“Fifty Shades of Grey” is a New York Times #1 bestselling erotic fiction paperback and e-book by E. L. James  that traces the deepening relationship between college graduate Anastasia Steele and a young business magnate, Christian Grey. It is notable for its explicitly erotic scenes featuring elements of BDSM.

So if you like Twilight fanfiction, you’ll love the book.  If you thinks it’s goofy, you’ll love it when Gilbert Gottfried reads it as an audiobook!

It’s been four years since the writer’s strike ridden Quantum of Solace hit theaters and left us all a little ‘meh.’ Now the folks behind 007 have regrouped and gathered up veteran director Sam Mendes (Road to Perdition, American Beauty) and the Coen Brothers cinematographer Roger Deakins to bring back Daniel Craig’s Bond in a cool way. Sweet.

Check out the first trailer for the new James Bond movie, Skyfall, opening in movie theaters this November.

And if you have seen a movie trailer for Battleship, MIB 3, The Cabin in the Woods, The Hunger Games, or about any other movie lately than you’ve heard their work. But what drew me to them was the music for the upcoming Alien non-prequel, Prometheus.

It’s not a prequel. It’s not a sequel. It’s an equal!

I just made that up. Ridley Scott, feel free to use it in your campaign as Prometheus opens in theaters on June 1st and twelve minutes later I O.D. on soda and popcorn while violently shaking from excitement in the theater waiting for the trailers to end and the awesome ride to begin.

Anchorman 2, the sequel to the 70′s news team comedy starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carrell is coming back to the big screen for the first time in almost a decade thanks to a teaser trailer in theaters this weekend. Even with the trailer out and filming set to begin soon with a 2013 release.

Hard to believe it will be almost 9 years between movies but good things come to those who wait.

So what does the television show Community and the video game Battlefield 3 have in common?

Well, if you remember the trampoline episode, where Troy and Jeff found nirvana bouncing in a garden, than you’ll appreciate this little diddy from BF3 vet Birgirpall.  With a little help from the guys at Lonely Island and their single “I’m on a boat,” Birg has found a new way to mix C4 and boats for something rather spectacular.

But there’s a glimmer of hope for something different when Treyarch, the designer of Black Ops, released this trailer for the sequel to one of the best selling games of all time. I’ve been stuck in Battlefield 3 for awhile until that last patch threw up toll roads in the form of Rented Servers and became a haven of glitches and problems that are being ignored by the developer.

Shame, too. Used to be a good game.

So now the anticipation turns from grabbing the Battlefield 3 DLC’s, which I won’t do until EA/DICE fix their shit and it doesn’t look like they’re in a hurry to do so, to waiting to see if Black Ops 2 will be worth the hype.

In a scene from last weeks Community on NBC, this pair of extras was caught in the background coming out of a building. One keen observer noted something was a bit off and, well, Zoom and Enchance!!

You’ll see a zoom in on the scene and a woman walking out, wiping her lips, and a guy walking out and zipping up his pants. Wow. If you’re like me and curious as to whether or not this is planned, it turns out that series Buddha Dan Harmon didn’t plan it.

Guess it’s a good time to be a farmer because if this video is going on national TV than they must be doing good.

Good enough to make a new commercial. On the other hand, why mess with greatness.

Toss in a couple of references to HBO’s The Wire, namely a ‘bunk’ reference and Omar’s “Gotta Have A Code” talk and I will be rewatching this episode a few times again to see what I missed.

It kinda is. It’s really just a map pack for MW3 with no evolution to pushing the game anywhere new.

But the problem with video games online, which is amplified by MW3 more than any other game, is that violent video games is highly marketed toward kids and teens who just happen to have headsets.

And to be honest, they just don’t have the mental capacity to understand what they are saying into their mics. Hitting up a forum and hearing a bunch of tweens is very disheartening.

One guy had a bit too much of a feisty little prick and decided to record the angry kid and then play back the audio so that this stupid kid, who I’m thinking by the end of the video is to stupid to walk upright, ends up arguing with himself for several minutes.

You might think he’d figure it out. I was hoping he would eventually get the joke but instead he just kept reading from the Teenagers Guide To Talking Trash on Multiplayer Games. It’s a short book and there’s not much to it. Just roll of stupid insults and talk about how good your rank is. Pretty standard but extremely hilarious when you consider the situation of this idiot arguing with himself….and losing.
