It was the Surf &amp; Turf Cobb Salad from Newport Seafood Grill.

I  remember going there a few years ago and trying their sushi. It was a  lot better than I expected, but I wasn't impressed enough to eat there  again until today.

I'm glad I was in the gambling mood today.


After driving by a multitude of times and thinking about going in, I finally did. I was greeted by the owner, who was a super sweet Korean lady and seated at a table. Their menu was great, many of the items listed had photos next to them, which helped me decide.

I just got back from a short walk through the OWFandB Fest.  It looks like a lot of fun. There's a delicious mix of local food and drink in a party like setting with live music. I ordered  the Aunt Jenny's Mushroom Burger, medium, and the iceberg wedge salad.

The burger was flavorful, but it was well done and a little dry for my taste. The mushrooms were thick-sliced and fresh though.


My iceberg salad was huge, but it barely had bacon on it.
