At this time, phpBB included Spiders/Robots statistics details at Quick Access Area which is part of General Section. In other words, follow below steps to find Spiders/Robots option in your Adminstration Control Panel Area.

Please delete, move or rename the install directory before you use your board. If this directory is still present, only the Administration Control Panel (ACP) will be accessible.

According to phpBB warning, new forum or community website must remove or rename install folder from new forum website. There are two recommendable methods to remove or rename install folder. In other words, use your File Transter Protocal (FTP) software or web-based ftp to login into your database area of your website. As per my personal experience, FileZilla is recommendable and safe File Transfer Protocol software.

Now, login to your Files managing area through either FileZilla or web-ftp system. You will see all supporting folders in your database area as shown in screen shot.

Now, find phpBB’s install folder in your directory. Give right click on that folder to remove or rename install folder. You can keep install folder by renaming that folder. Similarly, you can delete that folder permanently. As per my knowledge, it is better to remove install folder from your directory to avoid further problems. Disconnect from your directory and start posting in your phpBB community site. phpBB nolonger shows a warning in your adminstrator account area once you refresh that page or login to your account area.

Disadvantages of phpBB

• phpBB Forum/ Communities’ sites URL structure is not search engine friendly because phpBB generates URLs without considering post title. In other words, URL of each and every forum post shows only post numbers not Search Engine friendly keywords.
• It is not easy to install a mod and most new phpBB users get confusion.
• phpBB Title tag is generation is improper. In other words, phpBB Forum shows unwanted tags such as “Index Page” and “View Forum” tags in each and every title. So, Keyword density is reduced.
