Trwyn Du Lighthouse

Trwyn Du Lighthouse is a lighthouse located between the beach of Penmon and the Puffin Island of Anglesey. It is 29m tall and was design by James Walker and built in 1835-1838. The light can be seen from as far as 12 nautical miles from it, and since 1996 the lighthouse has been powered by solar. The base of the lighthouse uses a stair-case-like design to slow down waves from moving to the upper side of the light house.

Do you know that Canola comes from the word "Canadian Oil, Low Acid"? The Hub Cafe and Restaurant. The building is situated on the Royal Mile, at the centre of Edinburgh. Just several hundred metres away from the beautiful Edinburgh Castle. Not to be deceived by the medieval look of the outside, the hub has a high class and modern cafe and restaurant inside it. This picture is a HDR.
