80 watts of pure power
As my first venture into solar energy this has been a nice panel. I've had it about a month. I paired it with a "Xantrex Technologies 802-1500 XPower Powerpack 1,500-Watt Portable Backup Power System" and a "Sunforce 60032 30 Amp Digital Charge Controller". The panel is 12 volt, 4.6 amps though at this point I'm seeing up to 13.6 volts and 5 amps. I suspect over time as the panel weakens it will be more toward the 12 volt, 4.6 amp. The panel was simple to hook up and came with what was needed. I did go purchase new wire as I needed more distance for where I mounted it. I'm able to charge the battery from dead to full in 2 days. If I were to rotate the panel through the day I feel I could fully charge in 1 day.

Nice for backup charging and learning. For any real application you would need a ton of these though.

Great panel
Took the panel to Death Valley for a few days to charge my trailer battery and while I ran laptop and iPod stereo for hours during the night, it quickly recharged the battery the next morning. Built a solid stand/rack to keep it upright using pvc pipe that's easy to disassemble, secure and lock. At 80 watts, it's just one panel where some 65watt units have 3 panels.

Works as it should. Easy to install.
I purchased 4 of these solar panels. They were easy to setup, and have been working just fine for the last month. They have been operating at near the specified 80 watts each which is pretty good for December in Utah.

Good starter
I knew when I purchased this item that I wouldn't be able to power much of anything off the sun. Not a low power fan or even a 13 inch tv. That takes a battery and the inverter. Will do the job with 12 volt items like a tire inflator though. Now I want a couple 200 watt panels. Not a bad starter introductory purchase.

60Watt Sunforce Solar Kit
Excellent solar kit - solar very easy to setup and use - works flawlessly. One star deducted because the PVC mounting frame assembly is cumbersome. Too many bolts and wing nuts - takes about 45 minutes to one hour to assemble. I bought it for it's portability and the mounting frame assembly is too time consuming. I've overcome that by using cable ties in lieu of the wing nuts and bolts. But Sunforce needs to devise an easier frame assembly. Excellent solar kit regardless!

Chugging power
This system comes with its own charge controller and inverter, so don't buy another one. Was surprised by the sturdy support system; good-quality wing nuts instead of screws were a pleasant surprise. Panels are a bit touchy about being installed, but once you'd got them in place, just plug 'em in, and you're good to go. Power output depends on available light, of course, but you can run your laptop. If you run out of battery power, you can get up and charge the laptop and do something else; you're supposed to take breaks from the 'puter anyway, remember? Get a big battery or two with this and put power aside for when you need it. (Been watching for a couple years for the price to come down on this one; when it did, and Amazon included free shipping, made the purchase; glad I did). Suggestion; the only thing that would make this better would be wheels to allow the array to be maneuvered toward the sun.

Solar Charger
Great product, you can not beat this price, comes with 7 amp charge controller and 200 watt power inverter. I have it mounted on the top of a Motorhome just to keep the batteries topped off, keeps me from having to run my generator except to run my coffe maker and microwave.

Solar powered RV
To date I have purchased 10 15-watt panels over the last two years. This year I set up a panel in my back yard for testing to see what I could expect from the panel. The panel was mounted in the horizontal position to simulate being mounted on top of my trailer. The test panel was connected to my 125 amp-hour 12 volt deep cycle battery through a Sunsei charge controller. The battery was discharged about 40% prior to starting the test. My test results showed the test panel put 5 amp-hours back into the battery during a cloudless sunny day. Maximum panel output at midday was just over 700ma. My intent in testing the panel was to see if I could use solar power to keep my 12 battery on my trailer fully charged. I installed 6 panels on top of my trailer and they are producing 4.2 to 4.3 amps at midday in early June for a total of 30 amp-hours on a clear sunny day. The battery use in the trailer during weekends is approximately 40 to 45 amp-hours. There is very little use during the week (approximately 5 amp-hours per day for the LP detector and refrigerator gas valve) so the solar system is able to fully recharge the battery for the next weekend. The trailer is located at 7000 ft elevation in the mountains and has been running in this mode for 4 weeks with no system degradation.

