The VFV (Very Fun Vehicle) concept car is a funky city car concept which uses large glass panels wherever possible in order to increase the sense of space inside the car. The VFV also a concept created by Nuno Teixiera (see also MYBUS concept).

In the event of a collision, safety of the occupants for the VFV concept car is provided by a strong tubular skeleton with built in crumple zones to reduce the force of the crash, and for side impacts toughened glass features on the lower portions of the door.

Infiniti Essence Concept Car

Infiniti Essence is a concept which designed to celebrates 20 year existence of the brand. Infiniti Essence concept has been premiered in Geneva Motor Show and features rear-wheel drive coupe, two-seater, and a front engine.

While powered by a hybrid system, Infiniti Essence concept may develops 600PS (592bhp). Infiniti Essence also features 3.7-litre V6 gasoline engine that develops 440PS (434bhp) as it has been fitted with twin turbochargers.

Infiniti Essence also showcases a new type of electric motor, called a 3D Motor, that takes the power output up by 160PS (158bhp). The electric motor is particularly slim, disc-shaped and offers twice the torque of a conventional unit.

ESSENCE: THE CONCEPT

"An Infiniti Essence owner is characterised by his or her fearless self confidence; he or she is an intellectual hero rather than just a successful money maker." Francois Bancon, General Manager Advanced Product Planning

Infiniti Essence began life not in the design studio but in Infiniti's product planning department. Francois Bancon, General Manager Advanced Product Planning, and his team might not, at the start of the project, have known how Essence would look, but they did know what it had to be, why it had to exist - and who it would appeal to.

"Infiniti Essence is a brand icon," Francois Bancon said. "It is driven more by a conceptual approach than by any design execution. It is not just an object. It isn't a teaser for a new model. It is solely dedicated to Infiniti brand promotion, to demonstrate and advocate the Infiniti unique values."

The concept called for a very clear understanding of who the super-luxury coupe's potential customers would be. Painstakingly, Bancon and his team of advanced product planners built up a picture of a typical Essence owner. It was a profile that showed an uncompromising, risk-taking 42-year-old passionate about the best things in life, but equally passionate about not flaunting them. "These consumers don't need to demonstrate to others," said Bancon. "They are already at the next step of achievement that leads to rewarding themselves first."

Francois Bancon went on: "We wanted a new way of mixing various ingredients to get a car that was reserved but with a big presence, something trendy but also indicating the next trend. We wanted a car that aspired to become a cult. It had to be exclusive, smart and mysterious. For the driver, it had to sum up the six-word essence of Infiniti Essence:

ESSENCE IN DETAIL

1. DESIGN: DYNAMIC ADEYAKA

"The design embeds a sense of mystery, a sense of being in the know. Infiniti Essence is not about showing signs of wealth and success." Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President of Design

With breathtaking good looks and perfect proportions, Essence exerts a powerful pull on all those who love cars. It looks like a driver's car, one that would be right at home spearing down the world's grandest motoring routes.

But Infiniti Essence is no aggressive sports car. Infiniti's "Dynamic Adeyaka" attitude ensures Infiniti Essence is single-minded, but also inviting, sophisticated and born of inspiration from both the human and natural worlds. To further boost its emotional appeal, it features details that bring a very modern take to some very old Japanese traditions.

The designers' aim was to merge all existing Infiniti design cues with fresh design language in a shape that the 20-year-old marque has never before attempted. The result is highly sculptural yet also very delicate. Essence speaks of power but not intimidation.

The bonnet is, as you would expect of an Infiniti, long, and the rear deck short. Together with a flowing "wave" profile between muscular front and rear wheelarches, Infiniti Essence at first appears to be in the classic sports car mould. But there is nothing retro about Infiniti Essence.

The side window graphics bring a particularly innovative and distinctive edge to the styling. The window appears to be resting on a ledge, its razor sharp line in contrast to the concave sweep of the upper body just below it. Imagine juxtaposing flowing water with the stark outline of a canyon landscape.

The rear section also features complex surfacing with concave "scoops" that flow down the rear pillars from one of Essence's most distinctive design cues: a C-shaped kink to

the side windows' trailing edge. Outlined by a wide flourish of stainless steel, it adds instant movement to the car even when it is standing still.

One of the most distinctive details is the trim around the side air vents. The simple yet delicate shape, finely finished in aluminium, is based on the "kanzashi", a hairpin used by women when wearing the kimono. Other lines and details are inspired by the wide brush strokes of Japanese calligraphy. Infiniti Essence represents a successful merging of iconic cultural cues with automotive aesthetics.

Infiniti Essence's front is characterised by Infiniti's signature double-arch grille, set at an angle that suggests the car is about to leap forward. There is an illuminated Infiniti badge at its heart. Rounded corners effectively hide the front overhang and make this 4.7m-long car appear anything but big in the flesh.

The grille is framed by subtle strips of stainless steel but there's little other trim and no other grilles or intakes, not even foglights. At the front as over the rest of the car, Essence eschews superfluous body embellishments that could interrupt the graceful strength of the whole. The door handles are slithers of push buttons flush with the body while even rear-view mirrors must make way for minuscule cameras teased out of the A-pillars.

More familiar Infiniti cues include the lights. At the front the signature L-shaped modules taper back on to the bulging guards, picked out at their top edge by a row of LEDs. Slender fillets of red light curve around the car at the back, overlapping with the boot opening and framing the vestigial spoiler. Edged by more stainless steel, the spoiler appears to have been pushed out from within the car.

The windscreen flows back into a full glass roof that then tapers down towards the boot opening - making just one more memorable view of a car that doesn't have a wrong angle to it.

On design, Infiniti Essence is simple and amazingly complex, classical and totally dynamic all at the same time. Most of all as the epitome of "Dynamic Adeyaka" it boasts massive presence. Once seen, never forgotten.

2. INTERIOR: DRIVER-FOCUSED

For a driver's car, the perfect driver's cabin. Infiniti Essence's interior is minimalist, ergonomic and totally focused on the job in hand: to give the person behind the wheel a feeling of absolute control. And yet all this driver focus goes hand in hand with a passenger area dominated by comfort, calm and elegance to offer the kind of hospitality that is so important to the Japanese people, and also to Essence.

The asymmetrical cabin is divided into two areas separated by a large curving console between the seats that sweeps around to merge with the centre of the dashboard. The result is two very distinct cocoons. The driver's side is themed black, the passenger's "cocoon" an earthy red.

A flat-bottomed steering wheel and chronometer-style dials announce to the driver this is a serious performance machine. There are no gimmicks or sci-fi solutions here, just single-minded dedication to driving. Witness the technical nature of the displays, the short, alloy-topped gear selector and, just in front of it another finger-flick away, the bright red engine start button.

The car wraps itself around the driver who can quickly relax with the Infiniti trademarks of supportive seat and perfect driving position. There are more Infiniti cues such as the big gearchange paddle shifters behind the wheel and the analogue clock in the centre of the dash.

Infiniti designers believe the best functionality works behind the scenes, appearing only when needed. They call this "hidden tech", and it's the key to the functional minimalism that dominates the control layout. By not baffling drivers with buttons or overburdening them with information, Infiniti Essence offers a sense of well-being to everyone, allowing them to focus entirely on enjoying the energising driving experience.

