<p>The Group will be opening four new hotels over the next three years; three hotels on Habtoor Island as well as the Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah, <strong>creating many employment opportunities.</strong></p>

<p>GCC airports are expected to handle as many as 250 million passengers by 2020, with the <strong>Middle East</strong> estimated to have the third fastest passenger growth rate of 6.6% by 2016.</p>
<p><strong>In terms of employment,</strong> the aviation industry is projected to create an additional 294,000 jobs in the GCC over the next 15 years.</p>

<p>Too many expats have high expectations and often make unrealistic salary demands, which are proving  difficult to meet.</p>
<p>According to recruitment experts in the country, the economy is in much better shape, but <strong>expat expectations are often misguided</strong> and in many cases out of touch with reality.</p>
<p>“<em>Quite often they are too high</em>,” says Gareth Clayton, Director Finance and Banking at Charterhouse Partnership.  But, high expectations may not necessarily translate into what is finally offered.</p>

<p>The competition, <em>sponsored in the UAE by Du and hosted by Dubai Internet Cit</em>y, seeks to highlight young technical talent across the region and connect them with job opportunities in the growing digital sector which could be either as the technical co-founders for new startups, or the leads of technical teams in established companies.</p>
<p><strong>The Dubai tournament will kick off at 8:00 AM on April 20th in Conference Halls 1 &amp; 2 of Dubai Knowledge Village.</strong></p>
