The new track sees the three acts borrowing from the past, and updating legendary House vocals now resting on a powerful, signature bed of percussion, bass, warmth, and short melodies. The result blends that vintage DNA with modern club energy, creating an infectious hook built specifically for packed dancefloors. Pretty much a Mark Knight seal of approval right there.

‘Bad Man’

True to Toolroom’s persona, ‘Bad Man’ centres around crisp percussion, groove, and rolling basslines, topped with vocal energy designed to ignite peak-time moments. The track showcases Mark’s ability to merge classic and contemporary, a hallmark of his two-decade run at the top of the House music scene.

Rebirth Records is celebrating a major milestone in 2026 with the release of Rebirth 20, a special anniversary compilation marking two decades of the acclaimed Italian imprint. Founded and run by Brescia-based Daniele ‘Shield’ Contrini, the label has assembled an impressive roster of artists for this landmark release.

The project arrives a decade after Larry Heard (Mr. Fingers) curated an iconic compilation for the label, and follows last year’s celebrated Alfredo compilation Paraíso: True Spirit of Ibiza. Rebirth 20 represents a dialogue between generations connected by a shared belief in timeless sound.

A limited-edition double vinyl has just gone out today May 15th, with digital releases which will follow in two parts during June and July, featuring new remixes of the label’s most iconic tracks alongside rare gems ready to shine again.

The compilation brings together an eclectic mix of established names and emerging talent. Alva Noto, Glenn Underground, Makèz, Luciano & Michel Cleis, Cromby, Terrence Parker, Martinou, DJ Babatr, RSS Disco, Liquid Liquid, John Ciafone, Red Axes, Silicone Soul, Cengiz, Nick Holder, and Einka are all featured, with more artists still to be announced. EDC Las Vegas is sadly not immune to these issues; the National Weather Service issued a strong wind warning for Las Vegas Motor Speedway, expecting 20-30mph winds and peak speeds surpassing highs of 60mph on Sunday, May 17. Specifically, the weather alert is for 2pm – 5am, encompassing the entire final day of the festival, potentially impacting stages, other temporary structures and entry/exit experiences. Strong winds are also likely to adversely affect Sunday’s post-EDC road conditions, kicking up dust and rattling larger vehicles.

Reassuringly, wind struggles are not new to EDC Las Vegas. Audiences can rest easy knowing Insomniac will continue working closely with local agencies and taking necessary precautions to ensure festival-goer safety with minimal disruption to the experience. While previous editions suffered from temporary stage shut-downs or reduced production, the festival did not need to close early since 2012, and is not expected to this year. Attendees should plan ahead, allowing for extra time to get to/from the event and possibly consider alternative sets to attend should a stage need to close. Stay safe under the electric sky!

The venue took to social media to make the announcement, claiming it was always intended to be a temporary venture until the site’s future development was determined. Now the time has come and BNYDC has confirmed development plans for the site, which will repurpose it for climate infrastructure and clean energy production.

Brooklyn Storehouse will give its final bow during a Halloween event this Fall. Thankfully, New Yorkers will get the entire Summer to enjoy both Brooklyn Storehouse and Pacha New York before Brooklyn Storehouse closes its doors forever.

The debut of Nine Inch Noize at Coachella 2026 shows that Boys Noize (Alex Ridha) is a key player in electronic music today. As an Iraqi-German DJ and producer, he breaks down genre barriers and earns respect from techno fans while staying connected to the underground scene. Ridha shines on stage and in the studio, creating music for a wide range of artists, including A$AP Rocky, Bon Iver, Frank Ocean, Arca, Virgil Abloh, and Lady Gaga. He has collaborated with Keinemusik, Shygirl, Kelsey Lu, Rico Nasty, and VTSS, and has remixed Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, A.G. Cook, and Solomun. The Nine Inch Noize partnership that started in 2025

For Ridha, his successful career is just the beginning. In 2025, Boys Noize performed with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross on the Nine Inch Nails’ Peel It Back tour and co-produced most of the soundtrack for TRON: Ares, including the GRAMMY-winning single ‘As Alive As You Need Me To Be.’ This partnership led to the formation of Nine Inch Noize, which debuted with a viral performance at Coachella, praised by SF Gate as “one of the festival’s greatest performances of all time.” The Nine Inch Noize LP also released that week to great reviews.

As a solo artist, Boys Noize remains active in music, with his eighth solo album set to come out in the fall of 2026. Rising from clubs to festivals to stadiums, Ridha continuously promotes underground talent through his labels Boysnoize Records and the newly launched ONES and ZEROS. His independent spirit drives him, while his talent keeps him in demand, and his passion for music ensures he stays relevant. Few artists have crossed musical boundaries like Boys Noize. His sound is unique, and his message is clear: embrace everything, compromise nothing.

Dansyn has been building toward this kind of moment for a while now. The Toronto-born producer carries a background that most house artists do not have: punk, metal, live production. Landing on Lip Service, the label Sidepiece built from scratch, says something about where this record sits in the current landscape. This is not a label that throws darts at the wall. Every release on that roster is intentional, curated for the dance floor with a clear point of view. The fact that Sidepiece was already spinning ‘Work It Out’ during their SiriusXM Miami Music Week set and in Lip Service Radio 006 before the official release date tells you everything you need to know about how much they believe in this one.

That timing is no accident. Summer is when tech house finds its biggest audiences, when festival crowds and pool parties and rooftop sets all converge into one long, sweaty, beautiful season of dancing. Dropping ‘Work It Out’ now puts it in rotation at exactly the right moment. By the time peak festival season arrives this thing will be everywhere.

The Brazilian-born, Lisbon-based artist has released music on labels including Afterlife, Kompakt, and Mute Records, while performing at globally recognized stages such as Hï Ibiza, DC10, and Coachella.

Meanwhile, Freedom Fighters — the psychedelic-focused project of Israeli producer Shahaf Efrat — continues bringing a genre-bending approach to electronic music through releases on labels including Iboga, Armada, Nano Records, and Monstercat.