With the materials used - leather, Alcantara, hand-painted wood inspired by traditional Japanese lacquerware - the cabin exudes a rich and inviting warmth. Attention to detail is such that even the leather seams on the seat backs differ from left side to right side. Why? So they can accurately reflect the way Japanese men and women tie their kimonos.

Infiniti Essence's interior promotes a sense of well-being which is key to the Infiniti driving experience.

3. DRIVETRAIN: POWER WITH RESPONSIBILITY

Essence's drivetrain is designed to meet the highest expectations of owners by delivering the one thing everyone expects of an Infiniti - sheer driving pleasure. In Infiniti Essence that pleasure is taken to new heights, at the same time as previewing an innovative green hybrid engine.

Infiniti Essence is unusual even in the rarefied atmosphere of the world's fastest road cars by being able to call on a mighty 600PS (592bhp). The power guarantees high performance responses on any road, in any situation. Essence is not, however, an intimidating sports racer. Like the design, the performance is designed to be sophisticated and unobtrusive - performance with a human touch.

The hybrid system is a logical extension of Infiniti parent group's groundbreaking green commitments. It offers power with efficiency, and high performance with zero-emissions running, by combining a petrol engine with an electric motor. These can work independently or together as a "parallel" hybrid system.

In congested urban areas, the electric motor alone is all that is needed for Infiniti Essence to glide silently between stoplights, with no tailpipe emissions.

When the traffic clears, Infiniti Essence responds with a highway performance that few cars could match. In "power assist" mode the full 600PS is unleashed with both petrol and electric power working together.

A key difference over some other hybrid systems is that both the V6 and the electric motor feed their power only to the rear wheels. Performance is more linear, response is crisper - and driving pleasure further enhanced - as a result.

Infiniti's familiar 3.7-litre V6 gasoline engine is fitted with twin turbochargers, boosting power to 440PS (434bhp). A new direct-injection fuel system ensures the engine works more efficiently than ever in Essence.

Infiniti Essence previews a new type of electric motor, called 3D Motor, that was designed to meet tough requirements on size and power output. The result is a particularly slim, disc-shaped motor that has twice the torque of a conventional unit. Its design was achieved by 3D magnetic field analysis to optimise the layout of the electromagnetic coils and permanent magnets.

In Infiniti Essence, the motor is positioned between the engine and transmission and provides 160PS (158bhp), drawing power from a compact lithium-ion battery pack in the boot area. Because the 3D Motor operates in both propulsion and power regeneration modes, the battery pack is kept charged up.

Optimised energy useage across the widest possible range of driving conditions is guaranteed by two separate clutches which "switch in" the motors as required. It is a system that needs no torque converter, further enhancing responsiveness and driving pleasure.

4. SAFETY: A COLLISION-FREE FUTURE

On a global level, Infiniti is committed to building safer vehicles equipped with advanced safety technologies.

Essence previews some of the next-generation safety features that will ensure Infiniti cars remain among the safest on the road. Chief among them is a "Safety Shield" that goes a long way towards the Infiniti engineers' dream of a collision-free car.

The Safety Shield adds two new technologies to the Distance Control Assist (DCA) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) systems that are available in today's production Infinitis. Side Collision Prevention (SCP) and Back-up Collision Prevention (BCP) extend the anti-collision shield all the way around the car.

With SCP, when the driver decides to change lanes, side-mounted sensors activate a warning if an approaching vehicle is detected in the driver's intended lane. A yaw mechanism is then activated through brake control of individual wheels to help prevent a potential collision. Back-up Collision Prevention works in a similar way, sensing a vehicle behind, giving the driver a warning but then, if the warning is not heeded, activating the brakes automatically.

The warning system and pre-emptive safety features are designed to help support the driver in an intuitive manner with minimal intervention.

5. PRACTICALITY: A VERY BESPOKE SOLUTION

The team behind Infiniti Essence harked back to an early motoring era to find the right solution for carrying luggage. The result is as classy as luggage ever gets, surprisingly practical and dreamily romantic. It also re-establishes the historic ties between a carmaker and one of the best-known names in luxury goods - Louis Vuitton.

Vuitton first worked with a coachbuilder - the famous Kellner company - in 1908, equipping one of their early luxury limousines with a set of bespoke luggage. Other coachbuilders quickly beat a path to Vuitton's door in Paris. Made-to-measure Vuitton trunks were an integral feature of some of the greatest cars of the first part of the 20th century.

The collaboration between Infiniti and Vuitton revives the idea of a set of the highest quality luggage made to fit exactly a car's boot area. In Infiniti Essence there are three rigid pieces: a matched pair of slender briefcases atop a large trunk. All are made in the new Damier Graphite canvas and feature sleekly integrated handles and an overall design in harmony with the car itself.

There is hi-tech, too. A button on the key fob electrically opens the boot lid, allowing the boot floor to slide silently rearwards. This is one boot an owner will never have to struggle to access.

In a nod at tradition, the cases even bear the initials of their owner - SN, standing for Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President of Design.

6. INFINITI: 20 YEARS OF PERFORMANCE CARS

The Essence has been 20 years in the making. For that is how long the essence of the marque - its very being, a distillation of everything that Infiniti stands for - has taken to reach its current state of perfection.

The idea behind Infiniti was first discussed in 1985 but it wasn't until November 1989 that the first Infiniti model was sold in North America. Today it is the fastest growing luxury brand in the US.

But it is also far more than just a US brand. Today Infiniti has more than 230 dealers in 15 countries with worldwide sales of 150,000 annually.

Infiniti's success is down to many things, not least the "Dynamic Adeyaka" attitude behind every Infiniti model. When Adeyaka meets The Total Ownership Experience the result is the three pillars of Infiniti: driving pleasure, hospitality and peace of mind.

Honda NSX Mugen RR Concept Car

Honda NSX Mugen RR is a new concept that will be premiered at 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon. However, due to the few information that we've got, we don't have much details and technical information about this Honda NSX Mugen RR concept.

Acura 2+1 Concept Car

Acura 2+1 concept car is a project that was done during Paz's internship at Honda R&D Americas, where it was professionally modeled with assistance from Honda employees.

Acura 2+1 concept car is a creation of designer Leon Paz, and designed to slot in under the replacement NSX in the company's lineup. It is intended as a "gateway" car for buyers that are interested in the NSX but can't afford the steep price.

Acura 2+1 concept car is directed at younger buyers who want a unique and striking vehicle which can reflect their personal style. Acura 2+1 concept car was inspired by the multifaceted trend of "modern baroque-fashion" very elaborate, yet forming an aesthetic whole.

The idea was to show very aggressive styling on the body, but keep it very simple on the top section with a flowing, uninterrupted roof line. The Acura 2+1 concept car's body is formed from a new family of plastics that are extremely light and even harder than fiberglass.

The transparent hood-windscreen-roof section clearly shows off the front mounted V6 twin turbocharged engine which is neatly mounted just aft of the front axle. The 2+1 concept also uses an electrical motor which is powered by a clear solar panel positioned under the glass.

The owner cannot access the enclosed engine bay, that's why there is no cowl shut line. The Acura 2+1 concept relies on a scheduled annual service at the dealer, where the whole glass panel is lifted, and all fluids replaced and maintenance issues are resolved. A green nanoil, made from organic materials with nanosized beads support the piston's life and oil cycle.

