Started many years ago as a landscape tutorial I finally managed to finish this for a friend last week. I hope you like it.

Simple Gingerbread House $50.00

This clay gingerbread house was made from foamcore, paperclay, and texture paints. It is mounted to a beveled piece of pine, stained and painted with little button feet. It is lit from within with a LED nightlight bulb so that it remains cool with a rocker switch on the cord.

"Fairy Station" - A Whimsical Tollhouse

I started Fairy Station about a week, and it keeps growing and growing. So fun to build it but it is time consuming, but each night I put the exacto knife down I have a big smile on my face. It's got so much character.

If you haven't been following on Facebook here is a quick catch-up. Enjoy!

Then in the next seating it went from something that had really no shape to this...

Then within a few days it goes from plain to some added details...

Things around here have been slow, very slow for the past few months. Those who received our newsletter in the beginning of the year know that I was planning on closing the Dragonscale Miniatures Web Shop. It is now closed for business. It's pretty much been closed for a long time now, no orders since February. I guess there is so much competition out there on the web that I didn't have much of a chance.

I am still building roomboxes but mainly for myself, and for gifts.

Don't forget to visit us at the Bridgewater Arts and Crafts Festival on the Fourth of July!

Construction of "Fairy Junction" Begins

It's been a while since I last created but I'm getting ready for this Fourth of July's Arts, Crafts, & Music Festival. So today I've started on one of two new roomboxes "Fairy Station". Below are the beginnings of this new whimsical roombox.

Stonehouse Winery is a 1:12" scaled miniature roombox. It is extremely light, which makes it very safe putting it on a bookshelf or such, yet it is very sturdy and durrable. Both the interior and exterior are covered with Creative Paperclay™. The stone, concrete, and stuccoed walls, are hand carved into this clay and then hand painted for a natural effect. The roof is also shingled with clay tiles to look like slate.

This is completely handcrafted custom and one of a kind roombox with at least 100 hours of constucting, carving clay (and I must say a lot of time has gone into carving each and every stone on this one), painting, I believe I have listed the starting price accordingly.

Each of the Custom Roomboxes I create are signed and numbered for authenticity. Stonehouse Winery is #18 in the collection.

Customizing is Available

I would be more than happy to do additional customization on this roombox for you. Such as adding doors or window panes, shutters, or even a bit of landscaping. Please contact us to discuss this option.
