Life as ongoing configuration

As techno-tweaker-wanttoknowall-integrator engineer mentality, I encounter several realization that life is an ongoing configuration changes for ... life itself!

As we woke up, we are configuring ourselves to be ready for the day. There are classes to attend if you are student, meeting to attend if you are a worker, house to clean/ keep if you are a housewife/husbang, and other stuff that you are getting your mind set and ready.

How about retired folks? They do similar things! Maybe a bit lesser, as they don't have any 'demand' to be somewhere at certain time.

How about business folks, athletes, president, etc? Well, they also do the same thing dear.

Once we are ready for our morning, then the day usually starts with any upcoming schedule that has been planned, or anything that comes.

Some of us may drive to go to our next venue, some of us take public transport. Regardless of the travel method, we have started the just-in-time configuration.

When you drive, you can't always just drive straight and leave the steering wheel unturned, even for a single degree. That's the configuration that I am talking about.

When you walk, you will surely encounter anything: passersby, neighbor, pooping dog, incoming cars/ bikes/ or any moving or steady objects.

If we look at it in the higher degree, we keep changing the configuration to adjust our surrounding or to match with our activity.

We can't let our eyes wide open if the lighting is too bright! (some of us do, but that's another story and for uncommon reason). We can't let ourself keep walking if we know there is a wall standing in front of us. We can't just sit still if there is a water dripping on our clothes! (don't ask me how those water started to drip in the first place).

Therefore, as a dynamic creature, we are demanded to keep changing our configuration and not just sit still.

Even if we sit still, we still need to adjust to the change of our surrounding!

Make the change now folks! Make the change today! Configure yourself to get to your objective, and ultimately towards your dreams!

Happy Memorial Day!

As strange as it is written, human logic tends to work in an amazing thought process.

Imagine the following:

You have been kept busy with your tasks

You have achieved so much that you and people around you start noticing that you are the 'expert' for a particular subject, discipline, or technology

You have been set to focus on ensuring you stay abreast with general knowledge, yet keep the expertise improved every day

You have tried to make life easy by making certain things 'pre-scripted' and just let someone else' do it, repetetively

At one point, especially if you are me, you may get bored in doing the same thing over and over again, even though you keep finding something new every day (down from every minute or every hour when you just learned about any stuff).

Just another blog entry in March 2012

Finally I got a short time to blog in this loyal server of mine that has been sitting and serving you all.

Just with a blink of an eye, it is now nearly the end of March 2012! How time flies!

What has been happening in your world? What contributions have you done to the society? How much effort that you have put in that maybe ready for you to harvest the result? All sort of questions that can be simplified as "What's up?" between us.

In my world, a lot of things had happened, even though it may not be major, groundbreaking, or maybe even worth noticing.

Been to some other State, helping customers, working on projects, and on top of all: over-worked.

No complaint about being over-worked, which makes me better in doing my time and task management. I am better amongst the best, I am more efficient amongst tight schedule, and I works the best under pressure (the 'good' kind of pressure, nothing about 'rushing').

There are still a lot more things that I wanted or wished to do, yet I felt time is not in my good companion so far. But, with proper strategy and planning, I bet I can achieve those items in my 'check list', crossed them off, and move on to do the next item in my list.

So, how about you? Tell me more about it, and I will be more than happy to discuss it in some sort of down time situation.

See you all in the next blog entry!

After the hectic work schedule in the last 3-4 months, I just managed to catch up with my personal email.

One of the email caught my attention: my 10-years-old Cisco Certification is going to expire next year. For those who are Cisco Certification followers will surely know that you will get this reminder 90 days before your certification expiry.
