Somehow this one braved the weather for over 20 years without being opened.

This auction is for an Apple IIGS computer system. This computer has never been out of its package before. One flap has been opened on the top of the box but the other one is still holding well (you can’t get the computer out without having both flaps opened.) You can tell that this box has never been opened by the darkness of the tape due to age and the fact that there is only one piece of tape that has been applied. The box is in excellent condition considering its age as it has only a minute amount of discoloration. The model of this computer is A256010. The serial number is E820K4ZAS6000.
On another note, some idiot wrote on the top of the box, “Never Used”, “As New” and “Factory Sealed.” Some people.
Basically this is a museum piece of vintage computer history.

  The limited edition Mac TV had a bit of an identity crisis. It came in a black LC 520-style case. (It is one of only a few Macs to have ever been black.) It came with a cable-ready TV tuner card, and included a CD-ROM drive. Only 10,000 Mac TVs were made before it was discontinued. However, Its TV-tuner card has become a popular option on many LCs and Performas.

This original Apple Macintosh lighted sign just sold on eBay for $1,000. Apple released these signs in 1984 to Apple retailers for display, this is the first I’ve ever seen come up for auction.

This item is very unique.

This is really a piece of art.

In 1984 before the Macintosh was introduced, every dealer received one of these signs. 

We were told at the time that there were only 1000 of them made.

It’s made of glass that is about 3/8 an inch thick (slightly more than 1 cm).

It is smooth on the front surface.

The design is carved out on the back of the glass.

The “Picasso” like drawing of the Mac has had some of the groves colored, accenting various parts.  Where the word Macintosh and the Apple Logo in the upper right have not been colored, and appear white or translucent.

The glass is 10 inches (approximately 12 cm) square.

The glass rests in the slot on the plastic base which is Apple beige in color. 

The base is 13 1/4 in. wide (34 cm) by 2 in. wide (5.5 cm) by 2 in. tall (5.5 cm)

There is a florescent light at the bottom of the slot where the glass fits and the light shines up through the glass, highlighting the etched areas.

The on/off switch for the light is on one end of the base (it can be seen in one of the photos).

I have sold many Macintosh items in the past, and have never seen one of these for sale before.

This 1994 Apple QuickTake 200 digital camera just sold on eBay for $120. The Apple QuickTake (codenamed Venus, Mars, Neptune) was one of the first consumer digital cameras. It was launched in 1994 by Apple Computer and was marketed for three years before being discontinued in 1997. Three models of the product were built including the 100 and 150, both built by Kodak; and the 200, built by Fujifilm. The QuickTake cameras had a display resolution of 640 x 480 pixels maximum. The 100 and 200 models are only directly compatible with the Apple Macintosh, while the 150 model is compatible with both the Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows. Because the QuickTake 200 is almost identical to the Fuji DS-7, Fuji’s software for that camera can be used to gain Windows compatibility for the QuickTake 200.

This auction is for slightly used but in good shape Apple Computer shoes from the mid to early 90s, these weren’t ever put into production, these were demo prototypes to see if they would use them as promotional items, but as you can tell if you are looking at this then you know you haven’t nor will ever see one of these, shoe size is 8.5 US.

This 1993 prototype of the Macintosh Quadra just sold on eBay for $800. One wonders how many of these old prototype machines are now making it out of the Apple labs. Anyone know what Department 5914 is?

ONE (1) Vintage Apple Macintosh Quadra “Cyclone/Tempest” Prototype Computer.  Circa 1993/1994.  Has a 68040 on board & a 601 upgrade board.  500mb hard drive, 20mb ram, 3.5″ floppy drive, & Caddy loading CD-ROM drive.  Missing one case foot.  This system has been tested & appears to be in working order.  It boots to the desktop with Macintosh OS 7.6.1.  The auction is for the system only, there is no keyboard, monitor, mouse, cd caddy, manuals, disks, etc.  Uses standard Macintosh monitor & standard ADB keyboard & mouse (readily available on eBay).  Good cosmetic condition.  A few usual light scuffs & scratches.  As previously mentioned, it does work - but is being sold “as-is” (no guarantees, no returns) - due to age.  This would make a nice addition to your valuable collection, certainly worthy of a computer museum.  Please see photos for more details.

One of the very few examples of NES porn, and indeed 1980s video game porn, was Bubble Bath Babes. This cartridge of Bubble Bath Babes just sold  for $510 on eBay.

Although the game was not licensed by Nintendo it is designed for play on the Nintendo Entertainment System. A few obvious factors that show the game was unlicensed are the odd cartridge shape, the odd sticker shape (no label on the top), and the color of the cartridge. These attributes can also be recognized on other unlicensed video games such as Bible Adventures and Gauntlet. The game is also one of a few pornographic video games released in the 1980s, the most infamous being Custer’s Revenge. The game was designed and released without Nintendo’s permission because of its pornographic elements.

The gameplay is reminiscent of that of Tetris and Puzzle Bobble in that the goal is to steer clusters of rising bubbles and place them so that they connect to other bubbles of similar color along the top of the screen. If the sufficient amount of similar bubbles are touching, they will be cleared and all free neighboring bubbles will rise further, allowing for combos. If the accumulated bubbles on screen reach the bottom of the playing area, the game is over. If a level is beat, the player will be rewarded with crudely drawn erotica.
