Dr. Michael Tharp has selected to review these articles because they reflect his treatment choices for patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria who are resistant to antihistamines, which can be challenging to the clinician. Chronic urticaria is defined as intermittent (at least 3 times per week) or continuous hives that last for 6 weeks.
