What Is Nirmohi Akhara? Where Did It Get Started ?

Finally the long waited Ayodhya verdict is out. As per the verdict, the 2.7 acre dispute will be shared in 3 equal parts to the Hindu Mahasabha (representing the Hindus), Nirmohi Akhara and the Sunni Central Waqf Board (representing the Muslims) and to the Nirmohi Akhara.

Majority of the Indians are well aware of the first two boards (Hindu Mahasabha and the Babri Masjid board) while there are not sure what the Nirmohi Akahra which has got 1/3rd share of the dispute land in the verdict.

Nirmohi Akhara:

Nirmohi Akhara (or Nirmohi Akhada) is a group of monks who were doing their daily rituals near the disputed land and claimed that they had been staying there since decades and that the disputed land in Ayodhya belongs to them. This group has came into light in connection with the Ayodhya dispute since 1959, when it filed a title suit claiming that they own the disputed site of Babri mosque. Nirmohi Akhara intially filed a suit in January 1885. They requested the consent of the sub-judge of Faizabad to construct a temple for the Hindu god Rama, called the Ram Chabutra, very adjacent to the Babri mosque which was constructed by the Mughal emperor Babar in 1528 (16th century). But the permission was denied as the sub-judge felt that two different religious construction with so much proximity could lead to the public disorder. And since then, the group has been claiming their land in the form of suits to construct the temple there. On September 30, 2010, the Allahabad court three-panel bench has given a verdict allotting a 1/3rd part of the dispute land to the Nirmohi Akhara group. The Nirmohi Akhada is now headed by Mahant Bhaskar Das.

CBSE AIPMT 2010 Answer Keys – Aakash and Allen Institutes

The CBSE CBSE All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) 2010 Answer Keys has been published by two well known coaching institutes. Aakash Institute and Allen Career Institute has published the answer keys for all the questions of the AIPMT 2010.

CBSE AIPMT is a nationwide entrance exam for medical and dental admissions in India. AIPMT Prelims 2010 was held on 3rd April, 2010 and the final will be held on 16th May, 2010.
