oh, and regarding the xubuntu: the powerpc cd is for my titanium powerbook. it was burned using the macbook, though, since the powerbook doesn't have a cd-burner built in.

speaking of which, i can't get xserver to load on xubuntu. i'll ask you about it once i figure out the details.

I didn't know that you used Macs that long. But then again why would I? Just like I wouldn't tell you that I recently found the first computer while cleaning up: a handed down Apple. Older than yours though. An Apple II Plus. Fun, huh? We should play with the old computers someday (in person obviously since they pre-dated network access).

On another note, I like the Xubuntu install disk you have there. Pretty amusing. Although I must say that you don't actually need the PowerPC version since it's a Macbook with an Intel processor. So go for the normal x86 version (32-bit) for the Macbook. And go for the dual boot, you might find that you'll enjoy it. I know that I'm going for that when I get mine (soon soon, I know). When you do, check out AmaroK, I heartily think it's superior to iTunes!

ohh, keppel keppel. as i was reading, i was thinking to myself: "man, there's no way he's touching that magazine, whatever it is."

my reading material of choice is usually printed articles off of websites - mostly sports, sometimes something that requires more brain juice if i'm up for it.

i was just talking to tiff about it today: do you have a preferred stall that you do your business in?

we have two stalls - one is the normal one, closer to the door and a handicapped one farther away. the handicapped one is bigger and lets more light in, which is good for reading, but it seems to be the more popular choice (HIGH BUTT TRAFFIC!) for the same reasons. i like the smaller one even though it's darker.

you know what's nastier than left behind reading material? when #2 is not so solid and there's a lot of gas involved, and it stays in the inner rim of the toilet. NASTY.
