&lt;p&gt;The Interactive Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing and managing SEM and Display campaigns for FKQ Internet Marketing clients.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Responsibilities include; planning, budgeting, executing and evaluating interactive marketing campaigns. Must be able to assess client’s current interactive campaigns and provide actionable next steps for improvement.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Job Responsibilities:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Aids in the creation of client media objectives and strategies&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Develop and manage SEM and Online Media campaign strategies and tactics for all assigned clients&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Day to day implementation of SEM tactics that include: keyword development, bid management, ad copy testing &amp;amp; budget allocations&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Plan, negotiate and execute Online Media campaigns based on client objectives&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Host ongoing meetings with current and potential Online Media vendors &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Create, monitor and analyze the reporting of SEM and Online Media campaigns&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Grow client revenue by identifying opportunities through interactive media&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Qualifications:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to work independently &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong analytical background &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Problem solving and troubleshooting skills &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong attention to detail&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;In-depth knowledge of Google Adwords and Microsoft AdCenter&lt;/li&gt;

This position will work closely with IT and other areas of the company to explore and develop new online initiatives and opportunities designed to meet and exceed the eCommerce revenue goals.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Develop and implement strategies to increase web site conversion rates, average order size, customer profitability, customer retention, site traffic and reduce cart abandonment rates.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Develop clear and realistic business case scenarios for new product capabilities in order to rationalize resource investments.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Serve as key leader for all online efforts within the organization.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The company’s Wet Seal and Arden B stores compete with specialty apparel retailers, department stores, and other apparel retailers including Abercrombie and Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, BCBG, bebe, Charlotte Russe, and Express.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;While both concepts maintain ecommerce stores designed to serve as an extension of their in-store counterparts, the company does not consider its web-based business to be a distinct reportable segment.&lt;/p&gt;

WS also plans to focus on direct marketing programs and in-store visual merchandising.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Expand its ecommerce business:&lt;/strong&gt; Wet Seal plans to better align its ecommerce CRM initiatives with its store loyalty programs. Additionally, the company intends to expand ecommerce only offerings in certain key merchandise categories while improving ecommerce inventory planning and allocation practices.  Beginning in May 2011, it began to more closely align its ecommerce shopping experience with its stores, which resulted in better alignment of the company’s merchandise assortment and promotional messaging between its websites and stores.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Other ecommerce successes have included the addition of social media features to the company's website, as well as the implementation of a cross channel mobile phone application which allows its customers to design, rate, and by outfits. Its website features allow the company to sell internationally.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;Enough already!  What’s the job?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As the Number 2 person in the ecommerce group, you will report directly to &lt;a href="http://www.linkedin.com/in/towers" target="_blank"&gt;David Towers&lt;/a&gt;, the company's new VP of Ecommerce. I have known David for years, and he's amazing. Incredibly smart. Very business-oriented, yet laid-back and easy to talk to.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;"This position will very much be a partnership with me." -David Towers&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is a senior position within the company, and you will have direct relationships with the president and CEO. You won’t report directly to them, but you will be leading a weekly ecommerce status meeting in the CEO conference room with the company's top executives. Ecommerce is that important to them.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The ideal candidate can be a senior manager or a director currently. You'll have 3 direct reports and lead a team of 13.  The main idea is that “this is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to be a VP of Ecommerce.”  (Dave actually said that.) You must be incredibly strong in web marketing, but this is an effective way to fill in the gaps in your background in merchandising, fulfillment, and technology. In other words, Dave's goal is to turn you into a full-time GM either at Wet Seal or somewhere else.  If that's not the mark of a people builder, I don't know what is.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;During my 90 minute project kickoff call with David, most of my copious notes center on the expertise you will need to bring to this party:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Affiliate marketing&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Comparison-shopping / Online marketplaces&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In other words, you'll need world-class experience in all of these areas (especially PPC, Email, and CRM) in order to be taken seriously as a candidate. The money for this role is phenomenal, and the upside potential for you, personally and professionally, is off the charts.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;But we're not going to give this job to just anyone.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The ideal candidate will have fashion experience. But even if you don't, that's okay as long as you are smart, savvy, and able to function in a fashion environment. Meaning, you must be able to work in a lean, team environment. Wet Seal feels like a small company in terms of its character, so you'll need to be able to roll up your sleeves. Additionally, you'll have to work across multiple functions including merchandising, procurement, logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, etc.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/em&gt;

