Hey everyone greetings from Butte, MT. I hope that everyone is getting ready for school to start back up because I know I am, especially because this will be the first semester in my college career that I will only take twelve credits. I’m really excited to get my last semester of college completed but also really nervous about becoming an adult and having to join the workforce. Really if you think about it only for a short sliver of your life will you not be working, what a terrible feeling (LOL).

So to wrap up Denver and my internship with Newmont Mining, I LOVE DENVER and working for Newmont, they really take care of their employees and Denver is an awesome place to be with so much going on. If you get board in Denver, Colorado then it your own fault, especially if you are a sports enthusiast like me. Denver has the Rockies, Nuggets, Broncos and the Avalanche. The only down part is they really don’t have a great college sports scene but they sure do make up for it with all the pro sports.

Now on to football, this is the first time in twenty four years that Montana Tech Football hasn’t started the season with Coach Green as our leader. At first it was really weird, you just get so used having coach running around loving life and of course yelling. But I’m really glad that the search committee picked coach Morrell as our new leader of the Montana Tech Ore Diggers, simply he is a winner and we will win, he gives us no other option. We have been doing two-a-day practices since Monday August 8^th and have been enjoying the grind as coach likes to put it. We have a lot of younger guys on our team this year with only nine seniors this year but those nine seniors are solid players and will play a solid amount of time. I’m very excited to see what this season will bring, like before coach Morrell is a winner and wont except anything less than a victory on Saturday’s and that’s the attitude our team has right now. We aren’t picked to win the conference by anyone else but ourselves, we love that. We have no expectations from anyone else but our own and will shortly prove to the world that we are LEGIT…..

Hey everyone I hope that July was been a great month for all. Sorry for not blogging in a long time, work has been keeping me very busy. I actually come back to Montana this Friday, I’m excited and sad. But Denver is definitely the place where I could see myself living other than in Montana. My parents flew down on Sunday so they can drive back with me on Friday; we are going to the Train and Maroon 5 concert tonight up at Red Rocks. So this summer has been a blast I have done a lot of really cool things and met a lot of really fun people, but I’m ready to get that Big Sky state air back in my lungs. But hopefully sometime very soon I will be back down in Denver. So I have my buddies wedding on Saturday night to go to, I’m a groomsman in the wedding. This will be by first time actually being in a weeding so hopefully it goes smooth. I’m getting excited to get back and for football to start also. It’s always a really nice feeling to get back before all the other students get on campus. Well everyone I hope you all have a great week and sorry again for not blogging, I’ll have more detailed one in a couple days.

Hey everyone, well another week of work down here in Denver. Today is Wednesday, June 29, 2011. So last week was an awesome work week, traveled to Elko, Nevada for our annual intern trip. We left last Tuesday, flew to Salt Lake City and then bussed to Elko. We did a community service project at their K-12 school by giving their playground a real face lift. People were raking, pulling weeds, painting and putting together new playground equipment. I was part of the group of people putting together the new equipment. Then Tuesday night we went to the Star which is a badass steakhouse, they have the family style dining where everyone gets their main meal and then they bring out dishes of pasta, fries, salad and mashed potatoes (AKA a fat kid’s utopia). Wednesday we did our tour of the mines and I got to go underground, which to put it slightly was an experience. It was actually pretty freaky going down the elevator shaft; it was guaranteed the darkest I have ever been in; it was just like the movies. Once you get down there it’s really not too bad, but let’s just say that I was glad to get back to the office. Right before we boarded our plane for the flight back we heard over the intercom that our plane had a cracked windshield and that we would be delayed until 4 P.M and this was around 9 A.M. so we had to sit around all day, but two good things came out of this delay, first of all we got a $300 voucher for a future flight and the second was a we got a kickass lunch bought by Newmont that I’m guessing cost a pretty penny. Then on Friday I Newmont flew me up to good old Butte Montana for Chancellor Gilmore and Coach Green’s retirement party, to be a Newmont representative. Newmont gave Chancellor Gilmore a hardhat that was airbrushed; here some pictures of the helmet. Then the rest of the weekend I went to Helena to go camping with my parents and April. It felt rejuvenating to get back to Montana and do some camping. Autumn and Vance came out Saturday afternoon with his sister and kids that we had never met; they were really nice. So April comes today, actually she is currently on the plane and on her way to Denver. We are going to the Rockies game tonight, sitting first row down by third base. Well everyone I hope you all have a safe and fun 4^th.