Flies up and down, Does not turn
Basically, when the thing is flying, all you can do is keep it from crashing into things. I can't fly it around and land it, and I am a somewhat experienced R/C operator. Still, it's fun. As long as you have a double-height ceiling.

Airhog Reflex
I purchased this helicopter one day ago, and after a few crashes, I can now fly around the room and land without much trouble. Follow the instructions before attempting to fly. It took two short flights to get the trim set, then practice. I have had 3 crashes where a blade has come off, but was easy to put back on. Very sturdy construction and enjoyable to fly.

Costs too much, not responsive, controls need work
My 10 year old son bought this heli after using the Nano Hawk plane for one day when it broke beyond repair. He really enjoys flying planes and helicopters but for the .00 plus tax we paid at Target for this toy, it just didn't measure up. His complaints were that the controls for the right, left, forward, and backward movement took too long to respond and weren't very powerful. It took over an hour to charge for a 10 minute flight time...too long. This helicopter is much more durable than the Havoc Heli which broke after a few months and Nano Hawk which broke in a day, but because of it's limitations, I can't recommend it for the money. My son is an intermediate flyer. I would not recommend this for anyone under 10 years old unless they have flying experience. He had fun with it, but it's frustrating.

Bad choice for children
After seeing a commercial every time we turned on the tv, our 6 year old wanted this from santa! My husband said as they opened it, we are in for trouble. He said there was no way our son could plug the reflex in to charge. After 3 flights and only one by our son, it broke. I was on hold for over an hour to be told yes they know of the stabilizer problem, but we cannot get a new one. They suggested we return it to the store we bought to from for a refund. Needless to say we have had a ton of tears over this junky toy.

Awesome - better than expected
I bought a second-hand Havoc (the Reflex's smaller cousin) and had a blast flying it until it fell apart. I decided to replace it with the Reflex, and so far I've been very impressed.

The Reflex is basically twice the size, power, and price of the Havoc. It's also MUCH more controllable - you can control the altitude, forward/backward speed, and rotation. It still takes a lot of concentration and a fairly open space to fly, but it's a huge step up from other models, including the Havoc. I've only crashed it once, so I don't know how well it will stand up over time, but it sure feels solid, and the fold-away wings really do work as described.

The flight time is impressive - I still haven't completely run it down from the first charge, and I've had it in the air for well over 10 minutes. It even came 100% charged out of the box (it's supposed to come partially charged.)

In hindsight, I don't know if it's worth [...] - you might consider waiting to see if the price drops - but it's a heck of a lot of fun and a great way to relieve stress

Not Worth it
After reading most reviews I decided to buy this product. I already have the belt and love it. But this is not one size fit all as they make it seem. I am 5'10, 180. I got some long legs. These could barley come over my butt, further more to fasten. After trying to fix the pads, that was a piece of work. If you a short and small like the woman on the box, then yes, but please stop saying one size fits all, cause it don't. I don't see how a man can wear this.

Real good
Ijust recieved my shorts, and will keep you updated on how they are working. So far, they really do make your legs and bottom contract. As far as the pads, just be careful when putting them on, and make sure you get the right size, it will be fine. I put the leg pads on first, remember that, it makes it much easier :)

very time consuming to take off/put on
I had previously bought the ab belt and loved it, so decided to give this a try. absolutly hated the pants/shorts.. they are very hard to take off and put on, very time consuming.

Disappointed
I was unable to use this product and returned it after a few days. Although the shorts did fit me, the pads were difficult to maneuver once I turned the battery pack on. Also it was difficult to remove the entire unit. I have another Slendertone product, and am extremely happy with it. More important Slendertone customer service are professional and accommodating. They were courteous and helped me return the product and the extra
gel pads.