	&lt;li&gt;Lead strategy and manage execution for SEO.  Drive performance, session increase and conversion with low cost &amp;amp; high ROI.  Utilize knowledge of SEO best practices to guide website production &amp;amp; IT teams with detailed requirements. Identify and manage 3rd party services or consultants as needed.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Lead strategy and manage execution for SEM, affiliate marketing, retargeting, comparison shopping engines, display, and other paid media.  Deliver increase in quality traffic with low cost and high ROI.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Oversee the production of Wet Seal and Arden B websites.  Create disciplined production processes that incorporate the activities of creative, merchant and marketing teams.  Ensure that all areas of the websites are updated with relevant and timely content.  Implement A/B testing capability.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Optimize the Wet Seal and Arden B websites by leading and championing projects that drive conversion including checkout process, cross-selling, outfitter, site cleanup and wish list.  Discover project opportunities with high ROI through detailed analysis of customer &amp;amp; website data.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Oversee the Wet Seal digital photo studio responsible for all product imagery and copy.  Partner with merchants teams toward improvement of creative assets.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;


&lt;p&gt;QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;5+ years of experience in apparel ecommerce.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;3+ years managing staff in a leadership role.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Detailed understanding of end-to-end ecommerce processes.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Exceptional strategic thinking &amp;amp; evaluation skills.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Excellent oral and written communication skills.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:&lt;/p&gt;

Pretty awesome, right?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;Yet it has never been done.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Altisource’s sales collateral uses terms such as “behavioral science principles” and “artificial intelligence driven scripting engines.” This isn’t pretentious; it’s the same stuff that has inspired Mark &lt;a href="http://www.quora.com/Facebook-Growth-Traction/What-are-some-decisions-taken-by-the-Growth-team-at-Facebook-that-helped-Facebook-reach-500-million-users" target="_blank"&gt;Zuckerberg’s growth-oriented vision&lt;/a&gt; for Facebook.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;Seriously.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Think about all the stuff Facebook knows about each of its (now 900 million) members.  For example, I am a Catholic father of six home-schooled kids who has been married for 19 years. And that’s just for starters.  Is it possible that a real estate marketplace could take all that is known about me online, in addition to whatever financial information I give it, and make smarter recommendations to me about where I live?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;You know it is.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Because houses (like people) are information intensive. Meaning, there's a lot to know about them.  Noise, smells, crime, commute time, and schools are just a few of the things that can influence a home’s value.  Not only would a liquid, efficient, transparent real estate market be hugely valuable to buyers – but sellers and investors alike would benefit from knowing ...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Where potential buyers looked for homes&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;How they look for homes&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;What they were looking for, and the words they used to describe it&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;What they found&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;How they made their buying decisions&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The concerns and questions they had about homes, related services, and the company&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Who was involved in their buying decisions&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The roadblocks in the buying process that almost stopped them from buying&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;How long their buying process took, from search to purchase, and &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The trends they see that will affect their buying behavior in the future.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ultimately, in the same way that the federal government now relies on LinkedIn to provide it with up-to-the-minute information and trends on the labor market, so might the Feds rely on marketplaces like GoHoming for the housing market.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;What will you be doing?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The new hire needs to be able to develop the right dashboards to identify, monitor, and interpret key performance indicators – and they must be able to use that information to communicate with senior management.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Currently, Altisource uses Webtrends and Google Analytics for its real estate marketplace, but the company lacks a seasoned professional to dive deeply into those numbers. Altisource intends to relaunch its GoHoming site later this year and significantly increase its marketing spend.  It’s critical that the analytics piece be in place before the relaunch in order to determine the effectiveness of its marketing initiatives across all digital channels (smartphones, tablets, web, etc).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As one of the most vertically integrated companies in the entire residential real estate space, Altisource strengthens the Consumer Portals value proposition with a range of businesses and technology platforms that span the customer experience from end-to-end, including:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;One of America's largest co-ops of mortgage lenders&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;One of the largest real estate appraisal companies&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A large established real estate inspection company&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;One of the nation’s largest real estate brokerage operations&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This will be an extremely challenging job, given that data will flow in vertically and horizontally from everywhere, internally and externally.