Hello everyone, I hope you all had an awesome weekend because I did. If you’re a friend of mine of Facebook then you can tell I have been up to a lot down here in Denver. I met another intern named Josh; he is from Virginia and goes to Virginia Tech. We have been hanging out quite a bit lately; it’s been really nice having someone my age to hang out with. This past weekend Josh and I went to Water World on Friday and did the Wave which is the wave current pool that you kind of boogie board/surf, it was really fun/hard and I stayed on for like thirty seconds but Josh could stay on much longer. We did a lot of the other water slides but the weather wasn’t that great, it was kind of cold for a couple hours but was still really fun.
On Friday night Josh, Emily another intern from Montana Tech and I went to Dave & Busters and ate dinner had a few drinks and of course GAMED (LOL). On Saturday was the Rockies game, it was freaking sweet, these are some pictures from our seats, we were right past first base in row three. The game was really good; the Rockies won 6 to 5 and almost lost it at the end.

So this week at work I will be traveling all week. I’ll be going to Nevada tomorrow, for our annual intern trip which to put it mildly is pretty legit. The trip consists of going down to Elko, Nevada and doing a community service project at a school painting, picking up trash and putting together new playground equipment on Tuesday, Wednesday we go on our mine tour and then stay in Salt Lake City, Thursday we fly back and then Friday I leave for Montana for the weekend. I ‘m really excited to get back to Montana for a couple days; you can never get enough of Big Sky Country. Well everyone I hope you all have a great week because I know I will.

Hey everyone I hope that your summer is going well, mine is going awesome. Last weekend I went up to Laramie, Wyoming to hang out with my good buddy from high school, Josh. I went up last Friday afternoon since I got off work at noon due to it being Memorial Day weekend. I stayed with him on Friday night and then came back Saturday afternoon, the trip was really fun and it was good to see him since we don’t get to hang out much since he lives in a different state. I’m sure we will see each other a couple more times before the summer is over.

So work is going really great, I’m really busy, they have had me working on a power point on Iron Ore 101 for the hire ups so they can get a high level understanding of what Iron Ore is, writing a thing called an AFE which stands for authorization for expenditure for $375k. Initially that seems like a boat load of money but with these guys it’s pennies on the dollar, I’ve seen AFE’s that are in the millions. Working over at HQ this summer is a lot different than working at the metallurgy lab, not that I didn’t like working over there, but it’s really nice to be over working on more business type work.

I have been working out this summer, running and lifting my ass off. I hear that the workouts in Butte are going very well and that they are tough, which is good to hear. I’m really excited for the season to start, especially since this is my senior year, I just thought actually that I have been playing football for twelve years and this will be my thirteenth, WOW! I can’t believe that my football career is going to be over; it’s been a long run. Well everyone I better get back to work, have a good one.

Well good morning everyone, this post is coming to live from Denver Colorado. Finally summer has begun and what a feeling to be done with school, a great song comes to mind, “schools out for summer” sang by Alice Cooper. What an awesome feeling to have, no papers to write or tests to study for. I started work on Monday and have been very busy; they have me working over at HQ instead of the metallurgical lab. So on the trip down to Denver my mom and aunt rode down with me and it was a blast, it would be really boring drive from Montana without someone with you, especially in Wyoming, how boring is Wyoming, let me answer that, BORING.
Great news everyone, I have already gone to my first Rockies game of the season. Monday the Rockies played the Giants and beat them, which was AWESOME because they have been in a huge slump lately. EVERYONE, I will be going to Dave & Buster’s tonight with my mom, Elaine & Lisa my mother’s friends and April. Only April and I have been there so we are really excited to take them there.

