Hi
A couple of us are looking to (re)establish a Java User Group in our city.
Past interest seems to have been low and we have a population size thatsuggests it may be difficult to maintain interest.

So on the off chance that you have been involved with establishing a groupand/or are currently involved in one I just wondered if you had any avoidthis or do this type advice at all?
Anyway, any advice would be glady received :-)
CheersShane

Currently on my site all my 'pages' are saved in the db. Each page has a 'counter' field.

But now I want to keep track of how many times a page was viewed perday/week/months.

I could:
1- Have a huge table that saves the page id and the date, (and totalthose numbers when I need to see the 'stats' for a given date range),2- Have a smaller table that has a page id, ....

Hello,
When I look at ps, which number, VSIZE or RSS, is more directlyrelated to the 3 G limit? That is, does the process die with amemory allocation failure when VSIZE crosses 3 G, or when RSS does?
I'm guessing the answer is VSIZE, but I really don't know thatfor sure. Thanks for any light you can shed on this question.
