New DSiWare for 12/21

It's Monday, and the DSiWare store is once again filled with new games. This week, a handheld take on the card game UNO is available for 800 Nintendo DSi Points. Dragon's Lair fully animated classic arcade game, is also 800 points. Another 800 point game is Hot and Cold: A 3D Hidden Object Adventure, which is, as the title may suggest, a hidden object game. Those of you looking for a cheaper card game can grab High Stakes: Texas Hold'Em. Lastly, another notebook app titled myNotebook: Green can be purchased for 200 DSi points.

Atlus U.S.A has announced that all launch copies of the upcoming DS game Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey will come packaged with a soundtrack CD. The soundtrack will feature music from composer Shoji Meguro, who also scored Persona 3 and 4. Strange Journey comes out on March 23, 2010. The new DSi LL has already been released in Japan, and will be released as the DSi XL in North America next year, but we almost had a different handheld entirely. Nintendo has released this picture of an extra-large DS Lite that was once in the works. This one boasted a 3.8 inch rather than the 4.2 inches that the DSi LL has. Nintendo decided to scrap this project and released the DSi instead, but it's neat to see what might have been.

It's Monday, and once again, the DSiWare store is filled to the brim with new games and applications. A DSi LITTLEST PET SHOP game is now available for 800 points.
Miami Nights, a interesting new life sim game, is also 800 Nintendo DSi Points. A version of Bejeweled Twist that features a Nintendo DS Battle mode costs 500 Nintendo DSi Points. A port of the Wii game Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam costs 500 points as well. Lastly, Master of Illusion Express: Matchmaker helps you to perform magic tricks for your friends for the cost of 200 Nintendo DSi Points. Head over to the DSiWare store to check these games out.

Etrian Odyssey 3 Confirmed

This week's issue of Famitsu confirmed what many games were hoping- there will be an Etrian Odyssey 3! The staff announced for the game are as follows:

Shigeo Komori as director
Yuzo Koshiro as sound composer
Shin Nagasawa as monster designer
Yuji Himukai as character designer.

The game will still feature the dungeon crawling that the series is famous for, but now it will also have sea exploration and new character classes. Etrian Odyssey 3 comes out in Japan on March 4, 2010. A US release date has yet to be announced.