My boss got me my gym membership yesterday like they did last summer and I’m really excited to get working out again. Especially since the club I work out at is FREAKING SWEET, this club is the type of club that you see in the movies, when I say that I mean its type of place that women go there and wear tennis outfits with their diamonds and then just have drinks (LOL).

Well everyone I got to get back to work, I will keep you updated, and will be posting some sweet pictures, I’ll update this post after tonight with some pictures from DAVE & BUSTER’S!!!!!

Spring Ball

Hey everyone, I hope that your Easter went awesome and everyone got to participate in an Easter egg hunt (LOL). So I thought I would give everyone an update on how spring ball has been going. Practices have been a lot different than most of us are use to. Practice tempo is crazy fast compared to last spring’s and we are playing very well. This spring we have had to dodge the weather more than usual, we all keep telling coach Morrell that we have never had this much snow in any spring ball in the past, he just laughs. Our team voted on team captains for our 2011 campaign and I was selected by the team to represent them along with Kevin Schey. It was a great feeling to be voted captain of our football team. So back to practices, we have been getting after it during our practices, we have been working hard and the coaches have been pushing us in the weight room and on the field. Coach Morrell tells us almost every day that the coaches are going to push us to our breaking point, that it will not be fun and that he only knows one way to have fun and that is to WIN WIN WIN football games.

So we had school off last Friday but since we have missed so many practices due to the weather being so bad we had to stick around until Saturday afternoon, which sucked because going home for three days would have been really nice to have, but we needed to practice so we can get all of our sixteen practices in before spring ball is all over with. Coach didn’t want to keep us here over the break but he knew that the team would rally around his decision. So on Sunday my dad, Vance and I got to go fishing and let’s just say it was awesome. We caught around fifteen rainbow trout and here is a picture of my big boy I caught. I hope everyone had a great Easter and I will check back in before semesters are over.

SPRING BREAK!!!!!!

Hey everyone I hope you all are having a great SPRING BREAK
because I’ am. I have fished three times
already and we have caught thirty six fish so far, but only have kept around
five. We love to go catch a boat load of
fish and we find no need to keep all the fish we catch, so we release most of
them. My dad and I went the first day,
my grandpa and cousin Blake came over on Sunday and fished and then Vance my
future brother in-law, my dad and I went today.
We are really fortunate that the weather has really been good for us
because usually during my SPRING BREAK the weather usually consists of snow,
rain or wind, but this SPRING BREAK so far has been awesome weather. Here are some pic’s of today’s catch’s, mine
is the biggest one we have caught this SPRING and Vance’s is probably the
smallest one this SPRING BREAK, but you can make that call for yourself.

We are at the mid-term of the semester in school. I’m really excited for the summer to come so I
can return to Denver for another awesome summer. Last summer was such much fun, going to
Rockies games, water parks and golfing was such a blast and loved being down
there. I’m excited to work at a different
building not because I didn’t love working where I did last summer, but just
the chance to meet new people and get different opportunities.

R.I.P Grandma

Hey everyone I’m sorry that I haven’t blogged lately but my grandmother passes away a week ago today and yesterday was her funeral and I have just been really busy lately with a lot of family in town and other stuff. My grandmother was 77 years old and is in a better place now. My grandpa and grandma were married for 57 years and it has really been hard on my grandpa to deal with this.

