E-Commerce - Local Sussex Photographer Scott Wright asked Dreamshock Design to help create the new version of his on line photography store. Sussex Photos features galleries from both the area of Sussex, and also further afield during his travels abroad. The system is a very fast dynamic way of selling his Landscape and Travel photography allowing instant previews of his work, as well as being able to preview all the images in frames and mounts. The site has many backend features such as dynamic search notifications and order tracking & management allowing Scott to both add content to his site, and also manage sales and productivity. This is the second release of the Sussex Photos website, with the first being launched October 2001.

Brochure Site - We have just completed a recent website project for a local agency in the South of England, providing adult companionship for the perfect night out. The initial brief was to create some designs with a funky style and atmosphere, whereby the look and feel entices the viewer allowing easy access to relevant information. We began by creating the brand and logo colourscheme, before moving on to establishing the website layout.

Flash/HTML Hybrid - Black Men Magazine is a high quality publication that has been running for over 11 years. They came to dreamshock to help replicate the standard of the magazine to an online experience allowing users to interact in new and innovative ways yet still maintaining the same style and glossy feel. We set about initially by creating the concept designs and layouts, before creating and animating areas with flash content. Once the designs were set and the animation had been designed, we began helping assist with the database integration and development of the site, allowing full updatability by the client. Readers and members of the magazine are able to view all existing content and photo galleries, as well as view issues online and search previous articles.

Full Flash Brochure - Resolve Security has been operating since May 2005 and is one the largest door security & safety contractor in England and Wales, providing a professional service to the leisure and entertainment industry. Its Head Office is based in Brighton, East Sussex and employs door supervisors �and man guarding security personnel nationwide, providing a high level of security services. We were asked to bring their online presence to a higher level for 2009, bringing them above competitors in the area. Initially we started with a rebrand of the company logo, which can be seen in our portfolio here: http://www.dreamshock.com/corporateID/3028/ Once the branding had been created, we went on to create the full flash brochure website. The brief and target for the design was based around a futuristic interface system. This was then created using Photoshop for the initial test layouts, before the team began animating the designs into the flash site. Featuring XML technologies this allows Resolve Security staff to update their content instantly via a CMS backend system. This enables the team to have a great looking website, as well as being easily updatable.

Full Flash Site - We have just launched Version 2 of the Pure Tonic Media website. For the past 3 months we have been involved with creating a teaser trailer campaign for PureTonic Media, known as TheFateof08. This was a teaser campaign to mark the new site launch which happened on the 8th of August 2008 - 08/08/08. It features a custom written audio engine management system, with powerful backend features used by the client, as well as a full flash scripted front end. This creates a very unique user experience, and keeps the site fast as possible for browsing audio content. The user (once logged in) can add custom audio files to a "shopping basket" either in wav or mp3 format, and then download their customised zip file with all their requested audio. The site is coded with actionscript, php, mysql and XML feeds and was an enormous achievement by our team to get everything running and perfected by the deadline, which could not be delayed in any way! 08/08/08. Company founder Steve Pigott commented: "We wanted a site that was ultra user friendly, and showcased our work in an organised, structured way. In addition, the new Radio Beds� service needed an intelligent audio interface that not only looked good, but also needed to be slick and above all functional."

Wordpress Template - After creating the original Business Hustlers brand, logo and corporate ID (see case study here >>) we were then asked to help create the online web blog system. Opting for a simple Word Press Template system, we began the installation of the core system, and any respective modules and plugins that the client required. We then went on to fully customise the system to work exactly the way the client wished, in order to minimise any future demand on dreamshock, and instant updatability. Using a graphical css layout, the blog will be a personal blog but with a twist, it�s about personal experiences but also valuable resources on business, and street smart tactics that they don�t teach you in school, how to make it in other countries, tax savings etc.� It is also a personal journal and learning experience for the client and the readers.

E-Commerce - Domino Baby is a company inspired by providing quality designer products for babies and parents. We make life as a new parent a little bit easier by supplying some of lifes little luxuries. The came to us at the end of 2007 with the idea of starting up the new business. We started the concepts by creating the domino baby logo, brand, and colour scheme to help with the setup of the company. We then went on to help photograph some promotional imagery for the website and products, to help assist the creation of the website. We then went on further once the brand was established, to create the full e-commerce website for the client. With a fully automated stock control system and administration by Domino Baby staff this is a great shop front for their products. Written in PHP & MYSQL, with flash elements.

Brochure Site - We have just created the website for JessicaLesley.co.uk Jessica is the daughter of Scott Wright, here at dreamshock. He wanted a showcase site for his photos and videos of Jessica that everybody has been asking to see. He needed a quick flash delivery system that was both quick to browse, and also quick to update as that was key to the design. Jessica will be changing quickly, and so the site needs to as well. Created with Flash and Actionscript 2, and using HD size FLV files for video delivery, the site should be future proof enough for a while for Scott to add content too.

E-Commerce - Hepplewhites came to us to assist in creating an online web presence for their company and services. Using a maroon branding and design to theme the showcase of antique products, the system uses MySQL and PHP to both create a fast system for the user to view, and also for the Hepplewhites staff to instantly update their content. The sites content is mirrored with the stock system website, however the items can be displayed independently on each if required.

E-Commerce - MJ Duncan are a newly established Antiques shop based in Forest Row, East Sussex. We spent a few days photographing the store, and all the products inhouse using a mobile studio setup. Once the imagery had been established, we went on to design the website layouts with the MJ Duncan branding. The system has a content management system allowing staff to instantly change any stock details as well as imagery on the web site.

Full Flash Site - In 2008 Paul Musselle celebrates his 19th year in the television industry - mind you, he started young! Before moving to television he spent some very happy times working in radio. Paul has presented numerous shows for UKs broadcasters including Channel 4, ITV and Sky Sports. He is currently one of the lead Presenters for Skys nightly 3-hour live show The Open on Sky Poker. Looking to expand his horizons for 2008, Paul came to dreamshock at the end of 2007 in order to create him a mini portfolio site to demonstrate some of the work he has done, as a pitch to other presentation and representation companies out there. We opted for a full resizable based flash layout design, providing a simple solution for delivering audio and video content.

Flash/HTML Hybrid - Ternex Ltd was established in the 1950s by Francis Nevel, as a manufacturer of quality wooden furniture and arts and crafts. In the early 1960s the company acquired the Ayot Green Sawmill to secure its supply of quality timber. The business is now owned and run by Francis son Vince, who like many others at Ternex has worked there man and boy. Ternex wanted Dreamshock to help boost their web presence both visually and also through the search engines. We used a series of SEO techniques to help boost their listings, whilst giving their site a complete overhaul and redesign, using flash elements on an HTML layout basis.
