<p>There are many tasks that will absolutely suck up your time if you are not careful. Tasks that if you paid someone to do, would pay at or less than minimum wage in most cases. Examples, vacuuming your car, washing your car, mowing your <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/lawn/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with lawn">lawn</a>, doing laundry, etc. I think you get the picture. Those tasks can be delegated to someone that is willing to do the work for <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/cheap/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with cheap">cheap</a> or nothing at all, while you do the work that makes you a considerable income.</p>
<p>What are tasks that create income for you? Let’s just stick with what the Millionaires in our industry do. They coach and train their downline to be more effective at recruiting and sharing the business opportunity with others. They are constantly learning to be better mentors, speakers, managers, motivators, closers, teachers and innovators. They are meeting with people in order to share the business opportunity that made said millionaire a <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/fortune/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with fortune">fortune</a>. These types of tasks build long term and <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/residual-income/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with residual income">residual income</a>, income that can be measured in the hundreds or even thousands of dollars per hour over the long term.</p>
<p>So you see, again, delegation is not really a <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/millionaire-secret/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with millionaire secret">Millionaire Secret</a> by any means, but it is not readily taught either. Take a pen and piece of <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/paper/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with paper">paper</a> and write two lists. One list of the tasks that can be delegated to someone you either pay or get to do at no charge. The second list consists of the tasks that will make you money in droves. Start delegating the low paying tasks and do the high paying work on a consistent, <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/daily/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with daily">daily</a> basis. Over time, and a very short time I might add if you do this <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/daily/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with daily">daily</a>, you will see tremendous returns on the time spent doing the work that can make you a fortune!</p>

Why? Because Multi-Level Marketing has its ups and downs and there are times when its ups are really up and there are times when its downs are really down. Not fun to be on this roller coaster ride at times, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. There are three things that I have done in my career that have helped to level out the ups and downs along the way.</p>
<p>#1 &#8211; Sought Help &#8211; I asked for help from people that have gone through the same thing I am going through because they are on the same road I am, just a little farther up the path. I seek out people that have extremely positive attitudes and get fed shots of positivity from them in my low times. I stay in constant contact with my <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/upline/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with upline">upline</a> in order to stay on track and be coached through the rough times and pushed forward during the great times.<br />
<span id="more-4163"></span><br />
#2 &#8211; Focus on the <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/big-picture/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with big picture">big picture</a> &#8211; It is easy to get distracted by individual trees and <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/bushes/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with bushes">bushes</a> while in the forest. But guess what, some of those <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/bushes/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with bushes">bushes</a> and trees are downright poisonous. Some of them are incredibly beautiful, but get into the habit of looking at the entire forest, not just one or two bad ones or one or two good ones. The entire forest is a thing of wonder and beauty. Same thing with the Multi-Level Marketing journey. It’s a wonderful experience, but it is necessary to look past the valleys and mountains along the way and keep your sites on the destination.</p>
<p>#3 &#8211; Never give up &#8211; I have never given up. I have been at this for quite a while and I have an incredible <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/life/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with life">life</a> as a result. I love what <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/tim-allen/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with tim allen">Tim Allen</a> said in Galaxy Quest, “Never give up, never surrender.” It rings true in this industry as well. Never give up on the dream. Never give up on the destination. Never give up on yourself. Never give up, period.</p>
<p>Enjoy the ride along the way. Seek help, stay focused on the big picture, but most of all, never, ever give up. See you at the top. The view from here is spectacular.</p>

So, recruit, recruit, recruit&#8230; build a huge downline and use leverage to your advantage! <p>Millionaires save/invest first and spend what’s left. Poor people spend first and save/invest what’s left. Well guess what, there’s never anything left. A bill collector will wait, why? Because they have to, that’s why! Pay yourself first. Here is a great rule of thumb when it comes to your paycheck. Save 10% of your paycheck no matter what! Talk to a financial advisor or financial planner and set up an account if you must or take part in your company’s 401k. Make it a forced savings if you must, but save it none the less!</p>

<p>Millionaires leverage their money to have it make money for them. This particular thing is known as the <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/rule-of-72/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with rule of 72">rule of 72</a> or compounding interest. The rule states that if you take the interest your money is earning and divide 72 by that <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/number/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with number">number</a>, it will tell you how many years it will take your money to double. For example, a standard savings account interest rate is about 2%. Take that 2% and divide it into 72 and you come up with the <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/number/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with number">number</a> 36. 36 is how many years it will take your money to double. A CD or certificate of deposit is about 3% or it will take 24 years for your money to double. A money market at 4% takes 18 years and a mutual fund at 12% takes 6 years to double. So, out of those options &#8211; a savings account, CD, money market account or mutual fund, which will double your money the fastest? That’s right, a mutual fund.</p>