On a different note I got a 100% on my Financial Markets and Institutes test last week and I think I did very well on my Microsoft Access last Thursday. School this semester has been really busy, I feel like all I do is write papers, upon papers, upon papers. Since this is really my last semester of school it doesn’t really bother me at all. When I say this is really my last semester of school , I mean that I will have my Business Degree completed this spring semester but will come back next fall to play my last year of football. Next fall I will pick up a minor in communications because I think it’s an important thing to make yourself diversified when employers are looking at you next to another person. Well everyone I hope that you all have a great week, next blog will be an update on MullFest that is coming up the first week of March.

Hey everyone I hope you all had a great first week of school and hopefully your professors didn’t give you homework over the first weekend. We had our first meeting with our new coach on Thursday which went very well; we went over the change in how we take care of our grades and such. You should see our grade book that we have to keep and fill in for every one of our classes. First of all I think it’s a great process so everyone can be eligible for next season. Coach Morrell has also implemented a study table that is mandatory for all new players to the program and all players who are in academic jeopardy. Then weekly we have to show coach our academic progress to show him that we aren’t slacking or doing poorly in class. I really believe that coach Morrell is going to turn around our football program to where it should be. I’m not saying that Coach Green didn’t do an outstanding job at all; I’m saying that Coach Morrell is a lot younger and has a lot of great ideas to bring our program to the next level. Well everyone the first week of school was pretty basic like every semester, I hope that you all have a great second week.

Well everyone I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New-year because I sure did. I will be heading back to Butte this Sunday to start my last spring semester of my college career, I know in other posts in my blogging career, I’ve said that I can’t believe how fast college has gone by. So for Christmas I spent it in Helena with my family at my parent’s house, we open all of our presents on Christmas Eve and then “Santa” brings us our larger present, this worked out perfectly because April’s family doesn’t open presents until Christmas morning, so she spent Christmas Eve with me and my family.

I’m also a year older now, two days after Christmas on the 27^th of December I turned twenty two years old, jeez I just can’t believe that I’m getting old, it seems like yesterday my parents were driving me to my first days of Kindergarten.

This Christmas break has been an awesome one for ice-fishing. Last year I only got out twice and this year I’ve been out eight times already. April has gone with me twice, Vance has gone with me most every time and my dad has only gone once with me. These pictures are of my Trout I caught one of the first times I went out and then the other picture is of six of the biggest Perch we caught out of twenty five Perch.

As I said earlier I will be heading back to Butte, we have a meeting with our new head coach next Thursday, so that will be interesting to have an official meeting with our new head coach. If there are any new or prospective students out there, I would really look at Tech for school and if you already have chosen Tech for school I commend you. You can’t ask for a better education, especially for the price. I’m really glad that I’m at Tech playing football and going to school, everyone I talk to always makes sure to tell me how good of a school Tech and how they wish they would have gone there. Well everyone GO DIGGERS!!!!!!

Hey everyone I hope that you all had a great finals week, if there is such a thing. Well I finished up on Thursday and came home for my mother’s 50^th birthday which was also on Thursday. I had three finals during the week and think that I did well on them all, I should either end up with four A’s and two B’s or three A’s and three B’s so I’m not really that worried about it. Well last week we met with our future head coach of Montana Tech Football, well we met with the two finalists for the job. Our team was fairly well split on which coach we liked the most, they both bring different aspects to Tech Football, which is always a good thing.

So for my mother’s 50^th Birthday party we threw her a surprise party out at the Montana City Grill last weekend before finals week. My dad and I went and snuck down to Idaho and got my aunt, my mom’s sister so she could come to the party. She found out that a bus runs down from Twin Falls to Idaho Falls for only forty dollars, so it’s way cheaper than driving or flying. We don’t get to see her a lot since she lives in Twin Falls, but when we do, we always have a ton of fun. So my aunt was here for ten days, we had to take her back to Butte so she could get back on the bus for her journey home. I really like it when she comes up and see’s us, we have a lot of fun, probably too much fun.