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The ideal candidate will have a deep analytics background in consumer e-commerce, and you will need to have implementation and integration experience on Webtrends.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Altisource is publicly traded, the stock has performed extremely well over the years and analysts currently think highly of it. They will supply you with a lot of support on the technology front.  The Portal group’s already making money and facilitating tens of thousands of home sales annually.  So, it’s like a startup in an established company with huge potential.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;They are staffing up across the board with top talent.  New team members come from start-ups as well as firms like Experian, CapOne, E*Trade, Booz Allen and Critical Mass.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The position will be based in Atlanta, but there's a chance that the company might consider Boston for the right candidate.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/em&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Now then, reporting to the Director, Consumer Ecommerce, you will be responsible for the definition and execution of the product strategy for mobile web and apps. You'll operate in a matrixed role to define the social media product strategy and collaborate with Product Owners to embed social capabilities throughout the business. As the subject matter expert, you'll stay abreast of the rapidly evolving mobile and social spaces, and bring applicable ideas and technologies to Altisource's customer base.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;strong&gt;HARRY'S COMMENTS:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;em&gt; This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a mobile presence for Altisource. The client doesn't have anything in place today, but as every home buyer knows, mobile is hugely important to the home buying process. If you look at all the marquee names in the real estate technology space, a big component of what they do is mobile. Think RedFin, Zillow, and Trulia.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Altisource is looking to do mobile web as well as mobile applications. Additionally, they seek to do it not only on the GoHoming platform, but in their other businesses as well. This is not an “one and done opportunity, but it's all about putting together the strategy for mobile web and mobile applications across all Altisource digital products.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The new hire must identify the unique features and user experience that the company can bring to mobile devices such as the smartphone and tablets. Altisource is not interested in merely replicating what's happening on the web, but they seek to be value-added in the mobile environment. This role involves asking "What resources do we need to have in place to define the strategy and execute against it?" The company may need to engage with consultants, contractors, service providers to help them bring these things to market as quickly as possible.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;&lt;P&gt;Obviously, speed matters a great deal.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What Altisource is trying to accomplish in the mobile environment is helping people connect with properties (condos, houses, etc), ideally with the aim of transacting.  Think of an eBay for real estate. Now imagine that a buyer is interested in a property and its 9:30pm and they are in a movie.  Suddenly, the buyer gets a text message advising him that he has been outbid on the property. With Altisource, he'd be able to react immediately, whenever, wherever. That's the kind of connectedness that Altisource hopes to facilitate.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;That's just one example.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Another question might be "How can Altisource connect agents with properties? How do we make properties easy to show and sell?" Macro mobile metrics are interesting to Altisource, but the client wants to get more granular than that.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;P&gt;With regard to social, certainly Altisource wants to engage with its customers, but the broader question is "How does Altisource embed social capabilities into its products so that its users can connect with the social graph and a meaningful and productive way?"&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Imagine that someone is shopping on GoHoming and she is interested in a property and she thinks it's a good deal. But she's not quite ready to pull the trigger. At that point, she could post a note to Facebook and share some thoughts with her social graph to get their input.  Altisource's tools will allow such users to get input from their friends and family in order to enlist decision-support. Not only is this is a "win" for the user -- but also it's great for Altisource as a potential marketing vehicle.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Beyond these examples, there are endless opportunities to combine social media tools with Altisource's product suite to better serve users.  For example, what if GoHoming was mashed-up with Pinterest?  Seriously.  With distressed real estate assets, you're not only purchasing a home -- you are purchasing a dream. Altisource wants to help people to use social media and social platforms to turn their home into a dream by putting together the pieces of dream to help them visualize and realize it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/em&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Sr Director of Ecommerce will oversee the strategy, roadmap, implementation, operations, and processes associated with Dollar General's ecommerce activities. The position has P&amp;amp;L responsibility for the ecommerce business and will lead cross-functional activities across other Dollar General departments to develop and deliver sales through the &lt;a href="http://dollargeneral.com" target="_blank"&gt;DollarGeneral.com&lt;/a&gt; web store, complementing other corporate strategic initiatives.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Currently, this role has no direct reports.