My Slendertone
This is the first time I have used any electric muscle stimulation. The Slendertone Abs came out of the box ready to go. I had no problems figuring out how to operate the toning belt, and it fits comfortably. I am a fairly skinny person trying to get rid of a layer of fat, and wanted to use this for toning. I realized the actual belt is designed to fit thin people to people much bigger than I. Regardless, the fit was fine.

I purchased the product under the impression that I'd be able to use it regardless of my activity. This is true at low to moderate settings. As I progressed to high settings, I realized that I needed to isolate my movements to prevent stimulation of the nerves in my hips or an awkward flexing of my abs when I was in a bad position. I ended up lying down when the setting was high.

I am satisfied with the Slendertone Abs. I live in Korea, and see similar items advertised on TV, but this design seems to be the easiest to use and stimulates the most abdominal muscles. It even gets the lovehandles - an area missed by some of the competition.

The downside: the pads that came with my belt were made of 'medical grade' gel and worked well the first few times. For the cost of the replacements, I would expect the pads to last longer. The buildup of skin cells degrades the performance of the product. I have read online that people have corrected this issue by using wet sponges (which also uniformly distribute the electrical stimulation). I have not yet tried this, though I will.

The belt can only be used for one purpose. This is obvious in the product description, but I would now like to be able to stimulate other muscle groups, and this belt is not designed to do so.

In all, I got what I expected. I am satisfied with this product.

Slendertone seems to work well
I was a bit skeptical, but after using the product for the past 4 weeks, it seems to have tightened up my abs. My pants seem to be fitting looser in the waist too. The gel pads seemed to be losing their strength after about 2 weeks. I changed them out at the end of 3rd week.

Ab Toner
I have been using the ab belt for over 2 weeks now. I can attest to the fact that my stomach muscles are getting a good workout, by the strength of contractions. I'd like to fully review the product after the 8 weeks it says the ab belt needs to provide muscle toning. The product works as advertised, and has a decent battery life before it needs a recharge- about 3 uses on high levels.

Actual toning as opposed to slow bulking up
I naturally have poor muscle definition, but a few weeks' use of this thing helped even me. The ab belt can help you no matter what your degree of natural muscle tone. One note: my sister and I did an abs workout together, and she beat me, despite my newly good-looking abs. Granted, I wans't doing those particular exercises regularly. However, I was a bit disappointed. Now, on the other hand, this device will give you that ripply, dynamic, toned look, as opposed to doing crunches, which always just gave me bigger abs. Basically, this device is much more comprehensive and effective than exercising your abs the "good old-fashioned way."

Slendertone Belt
I've used many products similar to Slendertone, by far it's the best on the market. No batteries to buy or gel to apply. I use my belt every other day, twice a day, and two months later I'm still using the original adhesive pads.

Phenomenal edition -- can't wait for Season 2!
There have been some really great reviews and I don't have much to add that they haven't already written. I am thoroughly enjoying this edition of ST:TOS Season 1 and I really like the new/updated audio track and the updated graphics. I also like how with the press of a button I can toggle back and forth between the 'original' and 'updated' versions -- mid-show!

Worth every penny!
I bought these for my husband for his 50th birthday. We have been watching one episode every evening and with the new special effects and extra footage he swears he hasn't seen since childhood, well neither one of us ever falls asleep. A must for anyone who has ever enjoyed any of the Star Trek franchises . . . this isn't your mothers Star Trek anymore.

A Must-Buy
I have been a fan of ST for over 3 decades now, in the process of introducing it to my kids in fact - so I won't waste your time on reviewing the show itself in terms of content. If you are reading this you likely are a fan already. But what of the presentation?

The HD transfers are amazing. I have the series in 3 forms already: aging VHS tapes (off the air from WUAB in Cleveland in the 80s); Laserdisc (yes, the whole set); and DVD. The difference in quality of this set is absolutely stunning. The level of detail almost is distracting at times, especially knowing that it was never visible in any prior way these episodes were watched as they were never in theaters.