Well Christmas break came just in time; I need some much needed R&R. I will be doing some lifting, ice fishing, sleeping and gaming over break. Then next semester I will be taking five classes which should be a lot easier than my seven I took this semester. Well everyone If I don’t get back on before Christmas, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Well hello everyone, sorry for the break in between my last blog, school just has been really kicking my behind lately and I’ve been trying to keep up with everything. So if you all haven’t heard, Coach Green retired, he decided to call her quits after twenty four years of head coaching duties here at Montana Tech. I would just like to thank him for recruiting me to come play football at Tech and that I really have enjoyed playing under is rein the past four years. So I guess the search for Coach Greens replacement has already begun, I think that it will be a good thing to get some fresh blood in the football program, just like Coach Green said, the new coach will have twenty three new scholarships to give out, a new scoreboard and probably a new conference. Don’t get me wrong I really liked Coach Green and all that he has done for Digger Football. So hunting season is officially over, I shot a nice buck and then a doe, my dad and I both didn’t even get a shot off on one, it is the first time in about fifteen years, so that sucks that we will have to buy burger this year instead of having our usual supply of elk burger.

Well hello everyone, I hope that you all are enjoying our first real snow day that we have had this year. I can’t believe how nice of weather we have had lately, usually its freezing cold with snow. My topic for this blog is going to be grading in the college system. When I say grading I mean the time it takes for our professors to grade stuff we turn in. I believe that if we the students are held responsible for studying for tests, or turning in homework on time, or writing papers, that we should have the right to have whatever we turned in back in a reasonable manner. I have classes that we turned stuff in during the first week of the semester and haven’t gotten back yet, which means that I don’t know if I’m currently passing or failing classes, which isn’t a good thing. I know that professors are really busy and teach many classes upwards toward five, but if they have such a heavy load they should not assign so many assignments, papers, or test that they will have to eventually grade. Not knowing where we stand in a class by a letter grade can be very discouraging, how can our school system expect so much out of the students when we don’t get anything we turn in back. So on less serious note, football is almost over which is very sad, I’m going to really miss a couple of our seniors. I can’t believe that I’m going to be a senior in football next year; gosh it feels like just yesterday that my parents were helping me move into the dorms before my first two-a-days. This season hasn’t gone at all like we planned it, but it has been a really fun ride and I would like to thank all of our seniors.

Hey everyone, well hunting season has officially started. Today wasn’t the “official” opening day since they changed the regular opening day from Sunday to Saturday. Right now I really down care for this rule change since I’m still playing football and I can’t hunt on Saturday’s during football season, which means that the elk are already spooked for us on Sunday. But after next year I will really enjoy this new rule because then I can hunt a full weekend. So today my father and I went out hunting, we didn’t see any “brown”, when I say “brown” I mean elk. We did though run across a wolf, it was mind boggling, we were on our way back from hunting and we had one run across the road on us, it was massive and looked like a German Sheppard. This was the first time I have ever seen a wolf in the wild, I still can believe that I saw one. One thing that really bothered me while hunting today was all the beer cans my dad and I picked up on the trail, I bet we picked up ten beer cans; I sure would like to punch the person responsible. First of all who drinks and hunts and second of all if you’re going to bring crap into the wild just bring it out. I’m not a “tree hugger” by any means but it’s just respect for our wilderness and the sport. On a liter not I would like to talk about something at Montana Tech, I would just like to thank Chancellor Gilmore on a job well done while he has been in power. I really enjoy talking with Chancellor Gilmore on occasion a lot and really respect his open-door policy that he has on campus with all of his students. Even though we are not a very large campus, Chancellor Gilmore always has time for the students; even if the task is something as silly as pulling raffle tickets for our football team on home-games for our football team. I would just like to thank Chancellor Gilmore for everything that he has done here at Montana Tech.

