I just gathered in bits in pieces some interesting info that maybe everyone else knows. I’m slow in getting on board. It appears that Obama is in bed with JP Morgan/Chase, who are the main funders of the nation’s largest wood distributor; BlueLinx. They are over in Indonesia stripping the rain forests to the tune of I think 300 soccer fields per hour……..maybe it was per minute. I can’t find the website again. This is his formative years homeland & he is so concerned about our environment that he won’t allow off-shore drilling in the US????? What about all those trees? Doesn’t he have the brains to realize that will affect the environment of the entire world? Also, what about lending 2 billion to Brazil to off-shore drill there? No environmental issue? Where does that 2 billion come from? We are in the tank! Any comment? janieardell@yahoo.com

Great post! I really enjoy reading your blog. Keep up the good work.

I’ve just started a new blog that will be highlighting the dangerous advances of the secular progressive movement (pro-gay “rights”, pro-abortion, anti-religious freedoms, etc). Unfortunately, most Christians still don’t know what’s going on out there and the mainstream media certainly isn’t covering it.

We’re looking to build a solid group of social conservatives (especially Mike Huckabee supporters) who’ll frequent the site regularly and contribute to some good discussions. I live in a town of less than 5000 people, that has 27 churches!
Aside from the major denoms the rest are storefront black churches.
I am astounded at these peoples piety, yet they overwhelmingly voted for Obama because of the color of his skin.
It makes me so very sad that they were and are willing to support this man.
God help us!

PS You need to write some more!

Yes, your suspicions are correct: many black “churches” are preaching a variant of Trinity’s black liberation theology.

I fear for those people. When the Day of Judgment comes, I wonder how many of them will be surprised when the Lord says to them, “I never knew you. Depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.” (Mt 7:21-23).

One only wonders if these black churches are preaching the gospel or black liberation theology as Reverend Wright’s church does. At least with the latter as an excuse, Obama and his congregation can point out how they can be both Democrat & “Christian.”

Funny, I was thinking today that Powell only made the endorsement because he’s tired of being constantly attacked by other blacks. Tired of all the derogatory comments about how he’s not a “real black man.” Just goes to show that he never really had the cojones in the first place.

Wow! I hadn’t read that information anywhere before when I had done some research before Gardasil hit the market. My objection is that Gardasil doesn’t eliminate the need for routine pap smears, which is the real method of testing for cervical cancer. Also, it’s still very new so any woman/girl who receives is now is a guinea pig. The advertising makes it sound like it’s practically guaranteed that a woman won’t ever get HPV or cervical cancer, but it’s not the case at all.
