra baggage that I must let go of.

There is really not many explanations of the descriptions of either the beast or the pastor, but I figure it is simply because they had no particular role in this dream besides the beast and the pastor leaving the building. Shortly thereafter, I find some pipes that have some sort of magical ability and I was aware of it, as if I was meant to know. Since I was aware I was able to create what appeared to be a seat of some sort, like th back of a horse which I rode like it was just that, considering these were just pipes, not sure what they represented. After I am riding the pipes a church member shows up, an elderly lady, and I ask her "Where can I find a saddle (for my pipe horse)? There was a moment of silence as she pointed me in the direction of the room behind the pulpit, usually where the Priest comes out in traditional services. There on the corner was a great looking saddle placed on the ground in a corner. Seemed a find saddle, leather and solid with everything already setup similarly shown in the Complete Horse Riding Manual. So I thanked her and she faded out. Once I put the saddle on the piped horse and rode around the church multiple times for some reason. Shortly afterward I headed to the exit and had to duck as this piped horse was tall and so am I and it was necessary to exit a six foot doorway to get out. Once outside I realized I had only brought one bag, I had left the rest of my baggage somewhere else inside the church. It was like the excessive baggage in my life was left there in a place I was not, at least that is how I interpreted it.

So we were on our way, not exactly sure where to go or why to go there at all, at this point in the outside world, the pipes had become a full out horse, with long brown hair, similar to a Clydesdale distinctly female, definitely feminine. As we rode together, I saw a cafe and figured would stop there, as I looked for a place to tie up the horse I realized, once I was off the horse, looking for a place to tie her up so I could go inside, this horse became a beautiful girl, quite stunningly attired in sort of a school girl uniform and she offered to buy me a coffee there, at the shop. For some reason though we ended up crawling through a low lying bush. Since it was so low we had to crawl to get through. During this time as we progressed beneath this plant, her skirt became hiked up, at which point I saw she was wearing nothing beneath it. I smiled and said something to the effect "I like it that way.." and smacked her bare bottom once and continued by saying "I rather she is a clydesdale, when in horse form." she only smiled warmly in response.

Eventually we escaped the low lying bush and she fixed her skirt and we walked hand in hand into the cafe. It was at this point I awoke and so I wonder what was to happen next, well stay tuned for the next dream session will hopefully shed some light on the story or continue it at a later time.

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.

What do dreams Mean?

When I considered this recent addition to the mix, to the process of understanding dreams I find it interesting that the 12p news actually had a story on it. And I realized that I had stumbled onto a subject that has great depth. The process of understanding dreams, as it shows in previous posts, is simply, to take the time to consciously decide, you want to remember that dream, to awake in the morning and before you are fully awake you take the time to either transcribe it or write down keywords or if you are able to write down the whole dream.

The benefit of using keywords make it easier to recall the content, and to format the story itself when you write it out later on that day. It is not to say that it is necessary to build it up, but at the very least, by expanding it you can gain a better full understanding of what is offered.

The power of dreams should never be underestimated and to grasp them and understand them, is a big step in the right direction. My objective with dreamsessions is exactly that and continues to be from this point onward, so take a look at some of the earlier entries, and explore the wonders of dreams.

Thank for Exploring Dream Sessions with Me, Share it.