The maintenance service also offers new in-fashion upholstery covers for the interior made from 100% recyclable fabrics that the owner can update according to trends, vehicle use, or personal reference.

As we can read from the name, the Acura 2+1 concept features a 2+1 seating layout inside.

While the Acura 2+1 is an independent design which stands very little chance of production, it does have some interesting features and futuristic styling which one day may find their way into other production cars.

Jeep Renegade Concept Car

The Jeep Renegade concept was displayed at the 2008 Detroit Motor Show. The Renegade concept is powered by a new electric drivetrain which Chrysler put in two other concepts shown at Detroit. The system is called ENVI, and in the Renegade concept it comprises of two 268 horsepower electric motors (one on each axle) powered by lithium ion batteries. This is backed up by a Bluetec diesel engine giving a combined mpg of 110 miles when used with the electric motors.

Constructed from environmentally responsible materials, sustainability is a key theme of the Jeep Renegade concept. The one-piece molded chassis was created without using environmentally-harmful resins, inside are soy-based foam seats, and the no-gloss exterior color of the Renegade's lightweight composite body is molded in to avoid the use of solvents present in automotive paints.

The Jeep Renegade concept's "one-with-nature" personality is emphasized by its large, flaring wheel openings, oversized wheels and tires, and cut-down speedster windshield.

Among the unique exterior details of the Renegade are "deconstructed" rubber-clad headlamps and taillamps, as well as elongated triangular openings in each of the two sculpted doors.

While the Jeep Renegade concept features a roll bar, it has no top. Instead, the cargo deck just behind the cockpit can be fitted with a variety of "lids." Options include a plain lid, or lids configured to accommodate the gear of a particular outdoor day-trip activity, such as mountain biking or kayaking.

Cadillac Converj Concept Car

Cadillac Converj is the latest grand touring coupe car concept that has been unveiled by General Motors at the NAIAS. Powered by a 220 lithium-ion cells battery pack integrated in the chassis of the car, Cadillac Converj offers a range of 40 miles.

To fully re-charge from a 240V outlet, Cadillac Converj needs around 3 hours. While from a 120V, Cadillac Converj needs 8 hours.

The latest electric propulsion technology from the company called Voltec is showcased on this Cadillac Converj. With the new tech, Cadillac Converj may gets up to 40 miles of gas- and emissions-free driving.

Cadillac Converj also comes with some features include Touch-screen navigation, climate, organic light-emitting diode technology, center-stack controls and audio systems and a unique power on sequence featuring blue-lit console graphics.

The technology enables up to 40 miles of gas- and emissions-free electric driving with extended-range capability of hundreds of miles.

Bob Lutz, GM's vice chairman of Global Product Development, said the Converj concept has production substance. "It's a logical extension of our plan to reinvent the automobile," he said. "It clearly shows what a Cadillac electric vehicle could look like, and clearly indicates that global luxury customers can have a car that has both strong design and electric propulsion with a total range of hundreds of anxiety-free miles."

Cadillac's extended-range electric vehicle (E-REV) concept has a new body style that is an evolution of the brand's traditional Art and Science design theme. An aggressive, forward-leaning arc profile is the foundation for the sporting stance. And more than a Cadillac in form, Converj is also intended to be a Cadillac in substance, with the premium materials, technology and driving dynamics that are hallmarks of the brand.

Voltec - innovative propulsion technology

The Cadillac Converj's Voltec electric propulsion system is made up of a 16-kWh, T-shaped battery, an electric drive unit, and a four-cylinder engine-generator. It uses electricity as its primary source to drive the car.

A thermally managed battery pack contains more than 220 lithium-ion cells that provide the primary power to drive the Converj electrically up to 40 miles without using fuel or producing tailpipe emissions. The battery is integrated into the Converj's chassis and stores electricity from the grid when the vehicle is plugged in.

It takes less than three hours to recharge the battery at 240V, or about eight hours from a 120V outlet.

When the battery's energy is low, the Converj seamlessly switches to extended-range mode. During this secondary level of operation, electricity needed to power the vehicle is created on-board by a flex-fuel-powered engine that operates much like a home generator to create electricity. The engine-generator ensures a constant supply of power for hundreds of miles until the car is refueled or plugged in to recharge the battery. This extended-range mode eliminates the range anxiety that comes with driving pure electric vehicles that offer no backup power when the battery charge is low.

Whether in electric or extended-range mode, the Converj is propelled all the time by an electric drive unit. It converts electrical energy from the battery or the engine-generator into mechanical energy to drive the front wheels. It also delivers 273 lb.-ft. (370 Nm) of instant torque, for a quick launch, and 120 kW of power. The top speed is 100 mph.

There is no compromise in vehicle performance in either mode of operation. To enhance the ride feel, the Converj also features GM's Magnetic Ride Control; and for even greater efficiency, energy during braking is captured and stored in the battery.

Pure Cadillac design

There's no mistaking the Converj for anything but a Cadillac, according to Lutz. "An aggressive, forward-leaning profile hints at a new, progressive theme and proportion in Cadillac's design evolution," he says. "The new proportion showcases a uniquely shaped, modern vision of a personal luxury 2+2."

The overall shape is reinforced by a prominent, sweeping body line with large, 21-inch (front) and 22-inch (rear) wheels pushed to the edges of the body. The Converj exterior is painted a dark silver tri-coat that GM designers dubbed "Reaction."

An all-glass roof incorporates solar panels that help offset power drain from the vehicle's accessories. Additionally, several aerodynamic and design efficiencies were incorporated to enhance the driving range, including:

A full under-vehicle cover (belly pan)
Minimal grille openings that reduce drag at the front of the vehicle
Low-profile rearview cameras replace conventional outside mirrors to reduce drag
Wheels are shaped to push air outward for smoother body side airflow
The Converj also incorporates vertical headlamp and taillamp elements, with light pipe technology.

"Vertical lamps are Cadillac signatures and the Converj builds on the brand's light pipe technology with bolder light emitting diode (LED) and high-intensity discharge elements front and rear," said Clay Dean, global design director for Cadillac. "There is also a unique daylight light 'spear' at the top of the headlamps."

Luxury meets technology inside

The Converj's interior has advanced features and luxurious appointments blending efficiency and environmental consciousness. The 2+2 configuration is trimmed in contrasting Winter White synthetic suede - including the top of the instrument panel - and Midnight Black leather, with polished aluminum and wood grain accents. Renewable materials are used throughout such as wool-blend carpeting, a headliner made from silk, suede made from post-industrial content and more.

A technologically advanced driver center increases efficiency and reduces the draw on the battery. Features include:

New, organic light-emitting diode technology used on reconfigurable instrument cluster
Touch-screen navigation, climate, center-stack controls and audio systems
Adjustable, overhead white ambient lighting
Unique "power on" sequence featuring blue-lit console graphics

HUMMER HX concept will be revealed at the 2008 Detroit Motor Show. HUMMER HX concept is an entry-level HUMMER designed to appeal to the younger buyer. The HUMMER HX is considerably smaller than previous offerings from the brand associated with oversized 4×4′s patrolling suburban neighborhoods, and is aimed at other "lifestyle 4×4′s" like the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota FJ Cruiser.

