This phrase popped' up when I was in my study mood but the fire of passion started dying out.I have tests coming up and some presentations that need to be done and organised.On the verge of delaying this presentation again,the phrase "If not now,when" came to mind.The work that needs to be done will not go away,delaying it will,well,just delay it.The work will still be there waiting for you to be done until the dead line and as the name suggests,you would be dead by then.So ask yourself this,if not now,when?Time to get your ass to work Edward!

YOG has been the talk of the town,for good and for bad.But people declaring they HATE Singapore?What have these people turn into?Have they forgotten everything that the government has done to ensure Singapore is a safe place to live in,and being the 4th least corrupt government in Asia and 1st in the world?

Will people only learn to appreciate what they have in Singapore when Singapore's economy falls to her knees and people experience true corruption and unemployment?

I have been thinking lately,is life more than just this

*pointing at piles of notes and textbooks*

My cousins from the U.S have arrived in Singapore and it seriously got me thinking when I was asked like what's fun or nice to eat around,made me realise that Singapore is just lacking in stuff like this.

It has always been about,studying,studying,studying.Good enough that I'm in poly,more time for me to 'explore' but really Singapore is more about education and economic progress than freedom and fun.Probably,it's an Asian thing(haha)

Also,leads me to talk about the YOG,nothing special at the opening ceremony than just the usual fireworks and 'retro' Singapore because economic progress doesn't make much of a performance doesn't it?

OR...this is just the usual me thinking way too far,seeing too little and lamenting too much.

And it seems like getting out of this country is the only way,Canada is off the list(parents say might as well go to the US,since their Universities are just not good enough compared to the US),UK too(Way to expensive according to parents),leaving Australia and the U.S.A.

I guess time will tell.

Literature,many people mistaken,is not the study of books :P
As defined,it is the study of letters and of course words.And guess who use words to communicate?

People.

That's right and that would probably where my love of literature comes from;being able to see more than just mere words in plain view but the deeper and more profound meaning under the facade.

When I say things,I mean them,when I say them in a serious context.I guess I have this sixth sense for guessing what people are feeling and it sometimes bothers me when it's ill feelings.Knowing it makes all the difference,subtle or obvious.

And heck yea this is about someone :P

Then I keep asking myself why make me go through all this torture?I feel really tired when I've tried to mend things with honesty,integrity and swallowed pride and all you get it dust from the boots of these oblivious people.Why go through all this trouble to fix something when some people just cannot appreciate what you've done?

Honestly, it angers me so when I recall all these things but at least they are short term and it's good to know I'm not the person who harbours these malicious emotions because ultimately it will only harm myself.

I guess with all this said,I am,really and truly,glad that I have given my all and I can totally sleep well every night with no ghost of trouble haunting me.

What else is a man to do?

Youtube got hacked?!

Basically some loophole allows scripts aka commands to be run from comments so its like 'hacking' any video that has comments enabled.This is a pretty scary thing if someone just decides to be really bad and do this to all you're videos or ANY video you like since many videos have comments enabled.

These videos that got 'hacked' will have no related videos and buttons,some or all,cannot be used at all.For some videos the text will just cover up the whole page with some random text.Popups can also be created from these script codes so whatever you do,DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS!

Anything can happen,maybe a hacked video can even redirect you to a webpage with viruses.

There's a video explaining some of this and you can see even this video has been corrupted because of people who ran scripts from the comments.

Edit:Added a picture for memories when it's fixed,you can see the text is oversized and there are no related videos.The video can still be seen though.

2nd picture you can see the script part on the comments box,and yea people who know the script put anything they like.And you can see I'm at the end of my scrollbar,the other comments cannot be seen.

Edit 2:Ok now some people are actually making videos on how to vandalize people's videos -.-

I've always thought it was strange to see large images of celebrities, models and news anchors on walls, billboards, and buses. I've wondered why these people are adorning our walls and public spaces instead of the individuals that make up our community. This project serves as a physical representation of the city of Portland through drawings of it's inhabitants.

And once again fulfilling the nerd in me is The Guild!The lead actress is from Buffy the Vampire and she made this new series herself(literally),like props,writing everything!

It was pretty tough at the start and she got a lot of help from her fellow actors/actresses and even guilds from games like World of Warcraft donating to her cause.Watch it!You don't have to play games to laugh :P
