Adobe Licensing Announcement

The state has purchased licensing that allows government agencies, including K12 schools, to create and distribute editable forms using Adobe software.

Details
Adobe requires licensing for the distribution of forms created with Adobe products. Since many North Dakota state agencies and schools use Adobe products for this purpose, the state purchased an inclusive licensing agreement. The licensing agreement does not provide any software, it simply allows for the legal distribution of editable forms created with Adobe products such as Adobe Acrobat X Standard and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Examples of how the license applies includes forms for orders, registrations, surveys and any other data your school wishes to collect via a PDF that can be viewed, printed and/or saved. Forms can be shared from your school website, student/staff blogs and social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter.