All HUMMER's bold styling cues appear on the HX concept including squared off wheel arches, the domineering chrome grille, removable slanted rear roof, and upright windscreen.

"The HX is HUMMER's vision an agile, trail-ready, open-air vehicle that fits the lifestyles of everyone who needs or wants to drive off road," said Martin Walsh, HUMMER general manager. "Of course, it carries exceptional off-road capability and the distinctive styling for which all HUMMERs are known."

For an open air driving experience the HUMMER HX is able to shed its doors and roof to allow the elements in. The HX also was designed with several roof assemblies, allowing the vehicle to be configured as an SUT (with the roof assembly removed), a slant-back or a traditional, wagon-like design that offers a bit more cargo space.

The design of the HUMMER HX was driven by input from three young designers who were new to GM and the HUMMER design studio. As part of their "initiation", they were charged with developing concept drawings for a smaller, youthful HUMMER and the HX is a direct result of their creativity. The HX concept is based on one of the designers' original illustrations, but incorporates the best ideas and elements from the other designs.

The interior design of the HUMMER HX drew inspiration from aircraft interiors. "Aeronautical parts are designed to be both lightweight and strong, and that is the feeling exuded by the HX's cabin," said Stuart Norris, interior design manager. Furthering the aeronautical influence is the instrument panel, which uses an exposed, extruded aluminum cross-vehicle beam as its foundation. No trades during news times, Risk is set to 2%, take profit is random based on market conditions but ill usually cash out based on reversal patterns or a cross of the two ema's. Trade signals are only confirmed on closed candles/bars.

Buy Signal

a) When the stochastic crosses up from the 20 line and is not ovebought
b) The MACD closses higher than the previous time interval
c) The Signal candle/bar closes higher bullish
d) The 5 ema to the close has crossed the 5 ema to the open

Stop Loss is the low of the previous candle or 20 pips but 20 pip min.
Close when the 5 ema to the close has crossed the 5 ema to the open

Sell Signal

a) When the stochastic crosses down from the 80 line and is not oversold
b) The MACD closses lower than the previous time interval
c) The Signal candle/bar closes lower bearish
d) The 5 ema to the close has crossed the 5 ema to the open

Stop Loss is the high of the previous candle or 20 pips but 20 pip min.
Close is based on price action.

I have been trading with success, my own trading system, called KAS37 Forex Trading System. I Hope every Forex Trader would benefit from it.

Try it in demo account first, get the feel.

SETUP :

1. Bollinger Band (BB), 20,0,2 - Default.
2. RSI 3 and RSI 7
3. Stochastic 7,3,3
4. Simple Moving Average, SMA 3 and SMA7
5. Pair - GBPJPY, 5 Min Chart. (the rest of the other pair, I wouldn't guarantee of success)

ENTRY RULES:

Buy Entry
a. Stoch cross up from below 20 (or less than 30)
b. RSI 3 and RSI 7 cross up from below 30.
c. SMA 3 and SMA 7, cross up between Lower BB and Mid BB.

Sell Entry
a. Stoch cross down from above 80 (or greater than 70)
b. RSI 3 and RSI 7 cross down from above 70.
c. SMA 3 and SMA 7, cross down between Upper BB and Mid BB (for sell entry, This doesn't matter)

STOP LOSS (SL) & TARGET PROFIT (TP)

a. SL is 30 pip, (or 2 pip plus spread above or below previous swing High or Low)
b. TP is 30 pip (or trail the profit if you are in profit)
c. Move SL to breakeven when in 20 pip profit.
d. If price doesn't hit target profit within 30 min to 1 hr, Close it at best profit.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. The rules must follow step a, b then c, NOT b, a then c, as you would not get valid signals.
2. Exception of entry rules, of RSI (cross above 70 or below 30) and Stoch (cross above 80 or below 20), can only be done, if and only if, u see divergence with 3 Spikes of Higher Highs or Lower Lows.
3. You may enter early by following signal a. and then b. without waiting for c. to confirm. BUT, it has 90% success rate - i choose to enter on this entry.
4. It is that prior to entry based on the rules stated above, that the previous 2-3 bars length shall be less than 20 pips

Basket Trading Strategy

This is a very simple forex strategy method and it is all base on price action, indicator free trading and it is done manually. First you have to open a demo account (Indicator Account -IA) and make sure that the broker you choose have the ff. pairs (must have) in their platform:
Most brokers have the following Pairs.
1. GBPUSD 8. CADJPY
2. EURGBP 9. AUDUSD
3. GBPCHF 10. USDJPY
4. CHFJPY 11. EURUSD
5. AUDJPY 12. EURCHF
6. EURJPY 13. GBPJPY
7. USDCHF 14 USDCAD

If you are using the IBFX Platform below are your pairs to Hedge:
1. GBPUSD 8. EURUSD
2. EURGBP 9. USDJPY
3. GBPJPY 10. AUDUSD
4. USDCHF 11. NZDJPY
5. NZDUSD 12. GBPCHF
6. AUDJPY 13. CHFJPY
7. EURJPY 14 EURCHF

The first seven pairs is set 1 and the second is set 2. These pairs will hedge each other. Fresh start this method at the very beginning of the week, this will give you a good look at the pairs as weeks goes on. Set 1 trade them SHORT and set 2 trade them LONG. No SL and no TP. As much as possible run a script (attached) so as to maintain correct timing in opening them. Click twice the profit column of your terminal so as to make the positive profit pairs stay at the top and the negatives stay at the bottom or vice versa. Initially the order of this pairs is a mess, let it run for a day or two and you will notice the pairs will start to make a proper order. All the buys will stay at the bottom and all the sells will occupy the top or vice versa. It like putting to rest the dirty bottled water and it will start to settle down after a certain period and all the dirt to the bottom and the clearer water at the top.

About a day or two, all the buys (if negatives) will stay below and the sell (if positives) will be at the top. Now the indication that you should watch is, ideally the bottom 7 slots should be occupied by the negatives, the first pair in the negative that crosses the boundary of positive and negatives is the pairs we are concern. If one of the negative jump to slot 8 (counting from bottom) there is also a corresponding positive that will jump to slot 7. This is one of our signals. We can trade those two pairs that jump out of boundary. There are ways of watching and trading this pair as they start jumping slots. I called this method the Jumping Pairs Technique. There are also numerous variations associated with jumping pairs that I will discuss later in the thread. Another profitable method of trading is the trading of 14 pairs straight Buy or Sell, criteria of which I will also discuss in the later part of the thread.

You should have another account where you real trading will be executed. You can trade the two pairs that jump out. If the pair that jumps up is LONG then trade the two breakaway pairs LONG or vice versa. I also trade the next two pairs that jump of the boundary. I limit myself to just 4 pair's max 5 pairs being traded at one time. The profit is up to you, what I do is when the pair I'm trading retreats a slot or 2 slots then I close it. Or sometimes I just leave and the Profit Protection EA does the watching of the trade.

Remember do not touch your demo account as this will serve as your indicator and keep it running all the time and just check it once in while for any jumper pair and then trade them.

On the attached terminal copy, you can see the breakaway pair USDCAD and was traded and make some pips on it. Consequently the other pair GBPUSD also jump 1 slot down and can also be traded Long as well.