Situation <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/number/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with number">number</a> one, when a potential client is talking, never, and I mean never talk over them. Listen to what they are telling you. Allow the client to do the talking, nine times out of ten they will tell you exactly how to sell them. Remember, people care less how much you know until they know how much you care. LISTEN to them! My partner on the call was nervous, but he eventually caught himself and started following my lead allowing me to ask the proper questions that got the client talking. My associate answered some of the questions and ended each answer with another open ended question. Needless to say, we closed the deal and are looking forward to a long and lucrative partnership with our new client.</p>
<p>Situation number two, I was getting gas at a local station when I was approached by a young man selling waterless car wash, something I could use on occasion. He asked a few rapport building questions at the beginning when he did his cold approach which immediately caught my attention. He was effective because I had no interest in talking to him, but he broke the ice and pulled me into a conversation. He proceeded to talk about the merits of his product and then asked for the sale. His approach was mild with no pressure, but he soon gave up after I told him no three times. As he was walking away, I turned to him and said, “That’s it? You are giving up that easy?” He had no idea who I was or what I do for a living, but I just gave him permission to close on me some more. He didn’t seize the opportunity and I walked away empty handed. There is an unwritten rule in sales, it takes 5 no’s to get one yes! He had two more no’s to go before I handed him the money and he made the sale. He gave up too soon. And what’s worse, it was a product I could have used!</p>
<p>So how can you transfer these real <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/life/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with life">life</a> lessons to your business? Simple, next time you are on a sales call for your company, let the client do the talking. Let them uncover their path to the sale. Given enough time, they will tell you exactly how to sell them. Also, keep in mind, it takes 5 no’s to get one yes, so keep track of the number of rejections you have received before the client finally says yes. However, if you have the faith in your product the way I have faith in <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/mine/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with mine">mine</a>, don’t give up until they do say yes because I know that <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/isagenix/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with isagenix">Isagenix</a> changes people’s <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/life/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with life">life</a> on a <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/daily/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with daily">daily</a> basis and believe to the core of my being that everyone should be on this product.</p>

In order for your business to grow, you must recruit. No matter how good you are in selling your wares, the power of your <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/residual-income/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with residual income">residual income</a> potential is built by recruiting and building a downline. How do you make that happen? Simple, commit to a <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/number/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with number">number</a> of calls or contacts you will make <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/daily/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with daily">daily</a> for the express purpose of building your business. Let’s use a relatively simple and easy to attain number. 10 calls or contacts a day, 5 days a week. That type of commitment will only take about <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/30-minutes/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with 30 minutes">30 minutes</a> out of your schedule.</p>
<p>Here is what to expect out of those calls.<br />

So, you will schedule one definite appointment to share your business a day or 5 appointments a week. One will definitely reschedule on you, so you will end up doing 4 out of the five appointments. Close just 50% of those appointments and you have added 2 more people to your team that week. Continue doing that week after week and by the end of the year, you will have personally sponsored 104 people.</p>
<p>If that sounds unreasonable, cut that number in half to 52. If that sounds outrageous, cut it in half again to just 26. Still unreasonable? 13? 7? Either way, you have built your team based off of your <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/attitude/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Attitude">attitude</a> and effort. Keep the effort up to just 10 calls a day and keep your <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/attitude/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Attitude">attitude</a> positive because regardless of what the nay sayers have to say, you will build your team by the sheer number of calls you make. Get started now!</p>

What do you do now?<br />

Actually, the answer is easy. <a href="http://blog.drewberman.com/tag/call/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with call">Call</a> them. Not if they&#8217;re still at the event and/or the event is still going on. Give them a couple of days to get back to their business and settled down. A few days can go by without them forgetting you. They will appreciate it if you don’t come on like gangbusters barley moments after you have met. There is plenty of time to continue building your relationship with them and guiding them to the first steps in getting to know their potential new business. What you are doing is deepening the relationship to establish yourself as an expert in your business, and to instill in them a sense of trust that you are not just going to sell, sell, sell, but you are actually going to nurture them when they come on board with you.</p>
<p>Most prospects come to you with a mild, but skeptical, interest in what you are offering. Virtually everyone is getting hit with offers to ‘become your own boss’ or ‘retire a millionaire’ every single day. The Internet is overflowing with them. Especially once the ad-engines discover that you are interested in being your own boss as a home-based entrepreneur. They all sound alike and they all promise the same thing. That isn’t what you are doing…right?</p>

<p>Thoughts of the Millionaire. What makes a millionaire&#8217;s thoughts so much different than the thoughts of ordinary men? Nothing really, it is the ACTION of the millionaire that makes the difference. You see, people have ideas all the time, some of them unique, some of them not so unique.