&amp;nbsp; However, you might pick up 3-4 direct reports (including onsite vendors) responsible for web sales analytics, 3rd party integration and management, and online marketing activities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;HARRY'S COMMENTS:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;em&gt;This month, Tennessee was ranked by &lt;a href="http://chiefexecutive.net/best-worst-states-for-business-2012" target="_blank"&gt;CEO magazine&lt;/a&gt; as the 4th best state in America for business. I lived/ worked in Tennessee in the 1990s, and it was wonderful. Four seasons. Smart people. No state income tax. Fantastic cost of living. Great schools. And &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Tennessee_state_parks" target="_blank"&gt;54 state parks&lt;/a&gt;, covering some 132,000 acres (530 km2) as well as parts of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee National Forest, and Cumberland Gap National Historical Park are in Tennessee.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;In a word: Spectacular.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;I begin with this because Dollar General is based in Nashville, TN (pop. 625K) – “the kind of place you'd want to raise a family.” They should put that on Tennessee license plates.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;When the good people at Dollar General contacted me about this search, I could hardly believe how big they are. They're massive!  With $15 billion in annual sales, Dollar General operates +10,000 small box general stores with everyday low prices that might be described as miniature Walmarts. The value proposition revolves around convenience and low prices.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Most of the company's customers make less than $70,000 a year, and a substantial portion of them make less than $40,000 per year. From a segmentation standpoint, Dollar General refers to subsets of these folks as cherry pickers and coupon clippers.  But basically, these are just regular folks who’re trying to spend as little money as possible, surviving paycheck to paycheck.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;But that's not all there is to it.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Due to the recession, people from higher incomes are Dollar General’s fastest-growing segment. The best word to describe them is “pecuniary,” and they have made saving money into an art form.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;All of these customers have been attracted to the things that Dollar General does better than anyone ...&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt; &lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Their convenience is tough to beat&lt;/span&gt;. With so many stores, Dollar General is in a lot of places their competitors aren't.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;The company's merchandise mix is highly tuned to its customers&lt;/span&gt;, and its 8000 square-foot store footprint is insanely easy to navigate.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;The company has done a lot of things very well in terms of its branding&lt;/span&gt;: it sells Procter &amp;amp; Gamble, Unilever, Kraft and dozens of other big-name brands. But it also sells its own private label products to offer even more savings to its customers. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Bottom line:&lt;/strong&gt; Dollar General has an extremely informal, good-natured, and friendly brand because those are the primary characteristics of its customers. It's textbook great marketing.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;A sleeping giant&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;$15 billion in sales. Think about it.  If Dollar General did a measly 1% of its business online, the company would be ranked #127 in the Internet Retailer Top 500. At only 2% of sales, the company would be ranked #87.  At 3%, #56.  And if Dollar General did 10% of its sales online, it would crack the IR Top 20.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;DollarGeneral.com gets 20 million visits per year, and the company has 1.5 million Facebook fans. Yet the size of its current online business is tiny.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Okay, what’s the job?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;At a high-level, this job is about allowing Dollar General's customers to buy online in a way that is brain friendly and leverages the company's strengths. Time is of the essence: There is quite a bit of promotional planning and buying to do for Q4 2012, and to bring those plans to life will require an e-commerce executive who understands how to function in a large multichannel retailer.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;You'll need to understand supply chain issues, IT integration, procurement, merchandising, as well as marketing – even though Dollar General has a world-class marketing department, and the new hire will get lots of help from them.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;In fact, Dollar General probably needs a marketer with very strong technology chops because while Dollar General has a huge IT department, the new hire must interface with GSI Commerce and fully understand the technical aspects of e-commerce while interacting with others on the marketing team.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Key areas of expertise will include CRM; data mining and warehousing; logistics; online catalog management; order management systems; Web analytics; and website performance and monitoring. I have quite a bit of proprietary information to share with candidates on these functions.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop a solid action plan with milestones for hitting Dollar General's holiday targets. Additionally, at the end of 100 days, you will be expected to have an understanding of where you want to take the e-commerce business short-term, medium-term, and long-term – complete with benchmarks. You should have opinions about which companies Dollar General should look to for inspiration on best practices, and you should have informed ideas about what the company should offer in its stores versus online.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Perhaps most importantly, it's critical that you be able to get things done through others.  You will work with agencies, and you will need to coax results out of people who don't necessarily report to you – people from merchandising; finance; logistics supply chain; purchasing; inventory management; marketing; and so on.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;How will you get those people to cooperate, and even prioritize, specific ecommerce initiatives? Obviously, you'll need to be a great presenter and a good salesperson. You'll need to be brief, clear, and present concepts in a way that generate buy-in.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;This is an unbelievable opportunity for the right person. Very few of my clients have the ability to bring to bear on their e-commerce initiatives what Dollar General can. Dollar General is enormous yet thoughtful. The people I have spoken with our regular folks who just happen to be intensely bright and incredibly business-oriented.