I was concerned about the new special effects and whether they would detract from the spirit of the shows I love so much, but IMHO they do not. Watching the video commentary included with Balance of Terror you can see the dedication the team that worked on this had to not destroying the original; even to the point of creating "proximity phasers" so that the photon-torpedo looking phasers from that episode would mesh with the sound effects, that could not be altered. The level of attention to detail and respect for the original creative process that the producers had when they were made is amazing. The really great thing they did was to include the originals on the same disc - you can even switch back and forth if you wish (to the great annoyance of anyone else in the room).

This set is terrific - buy it now if you love Trek.

BTW - the reported sound issues appear to have been solved for Pioneer players with an update; I'm not sure if Samsung has updated yet. I have a Sony player and had no problems.

Comment on the price and the CGI upgrades
If you recall, the original Season 1 DVD was released for 0 MSRP. I bought mine for 5, so the price for this high-def upgrade is not bad at all. (And if you think the current price is still too high, just wait for the price to drop. Like all the other Star Trek discs, it will eventually be available for half its current amount.)

As for the CGI upgrades:

- They really didn't impress me too much. There's maybe 30 seconds of new footage per episode (on average), which is nothing to get excited about, and the only episodes where I think CGI adds to the storyline are the Doomsday Machine (aka the Horn'o'Plenty) and the Ultimate Computer in later seasons. In some episodes the CGI is so sparse you can't even see it (like Devil in the Dark).

- In fact, I actually prefer the original episodes with NO upgrades of any kind (just clean the negatives). I liked the model effects/ hand-painted landscapes that were used in the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and the Original Series. They were the result of artists giving months of their lives to bring us entertainment, and those original scenes should be preserved. (Same goes for the unaltered Star Wars movies.)

Oh one more thing:

- Star Trek's first season is the most solid season of all the series. Gene Roddenberry imported lots of talented writers from the world of science fiction novels (like Harlan Ellison), and both Gene Roddenberry & Gene Coon had many fresh ideas that they had been working on for roughly two years time (1965-67), such that the end result was a fantastic "boom" on the screen. Nearly every episode I would label as "great".

- Plus, you don't get a skimpy 20 episodes of only 40 minutes (like today's modern shows). You get nearly 30 high-quality episodes, each 51 minutes long! A great deal.

Catch up with the iconic original series
The reboot of Star Trek with a new feature film is just great. I was very concerned when the first trailer had that goofy shot of a pre-teen James Tiberius Kirk ditching a sports car off the side of a cliff. But the movie delivers and looks even more impressive on a second viewing.

If you've seen the film three times already, perhaps the best way to satiate your ST fix is Star Trek: The Original Series Season 1 on BluRay (9.99; Paramount). This has every option I wanted in the standard DVD release. You get the entire first season in sterling new prints and sound (stereo or mono) and best of all you don't have to choose between the classic edition and the revamped all-new-special-effects version (which I despise). The set comes with both, along with a host of extras. It's a little more expensive than the most recent standard DVD version, but since you get both versions of the TV show (rather than just the spruced up new version), to me it's a better value. And it really does look smashing. A host of Star Trek DVDs come out the week after the movie opens as well, including BluRay boxed sets of the movies and "best of" DVDs for the various TV shows that only contain four episodes each. (What's the point of that?) But this is the original TV series done right.

Unintended Consequences
After faithfully using the Slendertone Women's Flex Abdominal Toning System Belt for nine months, my wife gave birth to a robot.

We've now spent thousands of dollars on lithium batteries and stainless steel cleaner in an effort to keep our little bundle of joy healthy and shiny. Sure, my wife's abdominals look like a xylophone, but was it really worth it? I think not.

Not that Bad
I wasn't sure About this product the first time I saw it. I was quite skeptical but a month later I saw it again and had the money So I said why not. Well I can tell you this works the hell out of your abs, the intensity level is ridiculous. I went max one day but couldn't do it the next because it was to much, I had to drop it down by 10. I work out and trying to lose my gut, though I cant see my 6pack yet My abs feel super tight to a point where I could feel the muscle. I'm not an overweight guy So I can still see the lining coming along and feel this product is helping especially while working at my desk, I wear it for 40 mins mid afternoon then When I get out of work I hit the gym. I had it for less than 2 weeks and I do notice a difference. Battery life does suck, after 2 or maybe 3 uses with Duracell batteries, you'll need new ones. I recommend getting rechargeable ones, it will save you money in the long run. As far for the sticky Pads I'm still using my first issued ones, but after 17 or so uses you can still try to use them if they barley stick or pay 7.00 to get new ones. Just pray that they don't slip out of place or your in for a painful shock.

