Bicycling Magazine’s Tour de France Guide Issue (August 2011) listed 16 Supercool, Must-have tees for Summer and yours truly landed 3 tees on the list. Not too shabby. Cycling Pro Tour, Wonder-ful Woman and our EC For Japan Chari-tee all made the list. Thanks Bicycling Magazine – always nice to be appreciated! DeBooms at the Avett Bros. Show

Tim had a long day in the saddle, so we opted for the balcony and avoided the masses near the stage. Didn’t make for great photos, but the show was totally awesome. The Avett Bros. are all about the music and man they get into it! Definitely worth it.

Tonight is gonna be awesome! We were lucky enough to snag tickets to the Avett Brothers special show tonight at the Boulder Theater. A very small venue – so it’ll be a very cool and intimate show. If you’ve never heard of these guys, you better check them out. Their album “I and Loving You“ is recognized as one of the best albums of the 2000′s by Itunes. Couldn’t ask for a better Friday night!

Switzerland Trail With Tim DeBoom

Spent the morning at around 9,000 ft on the infamous Switzerland Trail above Boulder with EC Ambassador, Tim DeBoom. Tim’s in final preparation for the Norseman Extreme in early August. Tim will be journeying to Norway with his brother Tony and photographer extraordinaire, Eric Wynn. Should make for a fun adventure and hopefully a well documented one.

The Switzerland Trail is one mother of a 15 mile run. 10 km uphill, 5km of hard downhill, and about 8+km of rolling uphill. This is the trail where names like Reid, Allen, Newby-Fraser, Molina, Souza…and DeBoom, all tested their legs. This route truly defines the word EPIC.

New Catalog in the Works

We’ve been busy working on the new EC Catalog for this Fall. We can’t show you anything new yet, but here’s a couple shots from our photo shoot over the weekend. Societe Dossard 51

Did you know that in the Tour de France, the race number 51 is considered lucky? The number has been worn by several winners of the race. Eddy Merckx in 1969, Luis Ocana in 1973, Bernard Thevenet in 1975 and Bernard Hinault in 1978. All four men won their first Tour while wearing Dossard 51.
So, in honor of this, we have formed the secret Societe Dossard 51.