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Reporting to the Director of D2C Marketing, the Ecommerce Manager is responsible for managing and continuously improving Lindt (USA)'s ecommerce initiatives.  This entails website management and maintenance, and managing the Ecommerce Specialist. This person will also manage outsourced 3rd party vendor IT functions of the website.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Accountabilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Business Intelligence and Performance Analytics&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt; In partnership with the Director of D2C Marketing, set strategy for the growth vision, and overall health of the Lindt USA Ecommerce channel.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Identify and recommend new opportunities to drive sales, visibility and efficiencies for the growth of Ecommerce business channel, including site functionality and design, and 3rd party/vendor effectiveness.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Evaluate KPI’s of Ecommerce business channel with respective teams to monitor trend, performance and identify any areas of opportunity.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;This includes but is not limited to sales, profits, website analytics, program effectiveness and overall efficiencies.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Manage all technical and design related site upgrades for Lindt USA’s website and supporting platforms.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain brand appropriate quality, design and functionality of the Lindt USA Ecommerce website.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Research and develop online business analytics and supporting programs as a vital component of online business decisions and tracking online consumer behavior and trends.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Conduct online research of Lindt USA competition, including but not limited to website content and features, and online marketing programs, with goal of ensuring brand differentiation within market.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work in conjunction with the Director of D2C Marketing to develop the P&amp;amp;L for all ecommerce related expenses and sales.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Deliver upon all sales targets set for ecommerce channel, and all metrics set within the P&amp;amp;L/budgets.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure maximum cost efficiencies and balanced spending are consistently achieved; track and ensure accurate budget forecasting, program ROI and benchmark identification. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Management of Lindt’s Online Marketing Campaigns&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt; Support Ecommerce Specialist in evaluation of integrated online marketing programs – including email marketing, search marketing &amp;amp; optimization, online partnerships and/or affiliations for Lindt brand and product line for growth of the website traffic and sales.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Utilize website for optimization and promotion of business channels including Retail Stores, Marketing, R.S.V.P. and B2B/corporate gifts, to ensure a consistent multi-channel brand for consumers.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work with Lindt’s Search Marketing partner to ensure Lindt’s search engine rankings (paid and organic) are optimized, in addition to identifying emerging trends and tests for website traffic &amp;amp; sales growth.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Manage online marketing expenses, technology/functionality expenses (e.g. outsourced to technology vendor), program expenses and ROI. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Online Properties Management&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strategic partnership management of internet based applications:&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt; Manage online properties for Lindt &amp;amp; Sprungli (USA) to include microsites, and www.lindtusa.com in conjunction with appropriate teams (Marketing).&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Partner with Director of D2C Marketing as contact for Lindt’s online technology provider, and/or design and marketing agencies, work with Lindt D2C and Marketing teams in regards to online programs and opportunities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Partner with appropriate teams to assist in online portal management (e.g. shopping portals, partnership websites) as opportunities arise.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work with Director of D2C Sales to support online portal and technology needs.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work with product development teams on a continuous basis to understand Lindt’s everyday products, new products, and promotions, key selling dates, and forecasted sales, and ensure this assortment is available on Lindt USA’s ecommerce site.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure all online content is updated, relevant and appropriate for Lindt audiences and customers alike through administration of website content including corporate and product-related items.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support relationship with Fulfillment to ensure proper inventory assortment and order management are executed for Ecommerce channel. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tracking and Analysis:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt; Develop and analyze timely analysis of Lindt USA’s sales performance, highlighting key placement performance and provide insightful learning’s, implications and recommendations to help guide managements business decisions.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work with Product Development and D2C Planning to select and forecast appropriate product assortment for online audience, identifying strengths and/or opportunities as they arise. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Staff Management and Development&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt; Train, manage and develop the Ecommerce Specialist and provide support for their responsibilities and initiatives, evaluation of strategy and effectiveness of programs, and communication of policies and procedures as communicated by VP of D2C.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor effectiveness of all online marketing initiatives driven by Ecommerce Specialist, and analyze initiatives together to incorporate learnings into all future initiatives and programs. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