Note:
1) this method is manual.. Again manual... Indicator is fine.
2) I am trying to avoid any EA being made out of this system, indicators are welcome.

IchiBrain Trading System

This forex strategy is a fusion of three forex trading systems : BrainTrend 7.1, Ichi360 System from ichi360.com and Double EMA Crossover. The attached image is the example chart you should be able to get by combining indicators.

Trading setup :

LONG :

Look for Blue/Cyan lines below the price and be careful if both Blue/Cyan and Red/Magenta are contradicting each other, and ge utterly careful when the bars are green. I don't trade in these conditions.

The double EMA crossover should confirm the bullish move, wait for a BIG GREEN ARROW UP, you can ignore the small ones.

At this point you can enter the trade, but if your not greedy and looking for consistency wait for Ichi360 indicator to confirm the bullish bias , the ichi360 indicator gives you exact entry point and you can use the BrainTrend indicator as trailing stop levels or exit, OR you can just wait for ichi360 to make a move in the other direction to exit.

SHORT :

Look for Red/Magenta lines above the price and be careful if both Blue/Cyan and Red/Magenta are contradicting each other, and ge utterly careful when the bars are green. I don't trade in these conditions.

The double EMA crossover should confirm the bearish move, wait for the BIG RED ARROW DOWN, you can ignore the small yellow ones.

I must say that I have traded with quite a number of platforms and Dukascopy is but only one of the countless. My experience with other platforms has been used as a yardstick for most of my observations with Dukascopy but am I glad I found them.

I will begin with the negatives. I have experienced some problems pertaining to execution whereby it was slipping by as much as a pip every single trade where the 'single click' manual execution is concerned. I am positive I am not the only one judging by similar experiences of other traders. I think Dukascopy at least realize and admits that it is a problem. However, traders are told to write to them every single time with the unique transaction ID. What I do not understand and can't accept is if it is a persisting problem that affects many, why not try and resolve it for good? Do you mean we have to contact your support every single trade since that is what I experience? It is quite a hassle I would like to think.

I feel that they have had very poor liquidity and I was getting slipped regularly. I don't think the slips have favored me much so far but I have been lucky on quite a few. This is especially the case during news time when things go haywire. But then again, I am yet to find a broker that does "deliver" during new time.

Another unfortunate incident that I experienced with Dukascopy was when one of my trades closed down on its own without any prior warning or a reason. What's worse, the issue was never solved. I am still in the dark as to why and how something like that can happen. Have any of you experienced the same thing or is it just me?

Ok, I know it sounds like I am just complaining but overall Dukascopy gets a thumbs up from me. I had no problem with their customer service and have been trading with them for over a year and a half now. I am really glad I discovered them and in my opinion they are the most honest and reliable Forex brokers online. I do not say this lightly as I know the heartache and desperation that one goes through when you are not dealing with an honest broker. These guys are really up to their game (what else can you expect from the Swiss?)

Withdrawals are easy and I usually have my money quite quickly. I can honestly say I am glad I made the move to them as I have had much worse experiences with other brokers. Even though you may find some negative feedback on other websites, I suspect it is only because of individual gripes and client unhappiness that happens in every business.

Other than a few delays and hiccups that I have experienced with them I really can not complain about them. I always suggest you start with a small amount and test them out and see for yourself.

I hope this review helps, as I can recommend Duksacopy for anyone wanting a reliable and above average Forex broker.

My experience with Fxpro has been a love-hate relationship. I simply mean that I have had both good and bad experiences with them. Let me begin with the bad first.

Among some of my major discontentments are that orders take a long time to be filled, executions are delayed from time to time, frequent system hangs/disconnections and the MT4 giving several problems which makes it hard for me to trade. In addition to this, I think Fxpro have widened their spreads with most of the major pairs when other companies are competing to lower their spreads in the hope of getting more customers. For example, we take the USD-Eur pairing. Most other brokers that I trade with offer between 2-3 pips but wit Fxpro, I had experienced up to 5 pips once during the night!

Another one of my concerns are the delay in withdrawal and I am not even talking about profits. This is money that I have deposited and wished to withdraw for personal reasons. I had on different occasions, made deposits using PayPal as well as from my credit card. It took me slightly more than a month for me to get back my own deposit and I dare not think how long it would take for me to withdraw my profits because I have yet to do so yet. I think it has got to do with their complex withdrawal system whereby you can only withdraw through the method you deposited. For example, if you had made your deposit using a credit card, you cannot expect to withdraw using, say PayPal. I find that to be absurd. Don't you think?

Having said all that, I think Fxpro has some good in them. First, their customer service is reasonably helpful and professional. They are good in communication and shows concern in my issues. I would give them that credit that they were at helpful or tried to be at least.

Another thing I like is that they offer you a combination of FX, Futures and stocks in a single MT4 platform which is rarely offered by other Mt4 platforms especially in the US. This is one of the appeals of Fxpro, for me anyways.

As mentioned earlier, I have had both good and bad experiences with Fxpro. I will be sticking around with them for a bit longer to see if the problems I have are sorted out. In the meantime, I will also keep my options opened.

When I first stared out with Forex Yard some 9 months ago, I didn't seem to like their platform some reason. Let's have a look at my experience with them thus.

I think my main concern back then was the somewhat difficulty in withdrawing my funds. It almost always took longer than expected but later on, the issue was sorted out after I contacted their Customer Support. To give them credit, I think their Customer Support is one of the very best I have dealt with in all my experience trading in FX. They are not only professional but willing to help you in every manner possible. I have dealt with Customer Service personnels that cannot even communicate well but I have had not problems with Forex Yard's personnels. On the several occasions I communicated with them through the phone, the personnels all spoke impeccable English. Two thumbs up on that!

Another problem that I used to have with them is with my spreads. It was almost always higher than the others with 5 or more pips or so. As a result, I had several unfavorable trades due to that. Subsequently, I noticed that the spreads began to lower on its own. Sure, sometimes the spreads fluctuate but it is still manageable and tolerable.

Forex Yard emails me daily information on FX and I think that is quite helpful. It really does help me to make the right trades at times. The charts are quite easy to read and helpful as well. I have had some minor problems initially in understanding them but once I learned the right way, I had no more problems with it!

Recently, I started trading Gold with them and I couldn't believe it myself when I made a profit of $7,000 over the first week. I withdrew the money and had no problem with delays. Needless to say, I am impressed!

Yes, I do admit that their execution is slow at times but they are accurate on most parts. It is still tolerable for me. Now, I know that there have been many traders who have had a myriad of problems with Forex Yard and I would recommend sorting the issue out with their Customer Support.

I think Forex Yard is constantly improving and upgrading their services. They really do appreciate customers like me and you and go out of their way to ensure that we are happy. I will definitely be sticking with them!

Alfa MiTo GTA is powered by a 1.75 liter 240 hp turbo gasoline engine that performs as a 3.0 liter unit. Alfa MiTo GTA's engine was developed by Fiat Powertrain Technologies using technology from the Twin Spark and Alfa V6 road and race engines.

Alfa MiTo GTA's suspension has been upgraded with new geometry new bushings and a revised chassis. Alfa MiTo GTA also has an active suspension system with advanced damper control.

