It's been awhile since our last post we've been really busy from planning Asa's party to searching for our perfect little home. We made the big announcement today letting everyone know that we were expecting our second baby and boy are we excited especially the little one. Asa had her four year photos last Friday and I asked our photographer if she could squeeze one of us revealing the big news. And I must say this photo turned out amazing. We are beyond excited for our new addition that we can't wait to find out what we are having.

Burgers and Bowling

We had a wonderful Saturday with friends. We planned to have lunch at this new burger joint in town. Which happened to be a disaster we were there for three hours, had the worst waitress, our food came before the kids and they ran out of ice cream for the milkshakes and I wanted the nutella and banana milkshake. It sound so good. The only best thing from that lunch was great company and the burgers were delicious. I had the porteblla mushroom burger and is was amazing. Asa was complaining at how weird her mac and cheese was. After lunch we took the kids to bowl and boy did they had fun, we bowled for two hours and we parted ways. But I ended the night by making my own nutella and banana milkshake.

As of today and the past few weeks. I've decided to put blogging to a halt until further notice. We are in a major over haul with everything that is happening to us that I don't have the time to blog nor do I have any subject at the moment to talk about. My blogging schedule was manageable before but as of right now we need a break or two to get the juices of creativity and inspiration back in to the game of blogging. I new that once going at for a while I would go back to this I put a hold on it before and managed to come back full force ready to see what I make of it but for now I'm just going to sit and relax and maybe change this blog of mine a tad bit. We will be going through a long process of making so much decisions in the next couple of months with Justin graduating, moving into our new place and working on my project that I have been anxiously waiting to tell the world but for now I'll just keep it to myself. I think starting fresh and revamping the blog up just a little will give me the satisfaction of knowing this blog can further on doing what it did before from blogging about food, style, family, life and anything I seemed to like talking about. I hope those who would like to continue on following us please do so in the future. This is the hardest decision yet I've made again so far. But if your instagram (eatloveandstyle) do follow us I post on a daily basis on there. Well until then see guys when I get back.

I'm counting down the days of when my hunny will be graduating which will be next Friday. We are beyond thrilled that he has worked, sacrificed and accomplished so much in the past two years. After graduation he still has to take the state board exam to get certified has a registered nurse but I know will do great. I have been loving maxi dresses lately and finding the right length for a short person like myself can be rather difficult I happened to snatch this baby at Target for on sale for $25. Well I hope you all have a lovely week.

I can't believe that it has been almost a month since I did a style post and I must add that I miss it so much but with our busy schedule we hardly have to time to take any photos. If you have instagram you'll find me more on there under my blog name. It is getting close to my hunny graduating, which by the way is May 11th and we are happy that it's coming to an end and that our new life will soon unfold. We have been searching for a house to rent but it's crazy here right now with people taking anything that gets put on market. We will be living in a townhouse for the time being. I really miss all of you and your blog. I hope once this madness is all over with I can get back to my regular schedule blogging. I almost forgot to mention that I ombred my hair a few weeks back. I still need to go higher and maybe to go a tad bit lighter but I love it. Well have a great day.

It seems as if it has been decades since I've posted and I'm trying to play catchup on this blog. I feel as if I've failed at doing so and following everyone's. We had a wonderful Easter, decorating eggs with close friends, two egg hunts and one happy toddler receiving three baskets. The tot's birthday party also came and went, we had a blast and so did the kids. I will have photos up soon. Great news as well, my hunny passed his exit test for the program now just the state boards to tackle. We've been searching hight and low for houses to rent but so it seems the oil business is booming since gas is hitting $4.00 a gallon. Once things die down I hope to get back to blogging, I miss you guys so much. Hope you guys have had a great day.

I can't believe that my baby is now three, time has flown by so fast. It's unreal that she's becoming to be a big girl and so independent. This morning we woke and laid around bed until it was time for her first dentist appointment which went great and no cavities. Afterwards, I took her on a birthday lunch to Chuckie Cheese so glad there wasn't so many kids out there. We ordered her a Dora cake and got two Dora balloons at her request. We then went to the mall to shop, well at least I did she fell asleep. As we got home we prepared for her birthday dinner of hot dogs then cake. It was a small birthday gathering with family until her actual birthday party next Sunday. Right now I'm about to snuggle in bed with my box of tissue, medicine and rest for the night. I think I caught some sort of bug and I'm not feeling to well. Happy birthday, Asa mommy and daddy love you oh so much.

There weather here has been nice in the mornings but as it hits the afternoon it's dreadful. I'm glad that I'm able to wear skirts and dresses without tights. I'm so busy now a days preparing for my daughter's 3rd birthday in less then two weeks. So I may be MIA for while here on the blog. Over the weekend I had a chance to wear my newest purchase, now before having Asa I would buy expensive shoes but now I a mom on a budget. You won't see me buying designer items unless I must have it. I can still be in style on a budget, right? Well I snagged these baby on Hautelook for $65 and last pair in my size. I saw them at Dillard's for $130 I think and I was happy to see them at Hautelook. The tot and I spent our Saturday shopping and having a mother/daughter day and then later daddy took me to the movies. It was a great weekend. I haven't posted any insta photos and I really need too. Hopefully I will starting posting weekly instas rather then my weekend. Well I hope you all had a great weekend.

I can't believe that in less then 4 weeks Asa's party will soon be here and not only that she's turning 3. I have so much to do for this party and have yet to start on it. I've purchased half the stuff we need and I better get on the ball. Here are a few photos that I will be recreating for her Woodland Party and I am beyond excited to the moon to see the end result. Family Meals.

When it comes to family dinners and having time to prepare meals on our busy schedule I opt for an easy Italian dish like this. Super easy to make and so inexpensive. I normally don't add spinach to this dish but I've been trying to get on the band wagon of eating healthy. I hope you guys enjoy this dish.

Ingredients

Baby spinach
Whole wheat penne pasta (any brand of your choice)
Johnsonville mild Italian sausage
Classico pesto sauce
Buitoni Parmesan cheese

1. First take your sausage links create any size meatballs and set aside.
2. Cook pasta according to package directions.
3. While pasta is cooking, cook your sausage and set aside.
4. Once pasta is cooked drain and set a side.
5. Take your pesto and pour entire sauce in a pot and cook with spinach.
6. Once spinach has wilted place pasta and sausage with sauce and spinach.
7. Stir all ingredients and cook for 10-15 minutes and serve.

Here are photos from our trip to the zoo which was the tot's very first visit. Once we were there Asa's immediate request was to see the giraffes. She loves them so much. She had a great time so did we although this zoo was quite small and I hope one day we can take Asa to a bigger zoo. Asa saw all animals and insects. Now we can not wait to go back.

Yay, two days in a row posting an outfit. I'm really excited that summer is just around the corner and that the time changed as well. Today we are on our way to head out of town to visit Justin's dad in the hospital and to take Asa to the zoo for the first time. We've told her what our plan was for today but she doesn't seem to understand the concept of what a zoo consists of but I know she will be excited to see so many different animals. We are ready to go out of town and have a family day. Hope you guys have a great weekend.