Well happy Monday everyone, if there is such a thing. Well this last weekend went very good, first of all we got a win against the Western Bulldogs for our homecoming weekend and second of all, my mom and dad stayed the whole weekend, which I really like when they do. So this weekend I will be traveling up to Helena because the whole Frontier Conference is off this weekend, which means that we all have bye’s this weekend which also means that have some much needed rest to catch up on. While in Helena this weekend, I will be doing some fishing depending on the weather, but for sure will be sighting in my hunting rifle for this upcoming hunting season. I can’t wait for hunting season to start, hunting is just so relaxing, there’s nothing like walking through the woods during a cold winter morning while the sun is just waking up and is coming over the mountain across from you. If any of you are hunters you all know exactly what I’m talking about and if you’re not you need to try it sometime. Well everyone I hope you all have a great week…..

Well everyone it’s Friday, I love Fridays! I love Fridays because that means that the weekend is here and we no longer have to get an education for two whole days, unless our professors who don’t I don’t think understand the meaning of resting our brains, gives us homework. Well we play Carroll College tomorrow, for first place in the Frontier Conference. Our record against CC hasn’t been good for the past years, but there’s just something about this team, a breath of fresh air that I believe will make us prevail over CC. I would like to talk about the Eat Shit Carroll Shirts, well this year we had to take off the “Eat Shit Carroll” off our shirts, I don’t agree with this at all. Football rivalries are a great thing that can bring together a school; I believe that there are a lot worse things that we could do. A lot of people think that having that on our shirts is “classless” but I believe that it’s just a shirt. Other colleges with much more heated rivalry than our Tech Carroll have shirts that are way worse than ours. I feel like it really takes the fun out of the Tech Carroll game when rules are applied to what fans care wear and say to and at games. I don’t also get how that CC can tell other schools what not to wear to games when they have a terrible setup for their tailgating before games. Us the players have to run through their tailgate before every game many times and they yell things at us that are way way way worse than anything we could put on a shirt, they also in the past have pushed players on our team, but yet we can wear a stinking shirt. So on a lighter note, the game tomorrow is going to be crazy, I hear that there are going to around 10,000 fans for the game. Well everyone I hope you all have a safe weekend, if you’re going to the game please don’t drink and drive and always, GO DIGGERS!!!!!!

Hello everyone, well to start off we won last weekend up in Havre, Montana against the Northern Lights. It was a very hard fought game and our defense, simply played amazing and really picked our offenses slack up.

Well these past two weeks of school have been awesome, last week I only had school one day, since I don’t have school on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, last Monday was Labor Day so no school and then Friday we left early enough so I didn’t have to go to any classes. So this week we don’t have school on Monday and Tuesday because of the Economic Summit, yet again I don’t have school Tuesday and Thursday so I only have school on Wednesday and Friday this week, jeez what a life, (LOL).

So this week we play the Rocky Mountain Bears from Billings, they are on a little bit of a hot streak since they almost beat Carroll College and then beat Western last weekend, so they will be coming into Alumni Coliseum ready to play.

I don’t know about everyone else but I’m really getting excited hunting season to start up, I drew a cow tag in 335 which is up at the cabin we usually go to every hunting season. I really hope that I can get back up to Malta with Vance this hunting season to try and shoot another buck, I really enjoyed hunting out of a blind, and hunting dear is just really fun to do, especially after hunting elk and walking your buns off.

On a different note I would like to talk about something that I saw today that really bothered me, people who ride in the electric carts at stores and really don’t need them. There was a lady at Walmart today that I saw get up and walk perfectly fine all the way out to her car which was our further than my truck was. I saw this lady driving the cart around Walmart and she almost ran me over when I was grabbing something off the shelve. I got really mad about it because the isle was jam packed and she was weaving in and out of people and just didn’t wait until it cleared up and I wasn’t the only person who got mad about it this. Don’t get me wrong, I think that if people really need these carts because they are older or really need them, but when people are just lazy it really bothers me.

Big Game This Weekend!!!