A high performance concept of the new Alfa MiTo, the Alfa MiTo GTA, will be starring at this year's Geneva International Motor Show in early March.

In line with the famous GTA (Gran Turismo Alleggerito) signature, (Alleggerito means reduced weight in Italian), the Alfa MiTo GTA Concept prioritises weight reduction, and the achievement of an optimum power-to-weight ratio.

Considerable work has gone into lowering the vehicle's center of gravity; thus certain components such as the tailgate spoiler, roof and mirror fairings are in carbon-fiber; while aluminum is used extensively in the braking system, suspension, and some parts of the chassis.

Under the bonnet, an exciting new petrol engine, very much in keeping with the pre-requisites of downsizing, environmental awareness, and the offer of high power and efficiency in return for low weight and optimised packaging, powers the new GTA Concept.

Designed by Fiat Powertrain Technologies and exploiting the vast experience gained in the production of Twin Spark and Alfa V6 road and race engines, the compact new petrol engine employs advanced technical solutions including direct injection, dual variable valve timing, state-of-the-art turbocharging and advanced electronic management systems to produce a remarkable 240bhp from just 1742cc.

Under-floor aerodynamics have been a particular concern, while the entire car has been lowered by some 20mm. Front suspension employs new geometry with aluminum leading arms, while the rear suspension has all-new bushings, and the comprehensively revised chassis boasts an 'active' suspension system, (advanced damper control), which counteracts the transfer of load under acceleration, stiffening the rear end and maximising traction. The suspension also interacts with the braking system and steering to obtain the most efficient control of vehicle dynamics, while a 'Sky-Hook' function ensures an excellent level of passenger comfort under conditions of everyday use.

Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA, world preview

Gran Turismo Alleggerito: a historical and famous "signature" throughout the world which, interpreted in a modern and effective manner, has guided the entire development of the Alfa MiTo GTA Concept, which has the priority objectives of reducing weight and achieving an excellent power-to-weight ratio. Hence the decision to use components of ultra-light carbon fiber - as for example the tailgate spoiler, the roof and the mirror fairings - as well as the use of aluminum for the braking system, suspension and some parts of the chassis. And the body has been completely revised, maintaining the very high level of torsional rigidity (a necessary element for the maximum efficacy of the suspension) and optimizing many structural and reinforcing components; a necessary "diet", not only to reduce weight but also to lower the center of gravity, enhancing agility and driving precision. To the same end, a special onboard set-up has been specified, preserving the equipment and systems most directly associated with the sporting use of the car. Finally, to obtain the best power-to-weight ratio in its category, an innovative engine, endowed with character and technology, has been specially developed.

So, the Alfa MiTo GTA Concept car boasts an extraordinary power-to-weight ratio which contributes to making it the standard-bearer of Alfa Romeo sporting cars. The design is sensual, modern, but never overstated, and from first sight it communicates a technological "DNA" which forms the inspiration for the development of future high performance versions.

1.75 Liter 240 HP Turbo Gasoline Engine: the sporting heart of the Alfa MiTo GTA Concept

Everyone recognizes the ability of the Italian motoring industry to produce engines full of "determination" and temperament, real "jewels" born out of experience and the passion of engineers allied with technical skills consolidated over the years. So there is no question that the engine should be designed and developed by the engineers of FPT - Fiat Powertrain Technologies, exploiting the experience which created the mythical Twin Spark and V6 engines as well as the racing engines which Alfa Romeo brought to racing tracks throughout the world.

And anyone whose character has been molded on the race track knows that he must always look to the challenges of the future. The Mito GTA Concept engine was developed in accordance with this principle, using advanced technical solutions in the field of spark ignition engines, including direct gasoline injection, dual VVT, the turbocharger and a revolutionary management system. Hence the exciting performances comparable with those of an engine of 3000 cc, while consumption is maintained at moderate levels typical of a 4-cylinder engine of average capacity, benefiting the environment and operating costs. In addition, the engine has been designed to interact with the Alfa D.N.A. system which allows the driver to select the most suitable driving mode and thereby modify the operating parameters of the various vehicle systems, enhancing driving pleasure and safety under all conditions.

Style and aerodynamics: "clear" sportiness and advanced technology

To marry the harmonious lines of a hatchback for daily use to the requirements arising from track competition: this was the ambitious objective of the Alfa MiTo GTA Concept development team. Aerodynamic research had a decisive influence on the technical choices and on the style of the car. In particular, the model succeeds in combining an improvement in the CX drag coefficient (to increase maximum speed and reduce consumption), a substantial increase in downforce (to ensure maximum stability and safety even at high speeds) and efficient management of airflow at the front end (to cool the engine compartment). In detail, the front end is characterized by the wide air intakes necessary to allow the lively engine to "breathe", the new styling of the classic Alfa Romeo grille, the badge positioned on the bonnet and the new bumper. Also on the bonnet is the windscreen wiper deflector which further contributes to improving the aerodynamic performance of the car. Our view of the front end concludes with the new headlight surround which is darkened to ensure the absence of reflections: this is achieved by a new coating on the parabolic mirror of the bi-xenon headlights. So, the overall effect of these solutions is to give the front end a "determined" appearance, in which the sportiness is emphasized by the technical solutions adopted and the special chromatic effects, while the classic Alfa Romeo "family feeling" is interpreted in a novel way. From the side, the eye is caught by the new engine cooling air vents - a clear reminder of the 8C Competizione - in which the direction indicators are embedded, while the many wind tunnel tests have "molded" the aerodynamic miniskirts to optimize the airflow along the sides and on the underside of the car.

To "earth" all the power of the engine, Alfa MiTo GTA Concept uses sports mixture tires, fitted to ultralight forged aluminum rims with "reverse" fluid-molded channel and 19" keying diameter, designed to allow adequate cooling of the brakes to ensure maximum efficiency in the sportiest of uses.

Finally, the rear end has been redesigned to achieve maximum aerodynamic performance. In particular, the bumper has an air extractor to increase aerodynamic downforce, at the center of which emerges the large diameter twin exhaust pipe, the ultimate expression of the power of this exclusive prototype. Even the tailgate has been completely redesigned, using carbon fiber technology and incorporating an integral spoiler with a wing which is wider in the upper and side sections.

As with the racing car, in which the most refined components are often "under the skin", so for the Mito GTA Concept the work of refining the under body was particularly important. To obtain the necessary "downforce" a flat rear floor was used, together with an exhaust system incorporating a transversal silencer efficiently connected to the rear extractor. Great care was used in specifying the accessories and components fitted under the floor, while special aerodynamic covers conduct the airflow to achieve an aerodynamic load at high speeds.

To finish, the choice of color: the special "Tritecno" white which emphasizes the lines of the car and contrasts the texture of the parts made of quality materials.

Advanced chassis for record agility

The MiTo GTA Concept chassis was designed to ensure maximum control of the car under all conditions: from the race track to use on low-grip roads. To enhance the already excellent dynamic qualities of the Alfa Romeo MiTo, the designers created numerous ad hoc chassis systems.

As well as creating a very stiff chassis, they completely revised the operating parameters of the suspension, lowering it by about 20 mm. The new geometry of the front suspension uses innovative aluminum front arms, while the rear end has undergone a special development involving the elastic components of the suspension.

