Para ela, uma imagem tem que ter critérios.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Apostando na confluência de linguagens, ela se considera um produto social da cultura eletrônica, acredita na liberdade de criação, mostra que o design tem sim seu potencial transformador e que referências, apesar de primordialmente isoladas, podem se confluir, se bem analisadas, e criar um produto totalmente novo. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;De criar flyers para seu fã clube quando adolescente, aprender a misturar cores com o seu pai até finalmente optar pelo design, ela fez da imagem o substrato para suas criações. Abaixo, Gabi explica a ideia de cada logo do synthorchestra, discorre sobre a cultura do designer e dá referências importantes para quem quer entender seus parâmetros estéticos.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;synthorchestra:&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;b&gt;Como enxerga a cultura eletrônica hoje e qual sua relação com ela?&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Gabi:&lt;/b&gt; Acredito que a cultura eletrônica é um resultado do próprio desenvolvimento da sociedade. Todos nós, de uma forma ou de outra, somos produtos dela. Criamos uma série de artefatos para facilitar nossa vida. E, claro, a arte, de certa forma, ia se aproveitar disso, transfigurar, projetar. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;É possível passar uma sensação sonora através de uma imagem? De que forma variadas linguagens podem interferir uma na outra?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Quando você tem critérios pra fazer o que faz, tudo o que você vive vira parte da sua criação porque você consegue se apropriar das suas influências e estabelecer correspondentes concretos para aquilo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Há uma diferença de você apenas fazer uma ilustração, ou acompanhar com imagens uma música. Porque isso te leva a trabalhos um tanto óbvios. Se você assistir ao vídeo "Sing Sang Sung", do Air, produzido pelo coletivo &lt;a href="http://www.mathematic.tv/"&gt;Mathematic&lt;/a&gt;, por exemplo, você vê como a música é a imagem e vice-versa. É por onde a marca será reconhecida, seja lá onde ela estiver. Quando você compra um produto no supermercado, por exemplo, você tem que confiar naquela embalagem. Ela também é um fator de identificação para um determinado público-alvo. Você pode ver que a bolinha está fora de sincronia. É de propósito. Para que a ideia fique mais clara. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;O que pensa a Gabi, a designer? Quais são suas referências estéticas, no que pauta o seu trabalho?&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Eu sempre tento manter uma estética simples. Não gosto de ornamentos, nada rebuscado. Todo traço tem que fazer um sentido. Esse é o meu estilo. Pesquisar, e com o máximo de simplicidade, passar uma ideia através daquela imagem. Claro que, sou uma profissional, mas se me procuram pelo meu estilo, é daí que eu parto.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Qual o potencial cultural do design, no que ele tem de transformador e libertador?&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;O design é uma profissão antiga. Marcas e logos já eram feitos sem que se tivesse uma denominação. O cara que criava cartazes já era um designer, etc. Então, o design é uma necessidade social de estabelecer uma identidade para produtos e conceitos. Claro, que afora sua faceta comercial, há vários coletivos que vivem de criar parâmetros para outras produções.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Hoje em dia, a produção não é mais vertical. Nem sempre o design se pauta em uma necessidade do cotidiano e aí cria um produto. É possível criar módulos e objetos que não se limitam, não criam nem nomes fechados para que as pessoas interajam como querem com ele. Por exemplo, você cria um produto e o chama de "apoiador", não de "mesa". Dessa forma, não restringe suas possibilidades e faz com que a interação se dê em todo o potencial de suas formas. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Você já participou de produções de festivais como o Motomix que trouxe, entre outros nomes, o Isolée.&amp;nbsp; Como é a produção de um festival nessa magnitude?&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Na agência em que eu trabalho, a empresa geralmente chega com um conceito. "Temos uma verba para um evento que integre cultura, arte e teconologia". A partir daí, vamos atrás. Criamos toda a logística, desde a programação até o material de divulgação. Antigo, o hotel fez sua reforma e convidou diferentes designers para pirar em cada espaço. Num dos quartos, por exemplo, a cama vira uma barraca de camping. Mas não havia ainda uma diferença clara entre a linguagem e seu referente cultural, entre o que era código e o que era estética. Afinal, o que torna a música, eletrônica? O fato de ser reproduzida por equipamentos cujo código binário é o meio pelo qual ela se reverbera?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Já se definiu música eletrônica, a grosso modo, como sendo sons, ruídos harmonizados estritamente produzidos por equipamentos eletrônicos - "A Arte do Ruído" aqui, de Luigi Russolo, encontra sua manifestação absoluta.