I purchased this belt after reading the reviews and I figured I would give it a shot and if I didnt like it I would return it. I am on my 9th session as we speak, and I am already seeing slight results! I am 19 years old, 5'4", and weigh about 130lbs. Other people would describe me as skinny, but I can't seem to look past my stubborn belly fat. In the past, I have tried different types of workouts to get a nice tummy, and even fell into the Bender Ball scam, but I have scoliosis so any type of crunches hurt my back. After using the belt 9 times, I am starting to see those sexy lines on either side of my belly button. Haven't seen those since I was dancing 3 times a week! Like other people have already stated, I think this product works the best on the people who already have close to a flat tummy. The batteries have not died yet (infact, the meter on the belt says the battery life is full) and the pads are still sticky. In my opinion I am moving rather slowly, like I said I am on my 9th session, and I just turned it up to level 73 of 99. Maybe thats slow, maybe its not. Im probably going to order some more pads right now, because I really like this belt and I will be using it for a while.

It never worked, broken.
Item never worked and when I atempted to return item I could not find it in my purchase history on Amazon. It is as if the purchase never occured. I feel that my money was taken and a full refund is in order. I have my receipt, bank statement but Amazon.com will not let me process a refund.

Slendertone Gymbody Abs Belt - Mens

I ordered the Slendertone - expecting to be disappointed, but hoping for the best. I am relatively fit (work out 3-4 times a week), but am having trouble losing in belly/hips area. I have used the slendertone belt for only 10 days straight - and can't believe how I'm seeing definition already - particularly in my upper abs. I was planning on giving it 14 days before judging, but I could see a difference after 5 days. And last time I did weight training, I was actually stronger. I'm now thinking of getting th slendertone shorts. First few days were uncomfortable, but now the electronic shocks don't bother me - Totally think this is worth it, and can't wait to see results after a month! Just in time for beach season!!

Interesting box design
If your a fan of classic TV, and fan of I Love Lucy, one of the most popular of the genre... you can't go wrong with the box set.

The box itself is a pretty clever work of art. I'd recommend keeping the clear plastic sleeve and insert since the box is an odd shape and hard to keep dust free or stack on a shelf if you need to do so at some point. The actual DVD's are in two fan style boxes shaped as half hearts. Not bad, but sometimes a little fussy to toggle through.

One of the best things is that it has the lost pilot. The very beginning narration is actually a restoration with the original narrator re-recording his lines (you can hear it's an older gentleman). The rest is the classic I Love Lucy you've seen on TV for years.

in the old days, comedians had to be more talented
You had to be able to write, sing, dance, act, and produce - this Lucille Ball is just bursting with talent, and makes today's celebrities pale in comparison.

There were no props, just great banter and deceitful tricks among old friends.

My five year old just loves Lucy and Ricky, and I'm so glad she prefers this to something horrible and flat like sponge bob.

Timeless Comedy Never Goes Out of Style
Having recently viewed some 80s and 90s sitcoms I realized how quickly (and badly) television comedy can date. Age really does weary them and the years condemn. This is partly due to repetition and partly because the comedy probably wasn't all that good to begin with.

In a radio interview in 2008, Jerry Lewis noted that modern comedians had told him that his visual style of comedy was out of date - he responded that visual comedy never went out of date, it's just that modern comedians don't have the discipline or the work ethic to pull it off. Lewis hit the nail on the head - modern comedians, often lacking maturity; life experience; breadth of skills or even a willingness to serve a long-term comedic apprenticeship simply don't have the tools to create lasting comedy. If we accept that comedic talent doesn't just fall out of the sky - and that it does require years (decades) of hard work, then we have a real problem. We now have a television industry that doesn't want anyone over the age of 25 appearing in their shows and the result is a collection of sitcoms that are little more than strings of sarcastic one-liners in which every line has been audience tested for reaction. Mechanical, formula-driven, repetitive and time limited.