The steering is now more direct, precise and sensitive, allowing the driver to obtain maximum "road feel". The steering can be personalized by selecting different positions using the Alfa D.N.A. system, ensuring an immediate response from the vehicle under all conditions.

But to achieve the "state of the art" in dynamic behavior, Alfa Romeo has developed a new "active suspension system". The result of collaboration between Alfa Romeo and Magneti Marelli, the system exploits the exceptional experience of both companies in sporting activities throughout the world. By means of shock absorber control, the system reduces oscillations of the car body under all driving conditions, thereby guaranteeing the highest levels of safety, comfort and drivability. In particular, by exploiting the many parameters managed by the new system, it is possible, for example, to counteract the transfer of load under acceleration, stiffening the rear end and guaranteeing lightning quick acceleration with maximum traction. Using the same principle, it is possible to make the suspension interact with the braking system and steering to obtain the most efficient control of vehicle dynamics.

In addition, the system is able to identify the driving situation and road surface conditions to choose the most appropriate control program, and to exploit the responsiveness resulting from its high degree of computing power and the technology used in the shock absorber solenoid valves; the result is an instantaneous response, with controls applied in real time, to complement the sensitivity and technique of the driver.

As well as being an important technological partner for the more sporting driver, the new active suspension system also ensures an excellent level of comfort under the conditions of daily use. In fact, using the "Sky-Hook" function, the system isolates the passenger compartment and makes it notionally motionless with respect to external disturbances. So, using this new system, the chassis can vary its performance according to the conditions of use or at the request of the driver.

The interface between the car and the driver can only be provided by the "Alfa D.N.A." system with which, in addition to the normal functions, it is possible to adjust the geometry of the car according to the driving mode selected. The "Alfa D.N.A." system has three operating modes, each selectable by the driver: Dynamic (mode for sports driving), Normal (mode for driving under normal conditions) and All Weather (mode for driving under conditions of low grip, such as rain or snow).

In detail, with the introduction of "active suspension", the system operates on all the dynamic control components of the car: engine management computer, instrument panel, VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control - stability control system), steering and suspension (the latter two functions, in Dynamic mode for example, become stiffer, optimizing handling of the car). To ensure maximum safety under all conditions, the braking system has been duly "beefed up", with components worthy of a supercar.

First of all, the wheel set features impressive one-piece anodized calipers with four opposing pistons, produced by Brembo in co-design with the Alfa Romeo Style Center and on which the logos of the Bergamo concern, still a winner in competition, and GTA represent a signature guaranteeing maximum performance. Using the style features specified by the Alfa Romeo Style Center, Brembo has designed and produced a new brake caliper concept in keeping with the sporting character of the car, which is complemented by the dual-cast discs employing two materials, cast iron and aluminum, to provide, with the caliper, a significant weight reduction (between 15 and 20% compared with a traditional brake disc) in accordance with the philosophy imposed by the historic abbreviation GTA - Gran Turismo Alleggerito - light grand tourer. In addition, the dual-cast disc ensures greater driving comfort, reduces corrosion and consumption, optimizes performance of the braking system and pools the advantages arising from the temperature behavior of the cast iron and the lightness of the aluminum. The innovation consists in the way in which the two materials are combined in a single component, and in the behavior of the disc itself: it is a solid disc at low temperatures, and behaves as if "fluidized" at high temperatures, when maximum performance is demanded and the disc tends to warp.

Finally, to "glue" the car to the road, Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA Concept offers new high-performance tires specially developed by Pirelli.

"Technical" interiors with personality

Alfa MiTo GTA Concept has an interior with strong personality in which the two anatomical front seats stand out; these provide maximum lateral support in sports driving and a marked reduction in weight. The same impression of sportiness is found in the dark tones of the passenger compartment and in the materials which have been chosen to guarantee maximum efficiency in high speed driving: for example, to minimize reflections, matt black predominates on the coatings of the components which "fall" within the visual field of the driver (such as the dashboard), while the other materials have an extremely "technical" appearance. In addition, the 4-point seatbelts are attached to the rear roll bar, which also supports the retention net provided to restrain baggage items.

The rear part of the passenger compartment enhances the "sporty" nature of the design: there are special compartments for racing helmets and fire extinguisher and there are spaces to contain items used in competition.

The floor covering is new, featuring a carpet which leaves the driver's mats uncovered, with an aluminum scuff plate bearing the GTA name. In addition, on the floor there are rubber inserts replicating the tread of the exclusive Pirelli tire fitted to the car.

The floor covering - like the roof lining and front, central and rear pillars - is in costly black Alcantara texture and a red stitching runs all the way round the car elegantly surrounding the internal environment. And there's more: new air vents, specially designed for the Alfa MiTo GTA Concept and embellished with aluminum inserts, combine functionality with technical and sporting design.

In order to permanently manage the operating parameters of the car, MiTo GTA Concept has adopted an innovative system integrated into the Radionav and developed in collaboration with Magneti Marelli. Besides displaying the "views" relating to navigation, from the large color display it is possible to select different screens to obtain information on the various operating parameters controlling the mechanical and dynamic performance of the vehicle. For example, for each position of the Alfa D.N.A. selector, the system displays a summary of the configurations associated with the mode chosen by the driver. In addition, in an ergonomic and intuitive way, it shows various indicators such as the engine oil temperature, turbocharger pressure and the throttle valve opening percentage. Finally, to emphasize the agility of the Alfa MiTo GTA Concept, it is possible to monitor the acceleration trend in real time: in this way one's personal driving style and the behavior of the car under braking can be analyzed in depth, in rapid changes of trajectory or the most violent of pick-ups.

In this way, MiTo GTA Concept maximizes driving pleasure by virtue of this innovative dashboard display, which gives the driver the sensation of being in control of a genuine competition car.

Like the Z.E. Linear displays on the outside of Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E.'s doors show how much charge is left in the battery by simply activating the remote central locking control. Inside, a gauge to the left of the instrument panel provides the driver with a permanent indication of how much battery charge remains.

An all-electric motor

Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E. is an all-electric zero emission vehicle. It is powered by a 60hp (44kw) electric motor which revs to 12,000rpm and boasts greater efficiency (90 per cent) than an internal combustion engine.

Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E.'s electric motor is coupled to a reducer which replaces the gearbox traditionally mated to internal combustion engines. This reducer has a single, constant output ratio. Electrical energy is transmitted to the motor by a power electronics unit which incorporates the controller that delivers the required amount of energy to the rotor.

Latest-generation lithium-ion batteries

Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E. is equipped with compact, innovative lithium-ion batteries produced by AESC (Automotive Electric Supply Corporation), a Nissan-NEC joint venture which was founded in April 2007. The performance of these batteries compared with former-generation nickel metal hydride batteries is superior in every domain, including performance, reliability, safety and efficiency. Lithium-ion batteries do not suffer from the so-called memory effect which results from incomplete charge cycles, ultimately leading to a fall in capacity. The AESC battery is expected to deliver between 80 and 100 per cent of its original capacity for six years.

The compact dimensions of lithium-ion batteries enable the vehicle's configuration to be optimised and a wide range of applications to be envisaged. In the case of Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E., the battery is located underneath the dashboard. It consequently doesn't encroach on either cabin space or boot capacity, making it possible to keep the same arrangement of four individual seats as that seen on the standard Renault Kangoo be bop.

