The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the latest notification for conducting the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, in 2022.

SSC conducts this CHSL Competitive examination every year to recruit various Group C posts like Lower Divisional Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and different Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc.

Vacancy Information:

Total Numbers of Posts: 4500 vacancies (Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO))

Pay Scale (Salary Information):

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200)
Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs. 29,200-92,300)
Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100)

Age Limit for SSC CHSL Exam 2023:

As of 01-01-2022, the candidate's age must be between 18-27 years/. Candidates born before 02-01-1995 and after 01-01-2004 are not eligible to apply.

Note:

Upper age limit relaxation is applicable for various categories like SC/ST, OBC, PwDB, Defence Personnel, Central Government Civilian Employees, Widows, Divorced Women etc;

Application Fee:

Eligible candidates must pay Rs.100/- as an application either through online payment mode or offline challan payment from the prescribed banks (Mostly SBI - State Bank Of India Challan).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST. PwBD, Ex-Servicemen are exempted and have no need to pay any application fee.
