Only three months remain until Electric Castle fans will experience the 12th edition of the festival, taking place July 16–19 at Banffy Castle in Bonțida. Organizers have announced the daily schedule for over 200 artists and have released one-day tickets starting at €89 + fees. These, along with full festival passes, are available on electriccastle.ro.

The castle party starts a day before the official opening. On Wednesday, July 15, the EC Village campsite will host a sleepover party featuring Wilkinson and Partiboi69, open to all attendees regardless of their ticket type.

Thursday, July 16 – The first festival day offers a well-balanced mix of alternative rock, hip-hop, and electronic music. Kneecap, the hip-hop trio known for political messages and a provocative style, will take the stage, alongside Sleaford Mods with their punk sound. Indie energy comes from Balu Brigada, while Solardo and SG Lewis deliver sophisticated dance sets ranging from tech house to refined electro-pop. Romanian artists are present from day one, with HVNDS, E-an-na, and The Mono Jacks reminding audiences how strong the local rock scene is.

Friday, July 17 – This is the day when superstars twenty one pilots and Teddy Swims headline the main stage. Electronic music fans will face tough choices with a packed lineup including Mochakk, one of the most acclaimed global house artists, Skream & Benga, pioneers of British dubstep, and Subtronics with a modern, aggressive bass sound. ANNA will impress with hypnotic techno, while Kölsch keeps the energy high with his already “classic” melodic and cinematic sets.

Saturday, July 18 – Brings more memorable moments: LP captivates with emotional pop-rock, Nothing But Thieves delivers intense indie rock, and Chase & Status raise adrenaline levels with explosive drum & bass. In the dance area, Jax Jones plays house hits, while Denis Sulta offers an eclectic disco-house mix. The lineup also includes more experimental acts like Yung Lean and Bladee with cloud rap influences, as well as Deep Dish with classic house sets.

Sunday, July 19 – The festival finale is reserved for legendary names and fresh appearances. The Cure bring their iconic post-punk and gothic rock sound, Wet Leg offer playful indie rock, and Dogstar, the band of Keanu Reeves, add alternative rock vibes. The atmosphere is enriched with global influences: YĪN YĪN deliver psychedelic oriental rhythms, Acid Arab blend electronic music with traditional Arabic sounds, and Gerd Janson presents a generous disco-house selection.

Only in April, tickets and festival passes are available at half price, limited to 3,000 units throughout the month. Spectacular line-up: Romanian and international artists on the same stage

This year’s edition brings an impressive line-up of renowned artists, beloved public figures, and major international names. The audience will enjoy performances by Fantomel & Kate Linn with “Dame un GRR” and OMERIT (Baha Men), creator and performer of the global hit “Who Let the Dogs Out,” Grammy winners with multiple nominations, alongside Boney M. Xperience and Kaoma with the iconic “LAMBADA.”

They will be joined by Rareș, Iuliana Beregoi, Gașca Zurli, Horia Brenciu, Familia Melimi, Alina Sorescu, and Geo Da Silva. The stage experience will be enhanced by special appearances from Bisoi Petruț, Theo Zeciu, Daniel Cafeluță, Dorian Popa, Mircea Bravo, and Father Vasile Ioana.

The vibrant festival atmosphere will once again be energized by Carnaval Rio by Wilmark, bringing color, energy, and spectacle both to the Grand Parade that officially opens and closes the festival, and to the Main Stage.

The 2026 edition introduces new experiences, including even more complex themed areas—such as RemediumLand with interactive programs for children and teenagers, and the Vel Pitar zone, a space dedicated to both kids and adults where the aroma of fresh bread and pastries blends with the joy of play and discovery through “Bakery and Fun.”

For the first time, attendees will also have access to food truck areas, music competitions, sports contests, workshops, and special activities for parents.

These are complemented by music, magic, juggling, and acrobatics shows for children, as well as returning favorites available all day, every day: the giant outdoor pool, helicopter flights and skydiving, Dino Park, Adrenaline Tower, Enchanted Forest, dozens of inflatable slides, arts & crafts workshops, horseback riding, and more.

Opened by superstars The Cure, twenty one pilots and Teddy Swims, completed by rock sensations Wet Leg, Nothing But Thieves and LP, with an extravagant hip-hop selection that includes Kneecap, Yung Lean & Bladee, and top-tier electronic acts ensured by Mochakk, Chase & Status or Subtronics, the lineup blends established names and avant-garde artists who redefine genres. All with a touch of Hollywood sparkle, through the presence of Keanu Reeves via Dogstar, in Bonțida. The presence of The Cure and twenty one pilots has already thrilled the entire Electric Castle community, and rightly so: it is a privilege to listen live, at a single festival edition, to two bands already confirmed by music history and millions of fans worldwide. The excitement goes out of control with the confirmation of Teddy Swims as a premiere for the festival and for Romania: it’s impossible for anyone to have missed the “Lose Control” fever, the hit that propelled Teddy Swims to soul-pop star status. Three names that say a lot about how the main stage of the 12th EC edition will look: Wet Leg, LP and Nothing But Thieves. From a viral single in 2021 to two Grammy Awards in 2023, Wet Leg quickly became one of the most awarded names in British indie. Live, the band delivers hits like “Chaise Longue”, “Wet Dream” and “Ur Mum” in a formula that combines post-punk effervescence, feminist attitude and the perfect festival euphoria. They are joined by LP (Laura Pergolizzi), the unmistakable voice from New York, artist and songwriter who wrote songs for Rihanna and Christina Aguilera before the hit “Lost on You” became a European phenomenon. Part of the same equation of major live shows is also Nothing But Thieves, the band with top albums, billions of streams and concerts you feel deep in your soul.
