Islamabad – Pakistan’s president says he thinks Osama bin Laden is most likely dead because the suspected terrorist has been unable to get treatment for his kidney disease.

“I think now, frankly, he is dead for the reason he is a … kidney patient,” Gen. Pervez Musharraf said on Friday in an interview with CNN.

Musharraf said Pakistan knew bin Laden took two dialysis machines into Afghanistan. “One was specifically for his own personal use,” he said.

“I don’t know if he has been getting all that treatment in Afghanistan now. And the photographs that have been shown of him on television show him extremely weak. … I would give the first priority that he is dead and the second priority that he is alive somewhere in Afghanistan.”

Osama bin Laden is dead. The news first came from sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan almost six months ago: the fugitive died in December and was buried in the mountains of southeast Afghanistan. Pakistan’s president, Pervez Musharraf, echoed the information. The remnants of Osama’s gang, however, have mostly stayed silent, either to keep Osama’s ghost alive or because they have no means of communication.

With an ego the size of Mount Everest, Osama bin Laden would not have, could not have, remained silent for so long if he were still alive. He always liked to take credit even for things he had nothing to do with. Would he remain silent for nine months and not trumpet his own survival?

Even if he is still in the world, bin Ladenism has left for good. Mr. bin Laden was the public face of a brand of politics that committed suicide in New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001, killing thousands of innocent people in the process.

Kabul – Osama bin Laden is “probably” dead, but former Taliban leader Mullah Omar is alive, Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said.

Karzai’s comments came on the eve of the anniversary of the start of the U.S.-led military campaign in Afghanistan as part of the war on terrorism.

The campaign ousted the Taliban regime, which the United States said harbored bin Laden’s al Qaeda terrorism network, the group blamed for the September 11 attacks.

“I would come to believe that [bin Laden] probably is dead,” Karzai said on CNN’s “Late Edition” on Sunday.

“But still, you never know. He might be alive. Five months ago, six months ago, I was thinking that he was alive.

“The more we don’t hear of him, and the more time passes, there is the likelihood that he probably is either dead or seriously wounded somewhere.”

But he said Omar is certainly alive. “We know of that,” he said. “And we have come close to arresting him several times, but he’s been able to escape.”

U.S. forces also have searched for Omar.

How many times he should be dead, I wonder..

Later, I’m heading to Midvalley, no more tank to drag my bag to climb ‘stupendous’ stairs to Komuter Bank Negara, or you can call it, stupidest stairs in the kL (I think you know why). I just have enough walking today. so, I decide to take a cab to Midvalley. That’s no problem taking cab to Midv because it is situated at outskirt of kL, but if you’re deciding to take cab from Midv to city centre during weekends, most drivers will refuse. I assume you know why.

FF, now I’m in cinema hall, new seat, new environment settings, and the most important thing is NO INTERMISSION DURING MOVIE!

Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa aka Malay Chronicles. I don’t know how to write the whole thing, but mybe I can write it in Pros and Cons:

Pros:

1. The angles of shooting have good standard,  no more useless angles, (eg dari orang bukak pintu kereta, tutup pintu kereta, start enjin, pastu reverse kereta keluar garaj, semua tu tak perlu, but its normal view in Malays’ movies)
2. There were some funny parts, and my gf can’t stop laughing  ’semua orang di kampung ini berparut….’
3. There were good sound effect-scene blend.
4. The script(words) by Merong (Stephen Rahman) before the battle with Geruda was quite inspiring, even for people in the cinema hall it feels like, KRU has bring movies quality in our country to another level
5. Best actors: two – Merong and Kemawas..Kewamas is antagonist, but you definitely like his acting
6. I dont know this is good thing or not, but my gf keep saying, ‘macho giler suara!…….haha..yeah, the narrator was good, good enough for epic-type movie
7. The most important thing is, the hall is full of people; malays, chinese, indian. This is rare view for malaysian’s movie because its almost a month after HMM launched, but to be still this many, the review from people who had watched it must be good.

Cons

1. There were some problems with the sound, up-down, up-down volume..i dont know whose mistake is this? whether from production or the gsc problem, but I can said, its quite disturbing the audience.
2. The story to be 100-minute duration is too short. I think epic movie should be longer, at least 2hour plus. This short duration caused the storyline to be like stunted, poor storyline development..it just suddenly, the battle is started..

Overall,

• most words said after movies,,”ok la…blabla2″
• I have seen lots of better movies than this in cinema, but still, its worth money spending. and its better than some hollywood movies i had watched
• This should be one of the best movies produced by Malaysian (based on its budget of RM 8mils)
• no more popcorn masin hehe

Now I just want to rest myself through the holiday, away from exams for a while, take proper diet again, not eating in my room like during exam days. get proper sleep cycle.
1-inch slimmer tummy may be good.

The featured image is taken during my ride to college in Bangalore, unusual traffic jam in Ramaiah College, reason? they’re modifying bumps..oh my..this country just loves BUMPS. add-on; locals indiscipline on the road. Having ride with Barb at 840, reaching at college at 915..10 minute-journey become 30 minutes.

btw, I guess this is last post from me for a while, until the next few weeks. I’m preparing myself for quite a big hurdle in my life. Whoever visits in here, please pray for me that I pass those exams. No need for flying colours, pass is more than enough

He furthered his study for PhD in Medical Parasitology field if I’m not mistaken but what people know most is, his hit single, Andai Itu Takdir Mu which featured as OST in TV3 drama slot, Asmara last year.

I don’t know whether he still remember me or not, but if he read this, I’m the one who was ‘running for my life’ going to the staff room to meet him, because I thought I forgot to write my name and matrix no. on my answer sheet paper of Basic Pathology.