Well hello everyone, I hope that all of your first weeks of school went great. So my school schedule this semester is AWESOME. I only have school on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. I have four classes on those days so I have a pretty hefty load. So this last weekend we lost our first game of the season. Our defense played out standing, our offense on the other hand just couldn’t get things rolling for some reason. I personally think that up front with our offensive line, it was just chemistry; we have had a lot of injuries during camp which means a lot of younger guys have got valuable playing time, which means that our starters haven’t played a lot together this fall. So my aunt Debbie came down for my first game this past Saturday, she came down last Wednesday afternoon and stayed with me at my house until yesterday Sunday. On Wednesday when she got here we went out to dinner at the Hanging Five, then my mom came down Thursday and then we went out to Metals for appetizers. My house was pretty full this past weekend; I had my mom, dad, sis, Vance, April and my aunt Debbie, so there were beds everywhere, but it was sure fun having the family together since my family on both sides don’t have family reunions and such. So when I got back from Denver my shoulder mount of my deer was finished up when my parents got here this weekend they helped me hang them on the wall, so take a look. This weekend we play Eastern Oregon, last year they beat us here in Butte but we beat them in Oregon so it should be a great game. Well everyone, I hope you all come out and support us this weekend at Alumni Coliseum.

Hey everyone, I know that it’s been a while since my last blog. So here goes, last weekend my mother flew down from MT so we could go to the KISS concert in Cheyenne days. KISS was AWESOME, they might not move around as well as they used to but, they can still rock and still kick ass and the played my favorite KISS song, "Doctor LOVE"!!!
So really I just don’t have a summer anymore, I came straight to work from school and then I’m going straight from work to football. Which leaves me know time for fishing and camping in the summers, but I guess that’s okay, since this summer probably has been the most fun summer I have ever had, with going to concerts and Rockies games and water parks and many other things that we just don’t have in Montana. So I’m done with my internship next Friday on August 6th, jeez how the summer has just flown by us. I feel like I just pulled into the parking lot of my hotel for the summer with my mom.
So football starts in 11 days, good thing I have been working out and running all summer. I’m really excited to start football again, just not excited at all to sleep in the dorms again. Coach Green has the whole football team sleep in the dorms during two-a-days, so he can make sure we got to sleep and then wake up in the mornings on time.
I’m Montana bound for tomorrow; I’m heading up to Sully’s wedding in Hamilton, Montana. I can’t wait to see everyone like Shannon and Sully and Wacy and the guys and April and my mom and dad. Well everyone I hope that you enjoy my KISS pictures from the concert.

Hey everyone I hope you all had a great 4th of July! So April came down last Thursday and left this past Wednesday, we had a lot of great adventures. On Friday afternoon we went to Elitch Gardens which is a water/theme park, we didn’t like Elitch Gardens as much as we liked Water World. Friday night we went to the Rockies game which had fireworks after and to put it simply, they were the best fireworks that I have ever seen in my life, they put Disney Land to shame. Saturday was the Denver Zoo day, it was really cool seeing all of the different animals, except they had wild horses, and its like really people come on there horses, we have tons of them in Montana. Saturday night we went to Dave and Busters which is always fun and this time we ate dinner there and did a lot of gamming. I was talking with my mom and I told her that she wouldn’t have been able to handle me when I was little if we went there (LOL). Sunday, the 4th of July was a really beautiful day until it started to freaking rain like nobodies business; this was the first 4th of July that I have not shot off fireworks, what a sad day! On Monday April and I went to a reservoir about ten minutes from my place, and lets just say that it was terrible. On a not very large body of water there were probably around 200 boats. I found out that on the water there’s a speed limit of 45 MPH, I have never heard of such a thing, also to swim in the water you have to swim in the “swimming” area which is about the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. There was a whole beach to swim on and they make you swim in a 20x20 swim area. So let’s just say there’s nothing like good old Montana lakes. Tuesday night April and I went to the Rockies, we left in the 7th inning because the Rockies were down 7 runs so we decided to leave and wouldn’t you know that the Rockies would end up coming back and winning the game in the 9th inning with a walk off home run and we missed it, JUST GREAT!!!!! Hey everyone, haven’t checked in for a while so I thought I would shout out to all my blog readers. Well April comes back down to Denver tomorrow and boy do we have some adventures planned. We have a couple of Rockies games to go see, amusement/water park and many more. I will post some pictures next week after see leaves. Work has been going good, just finished up with my second report; it was freaking 47 pages long. Easily the longest report I have ever written in my lifetime. I wasn’t to bad though, there seems to be a big difference when you are writing a report for school and for work, I don’t know why, but there just seems to be. So I started taking YOGA the other day and I really think that it’s helping my flexibility out. I have only gone two times and it already seems to be keeping me more flexible. Well everyone I’ll check back in next week sometime, to let you know how April’s and I adventures went.

