Well, a computer & hard drive failure kept me from getting these photos posted in a timely fashion.

I’ve seen Shadows Fall a few times now and they never disappoint. Thanks to a very good friend, I was able to shoot this show with a Nikon D4, and the Nikkor holy trinity (14-24, 24-70, 70-200). I never want to shoot a show with anything else again. The low light capabilities of the D4 are pretty unreal.

The last time I shot Shadows I had stage access to shoot Jason, so I have quite a few shots of Jason and his entire kit. This time around, I thought I would try getting some close ups with the 70-200. I spent most of my night following Brian around with the 14-24. Brian likes to move around a lot, and tends to make some pretty impressive jumps. I’ve always wanted to catch a shot of him mid-air, and I finally got my wish during this show.

I actually have quite a few more photos that I could add to this but, due to the aforementioned hard drive failure, I can’t get to them right now. I have backups and I will get to them eventually.