The battery comprises 48 modules, each of which incorporates four elementary cells. It is inside these cells that the electro-chemical reactions take place, enabling electrical current to be produced or energy to be stored.

A year and a half ahead of the launch of Renault's production electric vehicles, the 15kWh battery of the Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E. prototype delivers a range of approximately 100km. At launch, Renault electric vehicles will profit from an evolution to their battery technology which will take their real-world range to 160km.

Last but not least, lithium-ion batteries are recyclable and the Renault-Nissan Alliance is actively working on establishing recycling processes and infrastructures adapted to automotive batteries.

Express charging

Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E. is charged via a Marechal-type socket located behind a flap at the front of the vehicle alongside the right-hand headlamp. The other end of the cable is fitted with a normal plug which connects to the mains supply.

This plug permits two different battery-charging modes:

a conventional charge via a household mains supply (10A or 16A 220V) which can charge the vehicle in a timescale of between six to eight hours. This mode is perfectly suited to vehicles which are parked up overnight or during the day at the workplace.
a so-called 'quick charge' using a 32A 400V three phase socket, enabling up to 80 per cent of Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E.'s capacity to be charged in approximately 30 minutes.

Approximately twenty car manufacturers - including Renault - and energy groups have been working with the German group RWE to develop a universal standard plug. Shown at April's Hanover Messe technology fair, it will be used to charge the batteries of future Renault electric vehicles. The three phase plug can be used with a 400V supply enabling a complete charge in approximately 20 minutes. This multi-partner agreement marks a significant step forward in the development of mass market electric vehicles. Renault Kangoo be bop Z.E. is also equipped with a brake energy recovery system which enables it to be charged while on the move.

The Alliance's electric vehicle strategy

The Renault-Nissan Alliance aims to be the leader in mass-market zero emission vehicles. The Alliance is actively forging innovative associations with governments, city authorities and energy companies with a view to promoting the widespread use of electric vehicles across the world. Twenty-four such partnerships have already been sealed to date.

Renault and Nissan were among the first manufacturers to commit to achieving significant reductions in carbon dioxide emissions in recent years. Renault's strategy which was unveiled in January 2008 specifies the release of mass market electric vehicles by 2011.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance is planning to have a comprehensive range of high-quality, reliable, innovative and affordable electric vehicles. The first all-electric Nissan vehicle is due to be launched in the United States and Japan in 2010, and Nissan is set to market its electric vehicles worldwide from 2012. Renault will start marketing all-electric models in 2011, beginning with a family saloon in Israel, and a utility version of New Renault Kangoo in Europe. Two new, highly innovative vehicles are then scheduled for release in 2012.

Renault's zero-emission, silent-running electric vehicles will incontestably break new ground, while at the same being affordable for the majority of road users.

The Belgian tuner Caractere has released a new styling kit for the sixth-generation Volkswagen Golf. Clearly inspired by VW's 2006 IROC Concept car that previewed the Scirocco Coupe, the styling package comprises of a new front bumper with a characteristic grille surround, chunky side skirts, a large roof spoiler and a rear apron with an integrated diffuser and a two-pipe exhaust unit.

The Golf VI's appearance can be completed with a set of 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels. Caractere's styling package will go on sale in Europe early next year.

Whether you are a work-at-home mom trying to make a little extra cash or an Internet entrepreneur with hundreds of monetized websites, AdSense is truly the easiest way to earn money.
Simply sign up for a free account, grab your ad code and paste it in your site. But here's the amazing thing - no matter how much money AdSense is making for you right now, a few simple tweaks can increase that amount considerably. And I should know, after learning about these tricks, I more than doubled my AdSense commissions!
The self-proclaimed AdSense gurus and experts are sharing this insider knowledge, for a fee.
You can learn all these secrets from them, as long as you buy their e-book, sign up for their seminar or purchase their newsletter. But I'm going to share all their AdSense tricks for free. Here they are:
1) Color code your ads to match your web site palette *exactly*. Don't use frames around your ads. Instead, in the AdSense code generation interface, make sure you choose the same color as your page background for the ad frame and the ad background.
When choosing the ad heading colors, match them to the *exact* color of your page headings. Use the exact same ad background shade as your page background. Use the exact same ad text font and color as the text on your pages. You can see an example of this color-matching on my Search Engine Advice Blog notice the 4 link ad unit at the top and the skyscraper text ad unit on the left hand side under the heading Ads by Google as you scroll down the page? The link and text colors are identical to the color palette used throughout the rest of the page.
Near enough is NOT good enough. If you can't quite get the color matching right, use Google's built in color palette together with the RGB to HEX or vice versa color converter on this page - http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Guide/Style. That handy little tool was a life saver for me.
This is probably the one single tweak that made the most difference to my commission levels.
2) Try not to use the traditional horizontal banner style or leader board image ads because people are blind to them.
3) Use Google's own AdSense optimization tips at html and visual heat map to assist you in deciding where on your page to place your AdSense ad code.
4) Research competitive keywords using a keyword research tool such as Keyword Discovery at list of the most popular keywords from various sources and use them in your web site pages where relevant. This article is a good source of frequently searched keywords. Targeting popular keywords should trigger AdSense ads on your pages that utilize those keywords. The more popular the keyword or phrase, the higher AdWords advertisers are generally willing to pay per click for it so the higher your commission on those clicks.
5) Incorporate the AdSense code into your page so that the ads look like a regular part of your site. You can see an example on this Internet Dating Stories site where link ads are incorporated within the regular left hand navigation of the site under the heading "Feature Links".
6) Use Google's new 4 and 5 link ad units wherever possible. They seem to have a much higher Click Through Rate (CTR) than regular ad styles. You can view all the AdSense ad formats.
7) Place arrows or images next to your ads to draw attention to them. You can see two different versions of on this search engine article library page at the top (where a pointing hand directs your eye to the ad) and the bottom where 3 images draw your attention to each of the three AdSense ads.
Use the full allowance of multiple AdSense ads on each of your pages - 3 regular AdSense ads, plus 1 link unit. Use careful placement of these ads so they blend into your site and don't distract from your content. Clever use of this allowance can be seen on this page about bad Internet dating stories where you see:

- 1 horizontal 4 link ad unit towards the top of the page under the first paragraph.
- 1 vertical skyscraper text ad unit about halfway down the left hand side under "Sponsor Links".
- 1 vertical skyscraper image ad unit down the left hand side under "Sponsor Links".
- 1 horizontal text banner unit at the bottom of the page with images above each ad to draw attention to them.
You can also include 1 AdSense referral button in addition to the 3 other units.
9) Tailor your page content to a particular niche or focus. Page content that is tailored towards a specific theme is more likely to trigger AdWords ads that closely match the content and are therefore more likely to interest your visitors and inspire them to click.
Don't create pages merely for the sake of placing AdSense ads. Visitors (and search engines) can see through this ruse in an instant.
10) Use custom Ad Channels for each of your ad placements, for example, "Top 5 Link Unit Blue Palette" or "Left Side Navigation Image Skyscraper" etc. Tweak, track and measure the success of each of these custom channels so you know what gives you the highest CTR. Some ad formats and colors will work better than others, but you won't know which until you test, test and test some more!