Hey everyone just thought I would poke my head into my blog and say, “Hello”. Not much went on last weekend just laid back and relaxed since it was my first weekend in Denver without having someone around. Friday night, Elaine, Pat and I went to Bass Pro to look around and come to find out they have a restaurant there so we decided to eat dinner there also. It was pretty good and Bass pro is a huge store, with just about everything and anything you would ever want to buy. On Saturday, Tyler and I went to Old Chicago and watched the USA, World Cup game. It was fun, we went and ate some food and some drinks. That’s about the extent of my weekend, expect for large amounts of Call of Duty played on the Xbox 360. This weekend will be more exciting!!!!

Well hello to all my loyal blog readers. This last weekend was a blast, April flew down on Friday and I picked her up from the airport and then we went to Elaine’s house for ribs, which I BBQ. Friday night, April and I went to the IMAX to Shrek in 3D and simply it was amazing picture quality. We had gone to Clash of the Titans, in Butte this spring which was 3D and there isn’t even a comparison. On Saturday, was mall day. We went to Park Meadows, the 16th street mall and they Cherry Creek mall. April is not like most girls, she isn’t really a big shopper which is really nice. She does what I do when I shop for something, walks into the store, walks around for 5 minutes and if she doesn’t see anything she leaves. She’s not like my mom and sister who can and will spend hours and I mean hours in a single store. Saturday night, we ate dinner at Hooters, since April had never eaten at one. It was pretty good except I got too spicy of wings so I had to give them to the table next to me. After we bought our Denver Hooters shirts we decided to go and tryout Dave and Busters. We both had never been there before and heard it was really fun. Well $35 and two hours later we finally drug ourselves out. Dave and Busters is a restaurant that has games. This place is like a Chucky Cheese on steroids, no joke people. My parents would have never been able to get me out of that place when I was little. They have a gigantic claw machine, no jokes I think this claw could pick a small child. Well anyways I won April a huge dolphin out of it. Then on Sunday we went to Water World, which as a blast except for we blistered the bottoms of our feet, due to the really hot sidewalks. Then Sunday night was the Brazilian steakhouse, with Mike and his fiancé. Let’s just say, hands down the best meat I have ever eaten in my life and I mean ever. Well this last weekend was a blast; I can’t wait for her to come back down over the 4th of July!

Well happy hump day everyone! So the week is halfway done which only means one thing, April comes on Friday.
This last weekend was a blast; we had a blast at the Rockies game and the concert. It was really fun booing Many Ramirez with the whole stadium, I think it’s really hilarious when everyone just hates a single player, especially when every stadium boos him in the MLB except for his own which I bet he gets a couple there also. I think my parents really enjoyed going to the game since it was their first MLB game ever, it was good to see them really get into the atmosphere, like by doing the wave and going down to the front row to try and get up close pictures. Then the concert on Sunday night was amazing, we all had a blast especially my mom, who is a rock’n roll FREAK. Red rocks is a badass place to watch a concert from, with all the rocks around you and you can even see Denver from it, so at night it looks really sweet. Well everyone I hope you enjoy my pictures and also have a good week!!!!