Lucille Ball was (still is) one of the all-time comedy greats of American television - whether at visual comedy; slapstick; pathos; quick one-liners or any other facet of what makes us laugh. Combine Lucille Ball with an ensemble of other highly skilled and experienced performers like Desi Arnaz; Vivian Vance and William Frawley and you have all the basics for a timeless comedy. Superimpose upon this some brilliant scriptwriting and you have "I Love Lucy". Almost six decades old and still as funny as ever. And you can bet that it will still be just as funny in another six decades - Seinfeld got tiresome after one decade, despite being hailed as the comedy guru of the 1990s.

The only downside of watching the nearly 200 episodes in this collection is that eventually you'll have to go back to watching the current crop of sitcoms, only to be even more disappointed with them than you were before. That's when you have to unpack the first DVD in this box set and start viewing I Love Lucy all over again.

This collection is cheap at twice the price.

If you are interested in this then you should also consider buying the other comedic genius of the era - Groucho Marx in "You Bet Your Life".

I couldn't be happier!!
I am an avid I Love Lucy fan, I'm just so completely pleased to have every episode in one complete set. The sets are very organized, grouped by seasons. I didn't know until I got this set that there were a few episodes that i've never seen. Any Lucy fan will be completely over joyed with this set. If you know a Lucy fan, to surprise them with this set would caused them to become your number one fan.

The reveiw [...] by Mr.peter m bracke is wrong. He said that the isolated soundtrack is 5.1 dts sound,on the jerry goldsmith audio commentary track.He is wrong its in two channel momo sound.I dont understand him doesnt he even watch of hear the dvds hes reveiwing.Its amazing the other four ape films has the soundtrack in 5.1 dts sound but not the best soundtrack of the series by the great jerry goldsmith.Another scew up by 20th century fox. Maybe Mr.Bracke could resond to my comments.Before you post a reveiw watch the disk.....

GO APE with this box set!
With just a few minor quibbles, this is a top-notch box set. The film transfers are gorgeous, the case is attractively designed, and the included book is exhaustive and loaded with color photos of the films and props. The "making of" documentaries are also quite extensive and well done. The only drawback is the little squishy rubber knobbies that the discs are glued to (yes I had to scrape some glue off the spindle of at least one disc). Once removed, you can't really get them back on. And for disc protection it's not really an ideal way to store them either.

I had only seen the first movie prior to buying this set, and I was not disappointed. While the 5th movie is rather weak, and the 2nd also (although it sort of redeems itself by the time we get to the finale), the 3rd and 4th movies are both excellent sequels.

You really can't go wrong with this set. You don't get any useless "collectible" thingies that you never really wanted like you do with other sets.

Planet of the Apes Anniversary Edition
I was pretty jazzed when I ordered this set, as I fondly remembered Planet of the Apes movies from my teens when they first came out. When I watched the original movie in the set, it was as good as I remembered. But when I put in the 2nd BD-ROM, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, the disc did not work. It would load the menu, but when you tried to play the movie it would go through the intro and then jump back to the main menu. Very disappointing.

Excellent Set
I have been a Planet of the Apes fan since I was a kid. I got the digitally remastered DVD's a while back in the Ape Head collectors set, and thought it could get no better than that. I was wrong. In Blu-Ray these movies are fantastic. I have never seen them look so clear, even during their re-releases in the theater. It adds a whole new life to these films...they look like brand new. If you are an Apes fan, you HAVE to have this.

Worst packaging ever
This is my first review after many years on Amazon. The packaging for this set is the worst I have ever seen for a video set. The discs are held in by rubber knobs that make it almost impossible to get them back into the case when done. I will end up putting my discs in a different case.
