No Shampoo…Going No Poo Can Work Wonders…


No shampoo for 3 months? Yes, it is true. I have not shampooed my hair in close to four months. Call me nasty? No I’m not. I didn’t say wash. I said shampoo.


Actually what I do is I use a product…well actually two products that you could find in your kitchen. If you don’t have them in your kitchen, you can find them at your local grocery store. They have actually made a great difference in the look and feel of my hair. It might be uncomfortable at first, but give it some time and you would never want to go back to shampoo. Some people actually claim that it is great for getting rid of dandruff.


I don’t have dandruff, so I can’t say that it does. Going without shampoo has done wonders for my hair. I will always wash my hair with baking soda and condition with vinegar unless I’m in a situation where I have no choice but to use shampoo. Going No Poo…no shampoo works really well for me. My sister just can’t get used to pouring vinegar in her hair. So she is using Wen Hair Care System It smells really great and she swears by it.

Now Let’s Get Back To My Regimen…

After I rinse my hair thoroughly with the apple cider vinegar, the smell is very faint and it goes away completely in less than a half hour. However, I use Carol’s Daughter, Tui Leave-in Conditioner after towel drying my hair. It’s smells soooo good. Many people smell my hair from a mile away (smile). I use two of the Kinky-Curly products after I finish washing and conditioning my hair with Apple Cider Vinegar.


I use the Curling Custardand the Knot Today. I use very little of each product in my hair. Most people use the Curling Custard to achieve a tight curly look. I use it to add a silky touch to my hair. I use very little in my hair after it’s towel dried.
